- Leda (10/5): Perfect first visit to ZA! - Our hosts were exceptional and so delightful to visit with. They recommended a trip to Hermanus on our rest day and their recommendation was perfect. Breakfast had everything we needed to get us going and we felt so cared for. Also, the gardens, view, and weather made this visit memorable. I had some jet lag and terrible allergies due to the climate difference, but that just provided another way we felt cared for by our hosts.

- Kenneth (9/5): Excellent facilities and views with friendly hosts - The room, facilities and outlook onto the garden were great with beautiful views over the sea and surrounding mountains. Peter and Mai were very engaging and friendly hosts. Only a couple of very minor points: 1. The drive up to the house is very steep and winding (not quite so easy in the dark with power outages!). 2. We would have preferred separate tables at breakfast (not that that was a problem)

Peter gab uns sehr viele Tips zu Restaurants, Unternehmungen usw und buchte für uns auch telefonisch Teetimes und Dinner.

- Cameron (10/5): Small slice of Heaven - We had a very clean room with spacious bathroom (with shower, bidet and a jacuzzi bath). Well stocked mini-bar. Attractive, homely and quiet with the most lovely views towards Strand and the sea. We had the best Sunday breakfast we've been given (outside of a 5 Star Hotel). Peter and Mae are very helpful, but never intrusive. We loved our stay and hope to go back when we are next in the area.
- Angela (10/5): Best choice in Somerset West - I had a great view from my room, which was very comfortable, spacious, nice linen and immaculately maintained, secure and quiet. The breakfast spread was very good, with all seasonal fruit available, incl. German bread rolls, which I very much appreciated, being rather rare in South Africa. German TV was a bonus for me, too. Lovely hosts. Could not have asked for more and will be back.
