Loretta (2/5): Worst stay ever!! - The location is great because you can fish in the Atlantic or in the bay. The housekeeping person is great and the room was clean. We were told by the new owner last year that the rooms were all going to be redone, but we got there and all the sea view rooms were still the same. Both beds were horrible and my back hurt after sleeping four nights. We don’t like the new people running the hotel either.

Parking is free. It was quiet and chill. The host didn't provide the wifi information. There's nothing around. The little beach house is a bit of a mess.

The beds were uncomfortable, the drapes were translucent so the morning sun came right in. Our feet were black from grime on the floor. The door & shower were missing finish. The closet door wasn’t on the track.

kaylav944 (10/5): Phenomenal place! - AMAZING. They were professional, friendly, prepared and took us in like we had known each other for years. The pool was spotless and so warm! Perfect for a night swim. The little atoll they created was super cute. The little beach they put together was awesome. Not very sandy but if you like to snorkel you can do it right off their property and we got to see so much! Parrot fish, zebra fish, sea slug and I’m almost certain there were manatees. I found a big conch shell too! We walked down the road to the little fishing nook/docs which had a small bridge and there were nurse sharks and a huge hermit crab! The pelicans come to hang on the doc (one of them likes to be fed- they named him poncho and he was super cool) and there’s a cute cat that hangs out between buildings by the garbage can lol - he responded to being called trash can and let us pet him. We also got pizza by the stand in their parking lot and it was SO GOOD. The room was gorgeous and clean, the bed was really comfy. The views were to die for! Their convenience store was perfect to grab what you need in the morning before exploring. We wanted to stay longer but they were already booked up. We will absolutely be coming again!

Leslie (3/5): - Very good location. The lady who checked us in was very nice. 1. We were not sick AT ALL when we arrived. That evening in the corner room, #8, we smelled mold/ mildew. It wasn't strong. The next morning I was unable to talk. We left, and on the next morning, I had to go to Urgent Care for meds. Two days later, my husband went to Urgent Care. Both physicians said it could have been uncleaned air duct system. 2. Latinos (or?) Dominated the pool and were yelling loudly and continually.

Wollte erst 0 Punkte geben, aber nach einem Gespräch mit einer sehr netten Servicekraft habe ich erfahren, dass die Lodge erst vor kurzem dem Besitzer gewechselt habt. Viel Erfolg bei der Renovierung! Aber Leute, dann müsst ihr andere Preise wählen in so einer Umbauphase: Kühlschrank kaputt, Einrichtung super runtergekommen, Wände sehr hellhörig, Familie fünfköpfig und nur 2 große Handtücher. Wir sind leider sehr enttäuscht und sauer über das schlechte Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Adam (10/5): - I was looking close to something to Marathon and it was really convenient. I stayed there two nights I was gone most of the two days. So I didn't notice anything that I didn't like everything was in place when I needed it.
Laurie (6/5): This is a super quirky place with a nice pool and back deck. - The back deck was lovely looking out on the marina. The pool was small but well maintained. It was a salt water pool which we loved and it was warm! The room was shabby. Paint peeling. The shower handle fell off. We blew a circuit when the microwave and A/C were running at the time. Beds were very old and saggy. The A/C was an old window unit and very loud and not very effective.

Mais malheureusement Aucun accueil à l'arrivée a 20h plus personne ,heureusement que on avait un numéro américain pour appeler un numéro qu'on a trouvé dans le bâtiment à côté ; la chambre n'est pas du tout entretenue Moisissure à la salle de bain meuble cassé ! Bob (8/5): - For us, it was a good location. We liked the cleanliness, the shower and the balcony. There were no places in the room to hang clothes—only one hook (inside of bathroom door), no hangers and no place to put them. Just add about four hooks and put some clothes hangers on them.

