Perhaps sooner than later :) Maybe have some space inside the bedroom to organize your belongings. (It was very nice to have a sitting option in the bedroom tho).

• GRAFF (10/5): Petit séjour se transforme en long séjour... - Je suis venu passer quelques jours un peu hors saison (novembre) à Canggu et voulais un logement calme et propre. J'ai choisi Umala un peu à l'écart et j'ai voulu essayer Apartments Umala pour mes premières nuits. Quitte à changer. Finalement je suis resté pendant toute la durée de mon séjour. C'est calme, le personnel est très serviable et souriant (comme souvent) c'est hors des grands axes donc calme. Plusieurs piscines permettent de se prélasser entre deux activités. Le wifi est bon pour ceux qui veulent travailler et il y a de quoi garer son scooter à l'entrée de l'établissement. L'ensemble est bien entretenu. Rien n'est problématique à Appartment Umalas. Il est toujours possible d'améliorer les services et les équipements, comme le petit frigo, les bruits de clim lors des grandes chaleurs, l'isolation phonique... des "détails". Mais c'est un super établissement où je reviendrai avec plaisir.

Et je reviendrai. - Un Établissement très calme, la proximité de la piscine, le personnel adorable , une petite cuisine simple, mais très pratique même si ça s’arrête à 15h. Peut-être qu’il faudrait reprendre quelques détails comme par exemple : remettre les prises droites, lessiver quelques murs, reprendre la peinture noire qui s’effiloche dans la salle de bain. Invisible sur les photos, mais totalement possible par rapport au prix de la location.

• Ozan (10/5): Lovely place! - The location is great, you can go to Canggu and Seminyak really quick. Its very clean, the pools are nice, its a really calm place, and the staff is great! There was a little construction during my visit, but it didnt bother me at all, they didnt make much noise. Actually nothing. A chair inside my room would be handy in some times.

• Andrew (9/5): Quiet, relaxed, restful - Felt like we had the place to ourselves, maybe because of it being low season (May). Staff were very helpful yet unobtrusive. Great that the restaurant closed in the evening to avoid associated noise, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, a new one at the end of the gang, 100m stroll. Really nice, well kept gardens and pools. Breakfast menu was a little limited but the local dishes, nasi & mie goreng, were very good. Also the ginger and lime cooler was a great welcome drink after a long journey .

• Greig (8/5): Clean, quiet, beautiful but with unusable internet. - Staff The Wi-Fi at the hotel was notably subpar, with speeds averaging only 10 Mbps, which is insufficient for the entire property. The current network infrastructure seems unable to handle the number of devices connected. Upgrading to a modern Wi-Fi mesh network or considering alternatives like Starlink, if adequate fiber connections are not available, would significantly enhance the guest experience. During my previous stay in 2018, I also encountered issues with the Wi-Fi and even conducted a signal strength analysis in my room. As a network engineer, reliable internet connectivity is crucial, and the ongoing issues are quite frustrating. Improving the internet connectivity would greatly elevate the hotel's status as one of the best places to stay on the island.

Could not not even view a YouTube clip. Not up standard. Must be fixed before I stay agsin. The property was very quiet and the garden pools area really nice, perfect to relax. We didn't try the food as we were meeting friends out etc. and the restaurant didn't seem open. The area is not the busiest which is nice but also not a lot within walking distance - small convenience store, a tiny cafe (Umalas Brew, good coffee) if you need and one spa/restaurant only. But there's a lot only a short ride away!

We stayed in 2 double beds room, the bathroom is on the downstairs(B1), don’t like the design of black color wall, it really attracts mosquito coming, and there is really hot and high humidity after taking bath and doing routing care inside. Especially, you can not open the door, or the bunch of mosquitoes will come inside, the only thing you can do is stay inside and close the door . No any exhaust equipment is really terrible. Besides, there is some place with spiders net. Is still showed up there, even I told some staff. I tried to ignore it, but it just on the side of tap. Can not pretending there has nothing….

