- Holley (10/5): - Very good breakfast, but I recommend real spoons. Wooden spoons are creepy feeling. Also, a recycling bin for yoghurt containers would be great All was very good

- Joyce (9/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): -

- Amanda (10/5): -
- Stefanie Burnham (10/5): - Great location, super cozy room. Clean and it had everything I needed. Also it was extremely quiet which seems increasingly hard to find. Most places I've stayed you tend to hear people next to you all night long in the rooms. Even though the room next to me was occupied, I never heard anything.
- Miller (10/5): -
- Miles (8/5): -
- Ellen (10/5): Boutique stay, charming room - Boutique feel, one of a kind art by local artists in the room, very clean and comfortable, a friendly owner and excellent breakfast.

- Teresa (3/5): Clean and cold - Nice location and the staff were nice and helpful. Room was nice and clean however it was freezing. The breakfast was good, but it was served in an outdoor garage with no heat. Outdoor temp was 30 degrees.
- Tollison (10/5): Lovely quaint accommodation - The setting was beautiful. Hospitality exceptional. Only negative was that breakfast was in open air garage and it was 34 degrees outside. Too cold for outdoor eating. Eating in warm area.
- Barbara (9/5): Great places and area to stay - Cute little motel with nice decor and local art work on the wall. Comfortable, clean and nice location. Outside also had art work, like sculptures. They offered us Ice and we felt very relaxed after a long drive. The area had so many things to see all within minutes from the Motel. Nothing
- Janet (9/5): A Vermont Night in beautiful hills - Room size outdoor art displays grounds breakfast Rt 7A traffic noise
- Garry (8/5): This is an unassuming looking but excellent, roomy motel unit that has been very well maintained - Excellent bedding/pillows, very clean and neat modern bathroom. Free Breakfast was fine. A fresh continental style. I guess if it had been located right in Bennington township itself, it would have been more convenient.
- Bill (9/5): Very clean and comfortable. Great view. Just what we needed - Very clean and comfortable. Great view.
- Don (10/5): -