Cassandra (8/5): Wonderful little place! - I absolutely loved that it was located in a little fishing village. It reminds me of the one back home, called Matlacha and unfortunately our little fishing village was destroyed by hurricane Ian. Just being on site brought back so many happy memories. My mom Loved the balcony, it was lovely to stand on it and look at the water. The saltwater pool was heated and really nice too. Beds were super comfy. I also like that they just emailed me a door code so I could check in late and there was no key to turn in when we left, so checkout was just a goodbye and thanks. Smelled a little weird, but that might be related to the location. The walls might need a washing, or it could just be a little off because its right on the sea and it absorbed the sea smells. Thats literally it. This is my first stay on the sea like this, so that smell might be normal.
Dan (8/5): Our short overnight stay was fine and suited our needs. - The location suited our needs and was great. The weather was not that good, so we could not enjoy the surroundings. The order communication and instructions were great. There was no breakfast (as expected), but there was a coffee machine with capsules, which was enough for us. The room was clean but a bit stuffy. Unfortunately, because it was windy and a bit cold, we could not open a window to let in some fresh air.

Earnest (3/5): Beautiful area but I wouldn’t choose this place again based on cleanliness. - Beautiful location and friendly staff. Obviously outdated, that was tolerable. The room wasn’t very clean and the photos were a bit misleading (even the building looks different.) The toilet wasn’t clean, the bathroom ceiling had mold, the shower didn’t drain properly so we didn’t shower or we’d have been standing in nasty water. Nothing else was available in all of the keys or we’d have gone elsewhere. The handyman work around there is interesting to say the least. There was a used tampon applicator on the back docks. Oh and we got woken at 7am to a kid throwing rocks at the building.
jefflL1203SR (10/5): Excellent stay, we will definitely be back. - We stayed here a full week and loved every minute of it. The rooms are typical Florida Keys accommodations. Simple but very clean. The sheets and towels looked new. Maria at the front desk could not have been any sweeter and helpful. There’s a small convenience store attached that sells every drink, snack and necessity you could ever need. And their beachwear is 1/3 the price of the same clothing down the road. They have a pizza truck in the parking lot and they also rent brand new looking pontoons and jet skis. Sharice (8/5): Great Keys location - Parking was good. Found it to be quiet. Enjoyed being on the water. Room was very spacious. The lock on the sliding door didn't seem very strong and it made me nervous every night. Also our code didn't work. Thankfully we got in early enough that day staff was still there.

Friendly staff with great advice for local places to eat & drink. rkmfl (2/5): Has potential but fails on many levels - This motel has potential but fails on many levels. Because many guests appear to store fish in the refrigerator, opening it fills the room with a horrible smell. Several fixtures in the room are also falling apart. Worse yet, they rely on an automated text-messaging system that goes offline after hours. In my case, they failed to provide the correct door code, and I was locked out of my room for the night. Despite their error, they still charged me for the room. Their sole attempt to resolve the issue was offering a checkout extension of two hours. Also, do not make the mistake of checking out even one minute past 11:00 AM; the staff will berate you. The motel has potential given the price and the view. However, until they repair the rooms, deep-clean the refrigerators, and provide a way to reach a human after hours, it is not a good value.

SassyHSmama (10/5): Most pleasant surprise! - My husband and I had planned to return to Miami but were enjoying The Keys and googled to see if there was an affordable, last-minute hotel option. We were pleasantly surprised to score a studio and had a great experience with a check-in via text and we were able to arrive past the usual check-in time via keyless entry. I was “holding my breath” because I was booking “sight unseen” and had not opted for travelers insurance so no refund if we felt unsafe or if it was unclean, but it exceeded our expectations! It was immaculate and beautifully decorated with nautical colors and had every amenity as described on the website, including a compact refrigerator with a freezer compartment. We enjoyed the balcony view of the sunrise over the ocean. So glad we chose this place and had a comfortable night’s rest in Room 9 on the 2nd floor!

We booked two rooms and one was renovated and the other was not. The non renovated rooms are clean and as put together as can be but definitely need to be renovated. In their defense they have new ownership and it takes time to get renovations done, but you can see the progress they are making.

Įėjus kvapas buvo baisus, lyg tai valymo priemonės išpiltos, visa laimė pradarius balkoną iki vakaro išsivėdino. Labai prasta garso izoliacija, kaimynai ilgai baliavojo, tada visą likusią naktį pravėmė. Tualetas kaip supratau, buvo prie mano miegamojo sienos, tai garsas toks lyg abu kartu tam tualete sėdėtume. Deja registratūra nedirba visą parą, kambaryje telefono nebuvo, tad ir susisiekti mums nebuvo kaip. Absoliučiai nerekomenduoju šio viešbučio, kėlėmės anksti ryte, kad tik kuo greičiau pabėgti.

