I was mainly in contact with them! And honestly it exceeded my expectations! I would 1000% recommend this hotel! The beds are the comfiest! The rooms are sooo nice and clean and the staff are absolutely amazing!

- James (6/5): - We arrived early and so we checked in via the reception desk and were told that when we came back at 1500 hrs we could use the online check in. Tried to check in on the online check in when we arrived back at the hotel only to find it wouldn’t work and the staff member hadn’t bothered to complete our check in. Staff would rather chat between themselves for a couple of minutes than greet you when standing at the desk waiting to be served. Arrived in our room and found we had no body soap in the shower and the touch button to activate the waterfall stream in the shower didn’t work. Other than that, it was a great stay, it’s in a nice area next to Ajax stadium and is between 2 stations, one being a train and metro station and the other a metro station so convenient transport links. Only other thing we didn’t like was the price of breakfast, €22.50 per person is shocking. Especially if you’re staying for 3 days and if there two of you. €135 just for breakfast is criminal and just pure greed on the hotels behalf. Plus, the hotel charges €24.50 for its burger of the week, just keep your money and go find a nice restaurant where you can get a nice sit in meal for probably the same price or less.

They don’t have parking really just a couple spots in front of the hotel. The parking lot isn’t control by the hotel and kind of expensive. Overall I would go ahead because of how nice the staff is and the amenities

- Erika (10/5): - Best hotel if you’re going to a concert in the Ziggi Dome, can’t beat the location literally next door. Online and app check in was not worth it or available but check in was efficient. Room walls and blinds a bit run down but shower was great and had a good sleep. Restaurant was slow (busy) but very good. Not sure if area is safe at night towards metro station but I’d stay again at this hotel for an event.

Only negatives- smart shower kept turning off & fan/temp in room didn’t work well so our room was very hot. Noticeably cooler in hall corridor when we checked out in morning.

Only negative would be the hotel bar prices, a small, 250ml, bottle of Diet Coke and a fresh orange and lemonade was 14 Euro 50, a bit extreme.

- Susan (4/5): Hotel amenities misleading - We were so looking forward to our stay, but there were some key reasons we chose this hotel over others and were left disappointed. We knew it was going to be very hot while we were in Amsterdam so we made sure to select a hotel with air conditioning. Unfortunately it didn’t work the entire time we were there. Our room at one point was 26 degrees Celsius. We were able to switch rooms but still had the same problem and then in our new room we couldn’t change the shower temperature and the tablet for the tv didnt work either. The staff offered a fan, but then nothing came. My husband checked with them again and they said all the fans had already been given out to other guests. We were also expecting there to be laundry facilities onsite as per the list of amenities and that was false. They work with a laundry service that picks up your laundry and then brings it back. The timing of that wouldn’t work for us. Overall we were left disappointed. The staff were the only good thing about our stay

- Verified traveler (8/5): Jaz in the City - It was ight, nice place, far (23$ uber) from where you going if you are a tourist and back, nice place tho, next to a nice soccer arena which is nice if you play soccer, staff was weird and socially awkward but hey that’s Europe. Nice place tho, wish it had a hot tub. My favorite part of the hotel was the protein shake vending machine in the fitness room, that saved my mornings (I lift, do you?)

Was nice to be able to drop my luggage off before check-in and leave it after checkout until it was time to go to the airport. Had an issue with the electricity in my room and had to be moved, but was upgraded to larger suite. Couldn't figure out how to open the balcony door for the life of me. Price is definitely because of the location; it's not as polished as I expected it to be. Worth it tho, because it's connected to Ziggo Dome and it was nice being able to head right to my room after the show was over without worrying about cabs or whatever. I added breakfast on one day and it was OK; I think my amerikan expectations were the problem because for that price in the US it's usually a hot buffet with omelet and waffle stations and such. This was mostly cold foods, but there was a self-serve pancake and waffle making station, fresh squeezed juices, and the pastries were super fresh and yummy.

