• Jean (2/5): - Accueil vraiment pas convivial. Impression de déranger. Les propriétaires ont l’air fâché de voir des clients. Plus jamais.
• KHALID (4/5): - Le terrain est beau, sur un beau lac, mais la chambre est ridicule. En plus, trop de restrictions. Exemple tchek out à 10h, tu dois non seulement partir de la chambre mais du terrain et du parking ! On avait une seule serviette, à notre demande on nous a donné une 2e . Donc chacun a une serviette pour tous ses besoins des 24h: douche, lavage des mains, lavage du visage le lendemain.. On a pensé amener nos oreillers, il a fallu qu’on amène nos serviettes aussi. Bref, on y retournera plus jamais.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Not a very good experience - I would like to say: it is rock-n-roll.....but it actually isn't. The room is small and poor. The bed slept terrible and the sheets were old. The grey blanket on the bed had a burning-hole in it. The carpet felt dirty. The shower was good however and the lake was beautiful. We paid $129,- incl tax, and this is way overpriced

• Amélie (4/5): - L'endroit aurait vraiment besoin d'un coup de jeunesse, de rafraichissement. C'est tres vieux mais sans cachet. L'air est très sec et ca sent le renfermer, le vieux. Le tapis est pas très invitant, il y a des énormes traces de vieillissement. Lorsque nous voulons brancher quelque chose dans les prises électriques elles sont toutes lousse et rien n'y tient. Le matelas du lit est sur utiliser et absolument pas confortable. Nous pouvons sentir tous les "springs" du matelas et nous sommes repartis avec un énorme mal de dos. Le "check out" est beaucoup trop tard (8h30) pour ceux qui doivent partir tôt, un autre fonctionnement serait a mettre de l'avant. L'accueuil laissait a désirer, nous nous sommes pas sentis accueillis, c'était malaisant. La poignée de porte de la chambre etait tres lousse et difficile a utiliser lorsque nous voulions la barrée ou la débarrer. Nous ny retournerons assurement jamais. Beaucoup trop cher pour une simple chambre inconfortable.

• Heidy (8/5): - Very "country", rustic, takes you back to the seventies. Clean,very basic. A small carpet in front of the tub would have been nice. To have the two sets of towels differently colored would also have been nice to avoid confusions.My main reason for wanting to go back is the swimming in the clear northern lake and the small but lovely private beach.

• Pascal Adam (10/5): - It's a really nice and cheap place to stay at St-Donat. I recommend. They have a huge terrain and the lake view is beautiful. I'll come back soon. Forget the bad feedback, I hesitate when I saw the feedback, but you have to come to understand the people that leave bad review on this motel, they were trouble maker. At the price that cost, they have access to the lake, it's really cheap for a motel at this location. I suggest to book the suite, they have all appliance need for living there. • Louise (6/5): Un toit sur la tête et c’est tout… - Accueil glacial. Nous sommes arrivés trempés à 14h45, surpris par un orage costaud lors d’une randonnée en forêt. Même si notre chambre était prête, la dame à l’accueil nous a demandé d’attendre dans notre voiture car l’arrivée est à 15h pas avant… Notre séjour étant prévu pour 3 jours, nous aurions aimé que la chambre soit aérée, que le frigo soit branché et qu’il y ait des serviettes supplémentaires mais ce n’était pas le cas. De plus, pas de cafetière dans la chambre, donc petit voyage au Tim Horton à prévoir chaque matin… Pas de climatisation dans la chambre alors endroit à éviter en période de canicule. Endroit désuet en manque d’amour…
• Verified traveler (6/5): OK - Accueil un peu froid. 15 heure c'est 15h pour l'arrivée peu importe que les chambres soient vide ou pas. Le WiFi est bon. La petite plage est belle avec une belle vue sur le lac, mais accessible seulement comme la chambre entre 15h PM et 10h AM. Alors préparez vous à arrivé après 15h et partir avant 10h AM. Mais la propreté est bonne malgré l'âge du motel.

• Doug (8/5): - This is a well located property near restaurants and a beach and with a view of the lake and surrounding hills. The property is clean, but very tired and rundown in spots (steps, driveway, furniture). It was acceptable for the price.

Reception was accommodating when we notified them that we would have to check-in after their posted hours. Met our needs for our two night stay and was good value. I would recommend that some gravel or or other repair be done at the parking lot entrance (could be tricky for lower cars due to pot holes).

There is only someone on reception until 10pm but we called in advance to let them know we would be late and they accommodated for us. It is a simple and quite a picturesque drive to Mont-Tremblant from here and is definitely a cheaper alternative to staying close to the resort itself. Not many of the staff speak English but those that do speak perfectly

• Verified traveler (4/5): Wifi in lobby til 10 and somewhat crappy beds - wifi not available in room, only available in lobby til 10pm. The room condition is a little bit older and less than I expected. The beds are not so great.
• Inna (8/5): Motel on the lake - Amenities: internet is not available in the room, only in the tiny check-in area during limited hours. TV in the room had only 1 channel. So if you want an isolation from the news, good place to be. Watching Olympics in French was a bit tricky, but fun. We also needed to make a booking for our next destination and had to look around for Tim Hortons to get through. Location: great location on the lake in the nice town. There is a beach & water activities on site. 15 mins to Mont Tremblant park which is awesome either in summer or winter. 5 starts for location. You gotta visit Mont Tremblant in summer. Room: we stayed in Deluxe Cottage. It's spacious, but dated. Everything is overused in the room, including dishes, utensils & towels, but we didn't mind. It's a cottage after all. We enjoyed our stay. Price was fair for location & space. The only wish for the motel is to get the internet working in all room. Nowadays its a convenience everyone would be looking for.