Destination610750 (2/5): Terrible…. Do NOT recommend this place - We booked through a 3rd party. The room we chose was to have 2 beds, balcony and water view. (We are not fussy, just needs to be clean). We received an email the day before to check in online, so we did. When we arrived the property had a sign that the front desk was closed (approximately 8pm). They had a sign with a phone number to call for emergency only. (We had no issue with that). We had a code for our door so we went on a search to find our room. (Not well marked). We ventured up the stairs only to be met with a very strong perfume/baby powder type smell. (We were still outside and have not entered our room). Once inside the room the smell was much worse. The room was very dirty with fuzz on the ceiling, microwave was very dirty (definitely from more than one guest). The beds had hair on the sheets. The dresser and night stand both had dirt stains. The walls and ceiling had water damage. The air conditioning unit had duct tape around it. The doors were filthy with hand mark stains (from long term use without cleaning). The balcony did not feel safe and overlooked the roof of another building. When we called the phone number given to us. No one answered. We then called our 3rd party booking (Expedia). They also could not reach the management for a room change. At this point my daughter and I were both feeling a headache due to the perfume smell. Not to mention the underlying sewer smell (that I assume the perfume was to cover) was now coming through. We decided to leave and find a reasonable place. We stayed the night at the Marriott 20 minutes away. (Highly recommended) The next day Expedia called and told me that the hotel offered a $50 refund. (We paid almost 200). I contacted the hotel and was advised… “maybe someone slept in the room as the bed was messed a bit”. I told the manager(Moses) that was to check the bed… and it was dirty. He then offered $100. I advised him I have pictures, the room was disgusting and I expect a full refund… or I would be contacting someone to help me legally. He said “ok, I will send the money back to Expedia”. Not one apology… not once did he seem surprised that someone was complaining. It seemed like this was a normal thing. I will not ever stay there and do not recommend it to anyone.. A horrible experience for a Mother and Daughter travelling.

Andres Zuluaga V (10/5): UBICACION / HABITACIÓN INCREIBLE / AMOR POR LOS DETALLES - Todo de este lugar nos encantó, la carretera de los cayos es muy larga y esta ubicación es perfecta para hacer un stop si vas hasta key west / La atención de Maria Clara! fue increible siempre la recordaremos / Estan remodelando las habitaciones y de verdad lo están haciendo como los dioses, están quedando increibles. / El hotel tiene un muellecito precioso para relajarte un rato en la noche viendo las estrellas y una piscina muy bien cuidada / En este punto de los cayos puedes sentir ese encanto pesquero sin las multitudes de los cayos mas poblados, es un spot perfecto y tranquilo en la mitad de las mejores playas de los cayos / en general se ve mucho el amor con el que hacen todo en este lugar. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had a fresh, pleasant scent. There was an ocean view from the balcony, and stepping outside at sunrise offered a peaceful start to the day—watching the sky light up over the water was a simple but memorable highlight. The location provides easy access to the marina and pool area, and the staff were courteous and efficient. Check-in was seamless, and everything functioned as expected. The room was also well-stocked with plenty of towels and all the standard essentials—soap, shampoo, and other toiletries—so I had everything I needed for a short stay. For a reliable, comfortable overnight stop in the Middle Keys with an ocean view and straightforward service, this lodge delivers excellent value. I give it a 5-star recommendation and would stay here again on future business travel through the area.

Turf on balcony unsecured left debris into room every time enter/exited, a/c not cooling room properly, ran out of toilet paper before check out, they never checked on us for clean towels or trash removal, my 33 year old son fell down front steps and injured himself, back legs and hand. It us all on camera. The front desk individual was rude an abrasive when we were checking out. A lesson in customer service would do her and your resort good. I would never recommend anyone to choose this location.

katesD4880GL (4/5): Bed bugs - First room had terrible mold problem covered up with heavy perfume spray. Second room looked better on the surface but I had to move to a marrot at almost midnight because something in the bedding was biting me. Front desk was closed, no one to call. No mattress encasements and the mattress cover had dirt in the cracks, wasn't washed. The docks with the manatees and private beach were nice though.