• Erin (10/5): Loved our stay at The Apartments Umalas. Booked accomodation at late notice for new year and we were not disappointed. - Loved the aesthetic of the accomodation. The pool and rooms are beautiful. A little further from central Canggu or Seminyak - but easy transport via scooter to both.
• Lisbel (7/5): It’s okay - I liked the location because it’s close to canggu but not in the crazy side with traffic. It’s close to a good restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s also close to pharmacies and grocery stores. The staff was really nice and helpful. The pool set up is nice, you can tan and you have cabanas. I didn’t like that for 3 days we didn’t have hot water and it took a whole day for it to be fixed once we notified it. The sink was also leaking even after we notified it. I don’t think it’s a bad stay it’s just not what I was looking for because the room set up lacks privacy. You either choose sunlight inside your room or privacy because all rooms face each-other.

The garden Is a hidden oasis close to all yet calm and private. Highly recommend Shame we had construction work waking us up every morning. Made it difficult to get our toddler down for his nap during the daytime.

I found it strange that the rooms face towards each other so you don't have any privacy with your curtains open and it is very dark in the room with them closed. The bed and pillows were okay but not the most comfortable.

• Claire (6/5): Umalas to the rescue, - Loved the service from your staff, from all levels from security right down to the cooks, cleaners, and gardeners to the front counter, Extremely friendly, and always willing to help, my stay in Canggu started off on a very low note where my accommodation and service did not meet my standards and was extremely appalling and I was literally was with booking.com almost every 5 minutes, I was extremely stressed and had to find an accommodation LAST MINUTE and suddenly and you guys came through, tremendously. From the minute I booked to checking in to sleeping to the peace that I felt being in a nice, clean room that had running water, you guys are amazing. Also your massage services " Top tier" can't recommend" karnala ., kornalla I think that's her name enough. Restaurants and coffee shops arent too far of a walk away otherwise just rent a scooter, I wasn't brave enough for that, but managed to get by The wifi could definitely be upgraded as per previous comments I was at the end of the room and the rooster and cats, dogs and every animal could be heard, luckily staff did move me to a different room but I'd imagine if there had been no room available it would have made my stay very uncomfortable, because you cant even sleep. Felt like I was on a farm, rather than an apartment, For some weird reason, I also informed the staff about this, I could hear the showers and toilet noise from my neighbor through the walls, it was unlucky for me because these guys next door were showering for about 30 minutes in the middle of the night so my sleeping pattern was slightly disrupted, but it was quiet for the most part, I would say this is more of an inconvenience because imagine if you can hear the showers what else you could possibly hear, Also, I'd recommend maybe having more drinks such as wine/ beer, or coffee available later on, not only limited to certain hours would be nice to enjoy and stay within the complex as there were times when I felt like having a glass of wine, not a bottle, as that is what you offer, or having a cup of coffee past 4 pm available or even having dinner, since the restaurant closes at 4 pm.

What I booked is exactly what I got, I personally love the location; it's in a quiet area but not too far from everything. I can rest peacefully when Canggu/Seminyak's busyness overwhelms me! The Apartments Umalas was my slice of Heaven, and I will definitely come back! I love the openness/the view of my unit, but I wish it could be more secluded/covered somehow for privacy; I feel a bit exposed.

• Ilaria (10/5): excellent comfort - the size of the room was bigger than I expected. The staff is very friendly and helpful with all our questions . The pool area and garden is huge, there are so many instagram friendly spots. They even have 3 big size pools to choose from , all with sun beds and lounge areas . The breakfast is abundant, we could not finish it all. Wifi si working well . If we wanted to chill in the room, Tv also had all the channels.The beds and mattress are very comfortable I was pleasantly surprised from this place and I could not have asked for more. In the night we could enjoy the pool area all by ourselves. nothing to complain
