• Gueudry (8/5): De passage à New York - Hôtel bien placé, proche du métro. On a apprécié d'avoir un coin cuisine pour y manger le soir. Nombreux magasins d'alimentation autour. Bien situé pour visiter NY sans trop dépenser. Rien dans l'hôtel tout était nickel. Par contre l'extérieur était pas terrible, saleté et bruyant après on est en ville....

• Kim Phung (9/5): - - Das Apartment war schön groß und die Küche auch gut ausgestattet - Es war sehr sauer - Die Lage an sich hat uns gut gefallen, vorallem in den Bars der Umgebung hatte man nicht nur lauter Touristen um sich. Die Ubahn ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, aber nicht sehr nah. - Die laute Heizung / Klimaanlage, aber das ist ja öfter so in den USA.

• Christiane (7/5): Schönes Familienzimmer - Sehr schönes großes Zimmer, auch zu viert (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder), Ausstattung der Küche war sehr gut, man hätte ohne Probleme kochen können! Die Lage zu Subway (ca.10 Minuten zu Fuß) war super. Direkt gegenüber ist ein kleiner Deli und Restauratns in der direkten Umgebung Personal war freundlich und wir wurden auch mehrfach gefragt, ob wir was benötigen. Im Allgemeinen kann man sagen, dass das Sanctuary NYC kein richtiges Hotel ist, eher eine Appartmentetage. Die Zimmer werden nicht täglich gereinigt und die Rezeption ist auch nur sehr selten besetzt! Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir würden es auch wieder buchen. Das Sofabett war sehr ausgelegen und macht bei jeder Bewegung laute Geräusche. Der Kühlschrank ist ebenfalls sehr laut, wir haben den Stecker einfach gezogen, da wir ihn nicht benötigt haben. Die Umgebung ist recht ruhig, aber die Nächte am Freitag und Samstag waren unheimlich laut, leider trotz geschlossener Fenster.

• Yann (9/5): Logement très confortable et bien placé - Séjour de 7 nuits très confortable dans une suite chambre plus cuisine, spacieuse, calme dans un quartier qui bouge et proche du Métro. Équipements de qualité. Nous avons été surpris et méfiants, à réception d'une notice informative avant notre arrivée, par la mise en avant de la méditation et autres programmes spirituels. Mais ces activités sont facultatives et nous avons pu faire notre programme touristique sans contraintes. Rien.....mais pour 7 nuits de séjour, le ménage aurait été apprécié en milieu de séjour. Les serviettes ont été changées à notre demande. Lors de l'arrivée nous découvrons la philosophie végétarienne de l'établissement (pas de cuisson de produits animaux), un peu stressant pour les omnivores que nous sommes !
• Gita (9/5): Es war eigentlich alles toll, Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Das Personal super nett, die Lage toll. - Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und geräumig. Wir hatten ein Beistellbett, welches aber leider Rollen hatte und sich bewegte. Vielleicht kann man diese einfach entfernen. Toller Balkon, geräumiges Bad und große Dusche. Mega Küche. Die Lage im Stadtteil ist toll, viele Restaurants und Bars, nette Leute. Die Balkontür hatte keine richtige Verdunklung und lies sich nicht gut schließen. Da es draußen sehr kalt war, hat es gezogen. Die Heizung war dann etwas laut, da sie immer anging um die Wärme zu halten. Aber das kann man bestimmt reparieren :)

Tiene una ubicación excelente, en un barrio tranquilo pero muy cerca de todo el downtown de Manhattan, lo que lo hace muy práctico para moverse. La zona en general es bastante movida, especialmente de noche, sobre todo en el trayecto desde el subte hasta el hotel, aunque la cuadra puntual donde está ubicado es más calma. La cocina impecable, con microondas, heladera y todo en perfectas condiciones, lo que suma mucho a la estadía Lo único a tener en cuenta es que la estación de subte más cercana queda a unas cinco cuadras. No es una distancia molesta para caminar, pero tampoco está tan inmediata.

• Fuertes (10/5): Muy recomendable por limpieza, tranquilidad, ubicación y comodidad. - Me gustó mucho el tamaño de la habitación y que tuviese una pequeña terraza con una mesa y sillas en donde pudimos cenar algún día. La cocina está muy bien equipada, ideal para preparar los desayunos y cenas. Es un lugar en donde te invitan a ser vegetariano, pero no pasa nada si cocinas o comes carne. La ropa de cama y de baño estaba super limpia y mullida. Cada 3 días se puede solicitar un cambio de sábanas y toallas sin coste adicional. Está situado en el Lower East Side de Manhattan en donde te sientes como un barrio con casas más bajas y buen ambiente. Además tienes supermercados, tiendas, y sitios para comer muy cerca como el famoso Katz's Deliccatessen y el Shake Shack. Muy seguro. La ubicación nos gustó porque estaba muy bien comunicado con el transporte público: linea directa de metro desde el aeropuerto JFK, a 4 paradas del distrito financiero, a 4 paradas del puente de Brooklyn. También habia buses desde la Primera avenida. Nada

Nice to have an apartment style place rather than a hotel. No private bedrooms in the suite - was a bit like a dormitory so not ideal for 4 adults. The king bed was too firm for my liking.

Buena atención por parte de la propietaria. Opción a dejar las maletas hasta más tarde. Faltan platos, vasos y cubiertos para tener una estancia cómoda. El sofá-cama se debe renovar: los muelles hacen mucho ruido y se hunde bastante. Más toallas y tener opción de tener un radiador toallero ya que una vez usadas no se secan para su próximo uso. Fregadero del baño suuuper pequeño para lavarse las manos, los dientes correctamente. Referente al momento de acceder al edificio tuvimos problemas ya que el código que se proporcionó no especificaba apretar el esterisco al final. Tenerlo en cuenta !

• Christine (7/5): Prima verblijf wanneer je geen hotel maar appartement met keukentje wilt. - Prima bedden, keukentje zodat t mogelijk was zelf een maaltijd te bereiden. De dame aan de receptie was erg aardig en behulpzaam. We vonden de buurt minder prettig. Ongeveer 10 minuutjes lopen naar de metro maar daar in de buurt best veel zwervers en wietrokers. Overdag nog wel oké maar ‘s avonds niet prettig.

Very spacious rooms Great out door patio We had an issue with the hot water in the shower one morning and the gas cooker would not work the previous evening. It was during the snowy weather too. Both were fixed but we did loose a bit of time with this. We were compensated for the inconvience which was much appreciated. We did not let it ruin our stay.

• Blanca (10/5): - Absolutament tot! És un lloc fantàstic! L'estudi és molt acollidor i bonic i els llits molt molt còmodes, et sents com a casa. El personal molt amable i t'ajuden en tot. El barri és una passada, botigues molt xules, restaurants boníssims, supermercats, pots trobar tot el que necessites i a més la parada de bus i metro estan molt a prop. Si tornem a Nova York repetirem segur i ho recomanarem! Hem estat molt a gust. Res, és perfecte!

The staff was very attentive (and flexible with my late arrival and departure) but gave me my space. A spacious apartment and very comfortable bed allowed me an opportunity to properly rest without the noise I expected from a big city. I cannot complain about anything. I really enjoyed my week in The East Village at Sanctuary Retreats. If I were to visit NY again, I’d choose to stay here. Top choice!
