- Culture54102658227 (10/5): Easy life, Easy trip - We chose to stay here because the accommodation is located right in the heart of Nimman, close to MAYA shopping mall, and it's very convenient for getting around. Finding a motorbike rental shop is also super easy. It's just a 10-minute drive from Tha Phae Gate. The room is very clean, and all the facilities are well-equipped. The 4K restaurant offers delicious food — a must-try is the Thai-style green curry beef served with Indian-style naan bread. The flavors go together perfectly and create a truly satisfying experience.

The breakfast is excellent, with a wide range of international dishes, and having breakfast by the pool is great. It is well located for the Maya centre, restaurants and banks.

Facilities are sufficient and well thought, love the balcony with clothing rack . However, there is one major issue , the inhouse WIFI is very unstable, it keeps dropping out and blackspot in certain corner of the hotel room, this need to be corrected. The pool is good size, but it is right next to the restaurant. so we cannot swim there during busy morning breakfast hours. There is a renovation going on , so we cannot swim when the constructions is in progress.

- JSM23 (2/5): Basic hotel and not a 4 star hotel. - - We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. I can only say it was 4 nights too long. - Arrived at the hotel, checking in was fast - Rooms are very basic (with a hostel feel). The rooms we were in had no soap, a broken safe, and a broken patio door that did not lock. When reported, they were all fixed pretty quickly. - The room has little storage space. - A view of the mountains does exit even if blocked by other surroundings. - Breakfast is pretty basic and has a small selection of continental items. The coffee was good. - There is a bar and restaurant at the venue. The drinks were not great but the food was actually not too bad! - The gum is small and some of the equipment did not work. - The WiFi worked at times, not all the time. - This is not a 4 star hotel. More lower 3. - I am travelling with a friend. It was my friend’s bday whilst we were there and so I got in touch with the hotel to arrange for cake, sparkling wine and a recommendation for restaurants. After waiting a day or so for a reply, they curtly told me they offered neither with no recommendations for special places to eat. They said they provided birthday amenities but didn’t expand on what when I asked what these were. They responded saying they would provide a birthday cake. What they meant by this, was that they would make a cake out of towels on the day! - Location is in Nimman and very close to Maya Shopping Centre and One Nimman. - Whilst it is closely located to the airport noise is a problem. - However, if you want a good nights peaceful sleep, this place is not it. Whilst the beds were comfortable, the overhead noise from the planes taking off from 7am to 2am at night. At times it felt like sleeping in an airfield or a runway. Aside for. The planes there was constant music, bikes and other activity. - If you are genuinely looking for a 4 star hotel, this is not it. It’s pretty basic and okay for 1 night if needed. The pictures make the hotel look better than it actually is and are a bit misleading.
- K1853FM_ (8/5): in General,it is a thumb up for me - My feeling for the Cross Vibe Hotel are mixed...it's a 4 star hotel..There are things i liked and things i didnt Like....But in the end the scale turns into the "Like" option....and let me be clear The things i liked: The Location{it's 6 minutes walk from the Maya Mall and Nimman Street}....That means good location (for me) The Quiet of the area{i loved it!!!it's very quiet in the night...Although i see many people in the hotel,it is quiet The Staff{One of the best service and politeness i see in Hotel's Staff} The Hotel has restaurant,swimming pool,bar and a little gym They clean everyday the room The view from the balcony of the room(Mountain view) The bathroom was nice decorated and the air-condition work smoothly Have safe box(that is stuck in wall),TV,A little desk,a little fridge,coffee maker,slippers,flashlight,hair dryer they write to me a welcome note.. And they have keycard for the rooms(in elevator you do not have to use keycard to go on the floors) 2 pillows and 1 smaller in bed Hot water anytime in shower The Things i didnt Liked: The matress was very soft (for my taste) and i had a little trouble sleeping Also the pillows very soft The pressure of the water not hard(in shower) The pressure of the water very low on cleaning your bottom after poo-poo(i felt that i was not clean at all!!) The wifi Terrible!!!One of the worst i had in Thailand!!!they must see that problem!!! No closet(just hangers in a pole) Also,when you get out of the elevator(in your floor)to go into your room ,it is open area(to tell you the truth this was strange to me) the swimming pool was on the Ground floor...also the gym...usually the swimming pool is on the roof....but here is on the Ground floor(near to reception)..that means no sun....it was always shadow in swimming pool...i have never seen anyone swim there!! - kirstinm412 (8/5): Good hotel - Good location and staff, pretty busy area. We had a view of the mountains that were lovely. Breakfast was included, close to Maya shopping centre. We would stay there again. We would have liked more help with tours from the front desk but other than that was a nice hotel
- Hiroshi (6/5): - The hotel is right beside the highway if you a light sleeper - fully not recommended. The hotel offers bicycle to rent for free ; it’s night to get around places (however the bikes are a bit torned up, gotta be careful if you aren’t a good cycler.

