Excellent endroit - la décoration dans les espaces communs est magnifique et très travaillé - un vrai bijoux - le petit dej était parfait - le repas était bon - Dominique et les équipes sont très présentes et gentilles - on se sent très bien - il y a une forte odeur d’égout dans les toilettes/salle de bain - la salle de bain pourrait être vraiment mieux entretenue , beaucoup de moisissures.. cela pourrait être plus charmant si c’était du carrelage dans la douche car la c était pas très jolie à cause de la moisissure - un peu plus généreux sur les bouteilles d’eau - cela peut être un peu bruyant quand y a un groupe qui mange dans le hall (mais c’est le problème des vieilles maisons restaurés, on aime le charme mais ça peut avoir des inconvénients)

• Azadeh (9/5): Authentic Riad, with beautiful decore in the heart of Medina - We loved the architecture, it was very authentic, maybe even a bit overwhelming. We loved the staff, specially the 2 riad managers. The breakfast was also delicious. Location, it's hard to say, Fes is a very windy place, so it's hard to get lost and disoriented, but the riad was central for sure, in the heart of medina. We arrived passed midnight, due to our flight, and it was very nice that someone met us outside of the medina to walk us to the riad (taxis cannot get there). But then when we arrived, almost at 1 AM, the riad was in absolute darkness. Not a single light. And because it was a very old an authentic building (which is a bonus), it felt a bit scary at first. And it was hard to find our rooms or even the switches, to turn lights on. Would have been nice if at least 1 light was left ON for us, knowing we will arrive late. The other issue is that the bathrooms need a bit of a renovation. There was mold at the bottom of showers (and we saw 3 rooms and they were all like this). But other than these 2 issues, it's a real beautiful and authentic place. Watch out if you have mobility issues, upper floors are pretty steep to get to, so book a room on the ground floor.

Lo staff merita una menzione speciale: Latifa è di una gentilezza rara, sempre attenta e disponibile; Abdhul è preciso, affidabile e pronto ad aiutare in qualsiasi momento; la proprietaria Dominic tiene il riad con una cura che si vede in ogni dettaglio e fa sentire subito a casa. La nostra stanza era splendida: ampia, pulita, curata e arredata con gusto autentico. Si dorme bene, c’è silenzio e l’atmosfera è esattamente quella che ci si aspetta da un riad tradizionale di qualità. Le colazioni sono ricche, fresche e varie, con prodotti locali preparati al momento. Ogni giorno un assaggio diverso, tutto buonissimo. Un posto in cui torneremmo senza esitazione. Perfetto per vivere Fès nel modo giusto.

The location is in the midst of the old city and all the shops.... but it is kinda of scary at night 🌙when all the shops have closed trying to find your way to the Riad. Its like a maze. Room - great AC mattress shower. The location was great for seeing the Medina but as with all Riads the walk to it was difficult for some of our party. The alleys get cleaned during the night so best to arrive earlier in the day.

Un seul petit bémol, c est parfois un peu l'odeur des tanneurs , selon les vents lorsque l'on est sur la terrasse . Pas de odeur dans le riad .

• MR-Mac (9/5): Eine Oase inmitten der Medina – absolut empfehlenswert! - Das Riad ist einfach wunderschön und liegt mitten im Herzen der Medina – ein echtes Juwel! Die Anreise ist ein kleines Abenteuer: Der nächstgelegene Parkplatz befindet sich bei Zawia Shaykh Ali Al Jamal. Von dort sind es etwa 900 Meter bis zum Riad, größtenteils durch die verwinkelten Souks. Man sollte auf keinen Fall zu spät ankommen, denn es ist leicht, sich zu verlaufen. Uns hat zum Glück ein freundlicher Kofferträger geholfen. Er hatte sogar einen Parkplatz für uns (20 Dirham) und hat unsere Koffer mit seinem Wagen bis zum Riad gebracht – dafür haben wir ihm gern 50 Dirham gegeben. Ohne ihn hätten wir den Weg wahrscheinlich nicht gefunden. Das Riad selbst ist einfach traumhaft. Die Lage ist top, das Ambiente einmalig – und das Frühstück war richtig lecker. Wer ein authentisches Erlebnis in der Medina sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

• Claire (9/5): Feel like Royalty - The Riad is stunning, its decor is beautifully curated...and it is a little heaven of peace in the middle of the Medina. It is definitely one of the most beautiful Riads we stayed at during our one month in Morocco - with the most spacious suite. The host and staff are welcoming and always ready to cater to their guests' needs. We had a difficult time finding the Riad - and that day their phone was malfunctioning. I suggest you arrange ahead of time for someone to meet you in the parking lot which is about 800 meters from the Riad. Big luggage is not recommended.

You need to go through many small narrow streets to get to it, I would recommend this if you are going in a group or at least with a friend. If i had gone alone, I would have felt scared to walk by myself to find it. The rooftop patio was also very beautiful!