This is an absolutely excellent place to stay for events in the area as it is right beside the queues for ziggo done and the stadium
- Anthony (8/5): - This place was surprisingly comfortable. It’s there for the venues it serves and appears fairly minimalist. However, the room was comfortable and, while crowded, the bar was atmospheric. Breakfast is a little disappointing but adequate. My only real complaint is that when ordering in the bar you seem to wait a lot longer if you use the online system - far better to shoulder your way to the bar which seems rather perverse. We did eventually catch one of the servers and finally got our order long after those who’d arrived after us and gone straight to the bar.
- Andrew (10/5): - I was attending a concert at the Ziggo Dome and Jaz in the City Amsterdam is right next door, so very convenient. The restaurant is small, but the food is tasty and nicely priced. The front staff was friendly and rewarded a well timed joke with a free beer card! Room was excellent…clean, lovely shower, and nice coffee. 7 minute walk to a metro station that is only 15 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station. Excellent price too.

- Christipher (10/5): - Really nice music themed venue. Rooms were as you'd expect from this kind of hotel, good size, clean, comfy bed. Only bad point was that there wasn't a mirror near a good amount of lighting. One on the door but not much light and the bathroom ones were ok but the lighting was too dim. Otherwise great location with short walk to the station & lots of food places & shops nearby & of course two big music venues & the football stadium next door. Staff were super helpful & very polite.

Location for us was great, as it was walking distance to the station. Quick and direct train to get to airport and the same to get to Centraal station. Took about 25 mins to get there but it was easy. Nice safe area and great vibe on match and concert days. If you want to be out of the main area, this is a great hotel

- Jeffrey (10/5): - Exceptionally friendly staff. Clean hotel, room, gym... Food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the service. Nice gym with sauna. Close to public transport. Cons: Shower door seal didn't meet the floor so water leaked out and I had to use a towel to sop up the water. One of the treadmills wasn't working so I had people waiting on me to finish my cardio which made me feel a bit rushed. Really I need to stretch my imagination to try to find negatives but, I don't give out a perfect score easily. I enjoyed my stay and would certain go back if I have a reason to be in the area.

When I arrived the room had a horrible smell that lingered the entire stay, not to mention the fridge wasn’t working for 2 nights and you have to request room cleaning the night before; it’s not done daily without your request. The location is amazing and that’s really what you’re paying for

- Rotimi (8/5): Amsterdam Trip - At first I was not happy with the location due to distance to the City centre but with the train station nearby which only takes 15 minutes made it even better. Location is fantastic, hotel is great and was amaze about the use of technology (remote control, phone and shower) you needs to see it.

- Kevin (2/5): - Unable to fly due to flight cancellation. No refund given. Several major hotel chains have given full refunds to customers who could not travel due to the IT outage. Very disappointing customer service from this hotel.
- Bryan (10/5): - 20 min metro to Cenraal. Staff in hotel and restaurant knew me by name by the 2nd day. I had not expected my trip to the Netherlands to be that special, but EVERYONE I met felt like a friend. The staff at Jaz and Rhythms deal with a huge amount of people on a daily basis, but when i was walking out the door to leave for the airport, the desk staff yelled out, "Bye Bryan it was so nice to meet you!" I'll be returning.

- Sheri (8/5): - This is an amazing property if you are staying in Amsterdam or having a slight layover at AMS. I went here for Doja Cat concert on 6.19.24. The hotel was right next door to Ziggo Dome and other venues. Check-in was easy. However, beware that they do not let you check in until 3 p.m. (1500) and they are strict about it. There are many places to rest or relax until check-in. Staff just didn't tell me about it. They did hold my luggage complimentary. There are many stores and restaurants nearby. The transit-Bjimer Arena is walking distance about 7-10 minutes. It will take you long distances and there are plenty of buses. AMS airport is one stop away. Best staff member is Nancy.
