Guest Reviews
- Catherine (10/5): Short stay## - Have visited this hotel before to enjoy food&bervagaes and decided to stay for new years eve a tribute band was playing fabulous rooms spacious"lovely menu" spotless" above all with out the staff it would lose its appeal they make it 'will be back &value for money.
- cathy (8/5): - It was good just the noise at the front of the hotel as we were in the front.of it one had steak dinner it was fabulus other rwo had chicken goujons which was pinkwhen we were eating it so we didnt eat much of the dinner have been staying there before and food was lovely really enjoyed it
- David (8/5): Good! - We stayed one night here.. it was in a conveinient location and easy to find. We had a great supper here as well as breakfast!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel, clean very good breakfast included. Internet excellent!
Was some road noise in room
- James (6/5): Convenient Hotel for Clarecastle Area - What could have been a positive experience was spoiled by the shock of a dirty toilet.
Also surprised by lack of any printed material in the room both relating to hotel facilities and places of interest in the locality.
- Manon (10/5): Parfait - Un séjour parfait avec petit déjeuner compris.
Très bon rapport qualité/prix.
À recommander!
- Dolores (8/5): - Arches hotel is 10km from Galway city. We needed an overnight stay for an early hospital appt and this accommodation met our needs. Staff friendly and food was adequate.price was reasonable for 2 persons. Good sized room we have stayed in this hotel previously and would stay here again
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Hotel - Great service and an amazing breakfast. The room for families was very large and we loved the set up. The only negatives were the lack of air conditioning and we were near a very noisy street.
- Lisa (10/5): Great hotel - Brilliant hotel for a family break, everything we needed in our bedroom and the food was fantastic in the restaurant. Breakfast served until 11 which was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend, has everything you need, clean comfortable bedrooms, comfortable beds and very friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice clean room.. very nice breakfast served by very polite staff.. request a room at the back of the hotel though as the noise from the traffic out the front had me awake from 7 am!
- Karen (10/5): Perfect getwaway - Our stay at the arches was lovely.
The rooms are very comfortable and accommodating breakfast served every morning was delicious . Our room did get very warm I'm sure it was because of the unusually warm weather we were having outside .
- Valerie (10/5): Great for families - Great for family, with plenty of room. Staff at front desk very helpful and very friendly. Pub was terrific for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good homely hotel - Stayed for a night before I headed for galway for a wedding must say it were just what I required staff were friendly and had a great breakfast the next morning before we set off again great value for money
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice - Clean and friendly hotel
- Teresa (2/5): Avoid at all costs! - Horrendous
- Verified traveler (8/5): Wedding visit - Went to wedding in the locality - grand for an overnight stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - found the staff very friendly, large 6ft bed, lovely breakfast. unfortunately I could not stay my second night as I had to leave before planned. hope they gave my room to the next person FREE as I had it paid for and they had ample opportunity to get it ready for someone else.
- john (2/5): bad experience - Room v cold and although I had booked via Internet I paid on checking out. Was charged for one night instead of two even though I queried this. Got call to say they undercharged. I called to hotel to pay but they tried to charge me more. Real Fawley Towers. Chef comes on duty at 7am but has to "get things warmed up" so realistically breakfast is at 7:15am. Not ideal. Never again. Claregalway hotel methinks in future
- Verified traveler (2/5): 2ND stay and 2ND mistake - we stayed Hereford one night last year and although disappointed at the time thought we would give the place another go......Never again!
The hotel is clean and well located, the staff are ok but nothing special. Although the internet is advertised as free good luck if you can log on.....it's a total joke. Building work was underway when we stayed, at night the corridor outside of the room was very loud. Breakfast was OK, coffee stone cold when brought to the table. Many better hotels to stay in the area so one of those next time I think......am writing this review at 00:05am and can still hear objects being moved.....ridiculous!!
- Sara (8/5): Suburban Hotel - Nice hotel, but just starting a remodel when I was there. The check in staff didn't do something correctly so it took an hour to sort out the pre-payment of my room when I tried to check out. Annoying as I was on a schedule for my travels today.