Staff was welcoming, friendly, and always willing to assist us with whatever we needed. (Which is big big plus) The rooftop terrace is the perfect place where to relax and enjoy a refreshment after a day of walking the streets. My husband and I had a wonderful time in this palais des Mille et une nuits. All was great
• Antony (8/5): Upmarket Riad - A superb riad situated on the edge of the medina and very close to the tanneries. Comfort and cleanliness was exceptional. Breakfast was simple and very tasty. The riad has a wonderful roof terrace to relax. Owner and staff were very hospitable and we were made to feel very welcome. We did not use the riad facilities for evening meals or drinks as they appeared to be quite expensive compared to other places nearby
• Verified traveler (8/5): Gem in Fes - Service at the Riad was great. Special thanks to Latifa, Yousef and Abdou for making our stay so pleasant. Rooms were in great shape and had the little touches that showed great taste. For our departure Latifa and Dominique went out of their way to ensure our tour guide picked us up from the parking lot closest to the Riad. The location of the Riad is approximately 15-20 minutes away from the parking lot so getting to/from the Riad with luggage in tow is difficult and ended up being frustrating for us. Overall beautiful Riad with a lovely rooftop.

• Grace (10/5): Don't stay anywhere except a riad to experience the beauty of Morocco - Mohammad himself was reason enough to stay there. He met every need with quiet competence and a smile. The riad itself is beautiful inside, and we were sorry we did not take advantage of having a home-cooked dinner there. Also, we arrived at nearly midnight on a Ryanair flight from Spain. They accommodated our late arrival with a driver meeting us at the airport (waiting 3 hours!) and taking us to the medina gate, where he ensured that a porter met us and took us to them. Our first room on the ground floor had floor-to-ceiling windows, which for privacy had heavy curtains shutting out the morning light. There are other rooms that are quite dark too - all riads have this problem due to their layout. However, they were able to move us to a beautiful well-lit room on a higher floor.

Otherwise u ll run in to lot of scammers on the way. Staff is friendly and really helpful. Dinner was nice Felt place is too enclosed. Breakfast is not satisfactory. Difficult to find the place. We actually change the place after staying for one day cos we didn’t feel safe to go there due to so many scammers on the way.

• Muhsin (10/5): Can't wait to get back to Fez and stay in this wonderful Riad - Staying in Riad Kettani in Fez is one of the highlight of our first trip to Marroco...We cannot speak highly enough of Latifah (Hotel Manager) and her team. Very friendly and helpful, she really does make us feel at home (only in a much more beaitiful house than ours :-)), from the home made meal, "emergency" laundry, help with unreserved late night dinner, ...you name it, Latifah has all the solution for us ! The Riad itself is beautiful, spacious, quite but full of history and character. The direction to the Riad within the. old madina is also plenty. Defenitely recommended
• Naem (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed at Riad Fes Kettani for the Christmas holidays with my family and it exceeded all expectations. This is by far the best Riad in the medina with the most beautiful and palace-like interior. There is such a warm atmosphere and it feels as if you are being welcomed into a friend’s home. In particular Latifa, Abdul and yusuf were incredibly hospitable and tended to our every need. Latifa’s twin girls Sofia & Inez were so sweet and kept us very entertained with their drawings and even giving us all gifts before we left! We looked forward to the traditional Moroccan breakfast every morning in the beautiful courtyard of the riad and even enjoyed an extraordinary 3 course meal for dinner. The facility are great, including the beautiful rooftop balcony area from which you can see incredible views of the medina. Thank you to all the staff for such a homely welcome and a lovely stay, we will definitely be back!
• Olivia (10/5): Authentic Moroccan experience in a luxurious riad - Our stay at the property made us feel the true Moroccan experience - the riad is amazing, luxurious, impressive in an authentic style. The staff are soooo welcoming and friendly, it was an absolute pleasure to speak with them. Breakfast was great. There was notjing I did not like about our stay.

• Rebecca (10/5): Fantastic Riad with great food and incredible staff - Riad Fes Kettani was an absolute gem. Fantastic staff (especially Latifa), beautiful and spacious room that felt like staying in a palace, incredible food, great rooftop, and great location. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back when we return to Fes. Only challenge was finding the Riad at night, so suggest accepting the riad’s offer to have someone meet you outside the medina on arrival and take you to the Riad.
• Alina (10/5): - it was like living in a palace! Beautiful place, amazingly welcoming staff. The riad is also very conveniently located close to main attraction points, dining, and parking area. Note: there are narrow alleyways throughout the medina, so no cars can pass through, but you can call the riad and they will arrange a porter to help you with the luggage.
• Anna (10/5): - Very nice Riad about 4 mins walk to a parking area where you can get taxi. However, close to everything, literally 1 min walk to most famous tannery in the Médina. What made our stay special was the staff, specially Latifa. After exhausting days of walking in the Médina we would be greeted with tea. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

• David (10/5): Beautiful riad. Good value for money. Highly recommended. - A beautiful riad right inside the medina with comfortable air-conditioned rooms with authentic Moroccan furnishings. It's quiet, the staff are very helpful and obliging, and the food is superb - the best I ate in Morocco. I will definitely stay there again on any future visit to Fes. The riad is not easy to find but that's not a big issue because the staff will meet you outside the medina and take your bags to the riad - about a 10 mins walk through the old streets. To me that was all part of the experience of staying in the old town, so I wouldn't really categorise it as something I didn't like.

• Khan (1/5): Terrible - Terrible host and terrible staff. No help or service at all. They did nothing to make the stay comfortable. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but checked out the next day because it was so bad. Learn some manners and etiquettes of hospitality.
