• Robbie (10/5): Fantastische vakantie gehad, super verblijf.. we komen zeker terug - We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in dit hotel en waren bijzonder tevreden over de uitstekende ligging, waardoor alles makkelijk te voet bereikbaar was. Het eten was zeer gevarieerd en lekker, het personeel uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en onze kamer 422 bood bovendien een prachtig uitzicht. Een speciale dank aan de schoonmaakdame voor de dagelijkse piekfijne netheid van de kamer. Een dikke merci aan het volledige team voor de warme service! internet

Friendly staff. Within walking distance to the dunes and the beach and the center (to Yumbo 1200m). Bad wifi in the room - not possible to use it. Designer doors to the bathroom and toilet made of heavy glass - very difficult to manipulate, they cannot be closed and everything can be heard.

• Claudia (8/5): Hôtel correspondant à presque toutes nos attentes - Le vue est splendide si vous prenez une chambre au 4ème. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et varié. Bien assez de chaises longues autour de la piscine. Accès par les dunes à la plage aménagée en 10 minutes. Nous n’avons pas aimé le lit double qui était composé de deux lits simples qui se séparaient à chaque mouvement car sur roulettes. De plus, pour le prix de la chambre , ils pourraient offrir une bouteille d’eau par jour, voir deux.

• Juergen (4/5): Bist einfach nur ne Nummer - Die Lage ist perfekt Wir fühlten uns noch nie so unerwünscht, wie in diesem Hotel. Alles ist Masse, Schnellabfertigung und der nächste Bitte. Das fängt mit dem Check-In an, geht über die Kellner im Restaurant die drängeln bis hin zur Putzfee, die morgens mehrmals (!) klopft um Aufzuräumen. NIE mehr in diesem unfreundlichen Hotel.

• Marion (8/5): Gehobenes, ruhiges Hotel an den Dünen - Kostenloses Upgrade auf ein höher gelegenes Zimmer, von welchem man nicht nur den Pool und den Garten, sondern bis über die Dünen zum Meer schauen konnte (3. Etage). Reichhaltiges Frühstück und variierendes vielfältiges Abendbuffet (Halbpension), Kostenlose große Leihbadetücher für den Pool. Liegen recht problemlos zu bekommen, da reservieren nicht erlaubt war. Toiletten in Poolnähe (Keller) und Parterre, wo auch Bar und Restaurant lagen, abends teilweise Solo-Musiker zur Unterhaltung, Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer wurden immer wieder aufgefüllt, zweimal Bademäntel und Puschen pro Suite, Safe kostenlos, tolle Dünen hinterm Hotel konnten durch spezielle Hoteltüren direkt erreicht werden (mit Zimmerkarte), in der Nähe, aber weit genug entfernt, gab es Geschäfte und Restaurants in Strandnähe, teilweise mit Tanzmusik, TV-Sender in mehreren Sprachen verfügbar (ES-EN-FR-DE-NL-IT), bei Anreise Sektempfang und pro Person eine Flasche Wasser im Kühlschrank. Putzmittel im Zimmer roch ganz schlimm. Nachdem wir einen Zettel auf Spanisch geschrieben hatten, wurde auf unseren Wunsch hin auch einmal das Mittel nicht verwendet. Keine besonderen Einrichtungen für Kinder, nur Babypool für Nichtschwimmer. Die anderen Kinder konnten im "Erwachsenen-Pool" schwimmen. Durch die Dünen war alles ständig irgendwie sandig. Das Reinigungsteam hat viel Zeit aufgewendet, alles sauber zu halten. Durch die halboffene Dusche wurde der Bereich davor immer ziemlich überflutet (Brause + Regendusche), Türen zum Bad und abgeteilten Klo waren schwere Glas-Schiebetüren, die oft ziemlich schwergängig waren. Leider, wie in fast allen Hotels, kein richtiges Dreibettzimmer, sondern nur Doppelbett und Schlafsofa, welches die eigentliche Sofaecke in der Suite verkleinert und eine Person quasi immer auf dem gemachten dritten Bett sitzen muss. Im Bad oder Zimmer könnte es mehr Trockenmöglichkeiten (Stangen) für Badehandtücher geben, weil diese an den Haken überhaupt nicht trocken werden wollen. Eine kleine Ablage beim Klo wäre toll (für feuchtes Toilettenpapier oder Eratzrollen).

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage, man ist direkt in den Dünen. Das Hotel hat keine eigenen Parkplätze!! Es gibt einen öffentlichen Parkplatz vor dem Hotel - man muss aber bedenken dass der Strand sehr voll ist und meist alle Parkplätze belegt sind.

Staff in the hotel is really nice and helpful. Double bed is basically two single beds joined together. Not ideal as the beds move.