Our view wasn’t great but the hotel itself was in a good position to get to places, hotel has smoking area by the bar. Good breakfast. Everything you need at the hotel for a few nights stay.

Even did not have the room as booked Insist that must write again in special request and must call to confirm room type again before staying. It's very non sense. Room is clean. Small fitness and swimming pool. Overall it's OK. Better for eat and shopping if you stay on Nimman hemmin.

The room door was not sound proof so it was noisy from other hotel guests walking, shouting. Breakfast is okay not particularly great.

The door has no hinge to avoid slamming, you will be awake in the early morning when people start to check out. The pool is on the ground floor and it is so close to the room with a tall wall to reflect the noice of those kids who play around to ensure you have no sleep in the morning. Sorry I won’t be coming again.

Anyway, we didnt hear anything at night apart from in the morning when kids were awake. But we are okay not bad. I love the fact that it has small kitchen and living room seperated from the bedroom. Generally. It is a Nice hotel and not far from Nimman road.
- Paul (8/5): Was OK, - Please be aware that they are doing major roadworks outside of hotel (May 2018), I would check to see if they are complete before you book, I had to walk through mud and massive puddles to get to hotel. Overall the hotel is nice modern and clean, is cheap basic furniture, there was not much storage for items and a open wardrobe. The bed was comfortable but my shower was a massive let down, lukewarm water and the shower was not very powerful. Would have rather a nice shower than a fancy looking bathroom. The cleaning was a bit sporadic and done at random times I had the cleaners smashing down my door while I was asleep at 8am in morning, I didn't have my do not disturb card up but I also didn't have my clean the room card up either!! The swimming pool is small and mainly in shade, they only have four sun beds, I also felt uncomfortable as next door to pool was the restaurant, so you feel like you are being overlooked upon. The location of hotel is good with lots of the better parts of Chaing Mai close by. Would I stay here again!? maybe for one night but that would be it

- Emma (4/5): I would go to another hotel as food is poor - We stayed at this hotel as it was close to one of the temples we wanted to see. The hotel is modern and relatively clean. The welcome fruit and drinks was a nice touch as we were really hot when we arrived. We also got a cold towel. The problem is the food. We had lunch here and it was the worst food we have had all holiday. We are at the street vendors behind the hotel, these were amazing and a lot cheaper. The menu we got was limited at the hotel. I asked for pineapple rice with prawn. It came as chicken and wasn't as described (served in a pineapple) there was also some weird hairy stuff on top. I assume is some sort of spice. Well it came with chicken so I sent it back and said it should be prawn. When it came back 5 mins later with the most anemic prawns i ate 2 and gave the others a miss. Then they tried to over charge as they had a deal on for a free drink. The service was so slow and there were only 2 tables in. I also had to wait for my partner to get served his main meal after mine. Which was a further 5-10 minutes after I got mine. We also struggled to sleep as the door/walls were so thin. People talking was so loud and we didn't sleep well for the 2 days we spent here.

- Nancy (8/5): Great Hotel just don't use the concierge's desk. - The hotel was very nice and the room layout was very modern and nice. The only downside was the concierge's desk that sold us an all day private tour from Jeff's tours that ended up being a shopping tour to very high end stores. We thought we were able to go where we wanted but that was not the case. I would avoid this trap and book your excursions elsewhere.

The pressure in the shower would change from hot to cold in a matter of seconds - got burnt a few times. Advised management but nothing was done about it.

Safe did not work and when repair man reset it he told us we could only use the number 1234 he put in as the code. That was a first in all my travels.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Two nights in Chiang Mai - Great service, the staff is extrememely helpful and friendly. I stayed in the "new building." I upgraded to a one bedroom residence. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
- deb (10/5): New, modern hotel, a bit noisey though - X2 vibe is a very clean new hotel located close to maya shopping centre. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Our room was cleaned daily, had a nice view of the pool. This hotel was awesome value for money, keep in mind location from old town as it is a fair walk. The traffic can be quite noisey at night and never seems to stop as the hotel is set back from a main road. The only thing that let our stay down was the noise from the corridors and other rooms. Being that the hotel is made from concrete and tiles all the noise seems to bounce off the walls and can be quite loud. Other than that we had a great weeks stay here, would definitely recommend.

Very disappointing. - Great breakfast, nice breakfast staff. - Reason I won't go back or recommend it: we rented a motorbike, parked it for the night, came back to hours later and it was moved... fine, picked it up and moved to a safer place. Next morning needed to return the bike, couldn't find the keys. Tore apart or laundry, traced footsteps and it hit me. Went down to the lobby asked if they "found our keys," nope. Then changed my view and told them they moved it and they had the keys. Sure enough when I told them they had the keys, they magically appeared right in front of them, literally in the front desk. They went into our room (which was already cleaned earlier so they had no reason to come) and took our keys and moved the bike. They had no intent of telling us they had the keys or returning them. Who knows what would've happen if I didn't change my position of telling them they had my keys or how much they would've made from us "losing our keys." They also lost a couples laundry while we were there and it took 20 minutes for us to check out.