- Julie (10/5): I had a wonderful stay. I have been there a few times and they never disappoint - Everything was wonderful No complaints at all
- Lauren (10/5): - I quickly searched for a last minute one night stay that wasn't a hotel chain. We wanted an updated motel (my husband likes to be able to park the motorcycle outside the door) and this place checked ALL of our boxes. We wanted something quiet, cozy and close to a restaurant as we prefer to walk to and from dinner. This motel was so charming. The continental breakfast was creative and adorable. To our surprise, our economy room had been totally renovated recently and was perfectly comfortable and super cute. I feel so fortunate that we found it and we would absolutely return.
- steven (10/5): Road trip - Great hotel due to late flight we emailed on the day we were going to be late owner replied it wasn’t a problem told us our room number and even left the light on. Great room nice breakfast and friendly staff shame we weren’t there a bit earlier
- Laura (6/5): - Great location. The staff was welcoming. The place has charm and a view. The bed in room 14 is not comfortable and is incredibly noisy. The frame is very old and the mattress should be replaced. The room itself was fine and the bathroom was decent. The breakfast was definitely rustic but charming. Plenty to choose.
- ray (9/5): -
- Reyman (10/5): I enjoyed my stay. - I was pleasantly surprised that the room was so neat and clean. The decor was lovely and the linens were soft and fresh. The staff were very kind and engaging. I enjoyed chatting with Megan and the owner. The TV was difficult to work and there was not much of a selection to watch.
- JAMES (10/5): - The "community" breakfast with people from Houston, Dallas, Maryland & NH sharing a table & conversation
Great hospitality
- Charles (9/5): - Comfortable room, dog friendly and a great breakfast. Nothing
- Jean (10/5): Perfect. -
- Denise (8/5): -
- Warren (8/5): - An older motel setting has been kept in great condition. Very environmentally friendly. Minimal waste.
Be sure to carry in, carry out.
Be self sufficient.
- Paul (10/5): -
- Edward (9/5): Cozy, clean stay - Comfortable, clean, friendly staff.
- Kenneth (10/5): -
- Virginia (10/5): A slice of native Vermont heaven - This motel is a little slice of heaven. Clean, eco-modern spaces… beautiful grounds with a field, fire pit and areas to just relax in nature. I woke up to monarch caterpillars on milkweed outside my door. Beautiful gardens of native plants spread across the property… My son is at a college up the road and I have absolutely found my hotel; no need to look elsewhere!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Cozy and Clean - Very clean! Great location. Breakfast items offered was a nice variety. The only issue I experienced was not being able to adjust the temperature in the room. (which really did not affect my overall comfort).
- Susan (10/5): - The best place to stay for Bennington parents. By far.
- jane h. (10/5): Lovely Stay - Easy and friendly check in. Room clean in every respect. Micro and fridge! Original art (for sale) on the walls. Updated beautiful bathroom. Very nice toiletries. Bed was quite comfortable.
Outside surroundings beautiful with flowers and sculpture. One restaurant within walking distance. Downtown a short 8 minute drive away.
- Jennifer (9/5): Would recommend to anyone coming to the area. Keep doing what you're doing. It's great. - I liked the convenience of my car right outside. The breakfast was perfect to get started. The bed in our room was super comfortable and the owner couldn't have been more lovely. I asked a LOT of questions. Thanks!! Oh and the bath products!!! Smelled so good!!!! The showerhead, but I'm really picky.
- Shirley (10/5): - Great local place to stay. Friendly folks and comfortable clean room.
- Alice (10/5): - A b
- Melissa (10/5): - Delightful country stay in North Bennington. Restaurant within walking distance. Excellent views. Love the artsy atmosphere.
- Barbara (10/5): - This is the nicest motel I've ever stayed in. The property is beautiful, with flowers, antiques, and rock walls all around. The room I stayed in was a typical motel size, but it had been recently remodeled, with solid, attractive furnishings, perfect decor, and a lovely bathroom. And Martha is fantastic.
- Sara (8/5): Cozy, clean, beautiful views, delicious simple breakfast. - The hotel is very cozy, clean, with beautiful views, and beautiful artwork. Location is also excellent - so close to the main street, with a fantastic restaurant next door (also with spectacular views). They also provided an impressive and very helpful list of recommendations for hiking trails, shopping, cultural excursions, restaurants. The only not-so-hot thing was that he bed was not very comfortable, the base was a little unstable. But it's Ok, we were there for just 3 days, it was not a big problem! Other than that one tiny thing, we truly enjoyed everything else about the Harwood Hill Motel!
- Kyle (9/5): - Nice clean, newly renovated rooms, nice accommodations and extra amenities (firepit, BBQ stand, badminton net).We had a small issue with TV not working, was quickly addressed and fixed by staff. Staff was very nice, friendly and responsive.
Stopped here as a halfway point driving home from Maine, will definitely do again.
- Dennis (7/5): -
- Susan (8/5): - Room was great! Beds very good. Disappointed by the continental breakfast. Needed a grab and go but the bagels were dry and tough. No other choices except cold cereal.
- Linda (9/5): Very nice place and the room was spacious. Would have loved a bit more space in the bathroom -
- David (10/5): - Very close to town for any shopping or last minute items. Very friendly staff, will definitely be staying there again in the future.
- Paul (8/5): Renovated gem - Great little motel that has been renovated. Staff is very nice. Rooms are small but well designed.
- James (10/5): - Great little place Very good staff. Thanks for kindness
- Mary (10/5): - Lovely boutique property. Check out yard art around property as well.
- Ron (9/5): Our stay was comfortable and we felt welcomed by the local staff and owner. - The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The outside grounds are somewhat overgrown. The building are old with lots small maintenance items that could be improved. For some, that adds to the "charm" of the place, for others it could be a negative. I WOULD NOT LET THESE COMMENTS PREVENT ME FROM CHOOSING TO STAY THERE.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The owners have done a very nice job of renovating an old Vermont property into a welcoming and environmentally friendly space. Very friendly staff.
- Carolyn (10/5): - Charming, impeccably clean motel.
- christine (10/5): - It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was healthy and served in a clean area. Very convenient location for visiting tourist attractions and hiking trails.
- Jodi (10/5): - Quaint roadside motel with 70’s vibe. easy access off route 7
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Just a great vibe there. Very artsy, family, community feel
- Annette S (10/5): - Best place ever. Clean floors and bathroom.
- Lacey (6/5): Gorgeous location, room's got all the basics you need, uncomfortable bed. - Quiet, quaint motel in the hills. The pillows were very old/hard, the bed was very firm/lumpy/uncomfortable, and there were some black spots on the ceiling of the bathroom.