Ein sehr schönes, super sauberes Haus mit großen, allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Zimmern. Super schöner und entspannter Poolbereich. Essen sehr gut und lecker, immer frisch und in reichhaltiger Auswahl. Sehr bemüht uns Gästen ein schönes Weihnachtliches Angebot zu bereiten. Insgesamt schon recht teuer, in ähnlichen Hotels wie RIU Palace hochwertigeres Essen.

• Saji Sadasivan (9/5): One of the best hotels we stayed ... - Everything was good , massive room with balcany to the size of a 2 bed flat, one of the best loactions situated close the beach and back of sand dunes so nice. A reason why this hotel is mostly fully booked. BF & dinners lot of varieties nice pool etc.. Main entrace access access area is fully marbled , and always wet and a trip hazard for guests. Could have been laid rough / sliprest stones / tiles. It will be fantastic if they build more floors upsatairs and better views for gusts.

Über die Tage immer wieder instabiles WLAN (Verbindung langsam oder geht gar nicht), Raucher auf anderen Balkonen deren Rauch sich in die Zimmer der Nachbarn zieht.

• Hella (10/5): Eine top-gepflegte Oase für Erholungssuchende am Rande des Naturschutzgebietes - Wir waren zum wiederholten Mal dort - aus Überzeugung. Und sind immer noch fasziniert von der Lage, dem traumhaften Blick über die Dünen, der abwechslungsreichen und vielfältigen Küche sowie dem immer freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Das gesamte Personal, von der Rezeption bis zum Zimmerservive ist fantastisch. Nichts zu bemängeln am Hotel. Aber: Dieses Jahr mißfiel uns der dröhnende Flugzeuglärm von den Trasnportfliegern für die Paraglidern mit 4-5 mal am Tag für jeweils ca 30 Min. ziemlich. Es könnten wirklich leisere Maschinen eingesetzt werden.

• Elisabeth (8/5): Schönes Hotel in den Dünen - Die Anlage war sehr schön, die Zimmer sehr groß mit Meer-und Dünenblick, das Badezimmer war auch geräumig. Am Pool gab es genügend Liegemöglichkeiten, der Pool war auch erfrischend. Das Frühstücksangebot war vielfältig und qualitativ hochwertig. Leider war das A-La-carte Abendrestaurant aufgrund von Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen, was leider auch mit einer Lärmbelästigung beim Pool, Frühstück und beim 2 Mal wöchentlich angebotenem Yoga verbunden war.

Eine Sauna in einem 4 Sterne Hotel müsste offen sein. Gerade an dem Tag als es regnete wollten wir in die Sauna. Dann hiess es gehe nicht man müsse reservieren… und gehe erst wider in 2 Tagen..,

• Markus (10/5): Eine wunderbare Anlage, rundum Empfehlenswert - Perfekte Lage, an den Dünen von Playa del Ingles, mit einer mega Aussicht auf das Meer und doch sehr nahe zum Zentrum Der Raucherbereich könnte man ein wenig schöner und gemütlicher gestalten.

Die ganze Anlage war äuserst sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut. Direkt bei den Dünen und für cafes und restaurants ist es auch nicht weit. Komme sehr gerne wieder.

• LEILA (10/5): Descanso y relax - El hotel está ubicado en un lugar maravillosos con vistas a las dunas y el mar. Es un lugar tranquilo y bien conservado con habitaciones luminosas, camas cómodas y muy limpio. La comida es variada, abundante y de buena calidad con fruta y verduras frescas cada día. El personal destaca por su amabilidad y educación, siempre intentando ayudar. Mención especial a nuestra camarera de piso Judit. Excelente para desconectar, descansar y disfrutar. El servicio de masajes un 10. Repetiremos! Me gustó todo! Por decir alo se echa de menos poder ver alguna plataforma en la TV.

Cleanliness in the hotel, in the room, by the pool is the reference one. Well-detailed details, for example, after returning from the dunes special taps for rinsing feet. Most importantly, however, the staff: friendly, helpful, relational. This stay was important to us for reasons other than sightseeing or tourism only. The staff did more than cool professionalism to make us remember it that way - Thank you. Very good and varied food. Cameral atmosphere. Big parking plot for the cars near by. 3 min by walk to the shop and restaurant center on the beach. A somewhat small dining room. Demographics of the hotel for the most part rather 60+, for that everywhere peace and blissful silence. End of the day, these are minor matters...

