Guest Reviews
- Shelley (8/5): Labour Day Weekend Get Away - We had an amazing time at Ten-ee-ah Lodge over the Labour Day weekend. We stayed in the quaint studio cabin - it was very clean and comfortable. The space was adequate and the wood stove heated up the area nicely.
Canoes and kayaks are free so we enjoyed a paddle on Spout Lake. Horses, goats and Canadian geese roam the property - it was just lovely.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our stay was relaxing, quiet, and extremely pleasant! We were able to do everything that we wanted!
The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed. Anita and Mani were excellent hosts, and were always available if we had any questions or needed anything.
We chose to do both Horseback riding and Canoeing during our stay, and had a blast with both of the activities. The lake was very large with a few smaller islands which had some picnic tables on them. To get to these islands it was about an hour, to just over an hour to get there by Canoe.
As a bonus it was really nice having friendly farm animals such as horses, goats, and a few dogs wandering around freely.
Note! There is a viewpoint at the end of the lake and if you do want to go there, it will require some extra gear as the trails are rather overgrown. The trails are marked but long pants and some bushwhacking gear is recommended.
Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely stay at the Ten-ee-ah Lodge again in the future!