For those who enjoy staying active, the gym is excellent, and the sauna is a real highlight—free, hot, and offering breathtaking views of the dunes and the sea. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and in the evening, a talented woman sings beautifully, adding to the charming atmosphere. Honestly, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience! -

We had arranged to give him a really good tip on our last day, but unfortunately he apparently had the day off. The breakfast was equally amazing, with a fantastic selection of anything you think of! • Stephan (9/5): Great place to stay!! - Great hotel, lovely staff, superb location, outstanding breakfast buffet in the morning, direct access to the dunes, super clean and welp maintained. The wifi is shaky at least. Sometimes even completely useless. I used my data mostly. Which is not a problem but in the room You hardly any reception. beds slide apart.
• Charlotte (8/5): Lovely hotel great food- beds split down the middle - Location was good -smart and professional looking place. Not run down it was a very good condition place. Breakfast was good with a massive selection of choice. Evening meals also had a large selection of choice with tasty food. Pool was nice . Access to sand dunes was great being able to go straight out from the hotel. Free parking outside the hotel- we never had a issue finding parking spaces. Short walk to the restaurant area promenade- loads of good choice. Rooms were clean - nice large shower . Air conditioning in the room was good never had any mosquitoes. The beds were single beds pushed together but not connected- they were on wheels which meant they kept moving apart easily. We ended up tying them together with our belt to stop one of us falling through the gap. Waiters were too quick to take away plates- often we went up to get more food and they cleared the table away which we were still eating .one time they asked us to move tables because they wanted to set it up for breakfast. The reception team were quite rude . Once when we thought we had half board and didn’t - honest mistake- they rang the room hassled us as if were were gunna do a runner on our first night there. Quite rude to talk when trying to sort it out. We then witnessed Maria Elenor on the reception desk shouting at a German lady when she tried to speak English - shouting at her and the things she said was totally unacceptable
• Kai-uwe (10/5): Luxury stay with great views of the dunes - This newly renovated hotel is located directly by the dunes of Maspalomas. It is in 5 mins walking distance to the beach promenade and the Cita shopping center. The rooms are modern and spacious, the pool deck is spacious and the buffet breakfast amazing. There is also a quite well equipped gym/ fitness area. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We got a free upgrade to the 5th floor with the best rooms and views, a nice suprise! There is not much we did not like. I am not a big sun deck person so I would have preferred more shade through palm trees there but I think the majority of guests prefer direct sun - there are plenty of sun beds. In the top floor rooms there are Nespresso coffee makers which is nice. Considering the upscale service level of the hotel I would recommend providing one free refill of the capsules per day. Less fancy hotels do that, it would be just the icing on the cake for the Santa Monica.
• Selim (10/5): More than perfect! - We are hotel guys, but I think we have never stayed at a hotel like this. It was fascinating! The view, the facilities, generous staff, highly satisfying breakfast.
• Leo (9/5): Excellent hotel - Location was excellent. Staff efficient and friendly without being intrusive. Food was great. Good value for money. The pillows on the beds were too few and too hard. There should be an option for a double bed instead of two singles pushed together.

• Yulia (4/5): very poor value for money - property is located very close to beautiful dunes , which is unique , though road to the beach is too far, and after few days we were tired of it. staff and in restaurant is smiling and very attentive food is ok ( but not delicious) rooms are spacious, but beds are uncomfortable in fact it’s not one bed but 2 beds, pillows are huge . curtains are not blackout , so your room is full of light in the morning and in the night because of illumination. reception - passive aggressive woman was meeting us and charged us fee for our son, though he sleeps with us . extra charge is not problem but the way she presented it , very arrogant. everything was very expensive in the hotel sauna is accessible , but doesn’t make any sense - it’s in spa without pool, and no access to general pool lastly, there is no vibe in this place. silence near pool, not even music! we felt like every word we say is heard by neighbor you feel like we were in aquarium , they are no zones to be near swimming pool with trees or shade. Zone of restaurants nearby is ugly touristy, for cheap German tourists . everything was not changed from 90s, we are now in San Agustin, and it’s so much better
• Adriano (10/5): Exceptional - All new and always clean, the best position possible location to enjoy the Maspalomas dunes! Just beware that the beach in front is for nudists Two 1.5 place beds instead of a king size, but it was advertised in this way
• Olga (8/5): Perfect place for chill and relax. - Close to the beach, calm and silent surrounding, balcony with the ocean view no wifi signal in the room,
• Francesca (10/5): Unforgettable stay in Gran Canaria! - Could not fault this hotel whatsoever. Fabulous location with the beach, shops, and restaurants nearby. Fantastic facilities with the pool, bar etc. and everything was extremely clean. The food was lovely with a variety of choices each night, with each night being a different theme. (Make sure when booking via booking.com you select the option with dinner included- it’s more than worth it). All staff were English speaking and so happy to help. On our arrival they had saved us some food because our flight landed after dinner time, and when we asked about tours, the gentleman at reception was happy to recommend and book us onto a tour of the island!

• Mohammed (10/5): Tranquil luxury with the most amazing hotel staff - Amazing hotel which exceeded all expectations, all hotel staff were amazing and attentive very pleasant to deal with. Rooms are spacious and very clean not to mention the sea view was stunning. Checked in quite late but everything was ready and waiting and whole process was very smooth, requested a late check out also which was accepted and put in place amazingly. What really stood out for me was coming back to my room to find a note and gift from hotel manager wishing me a happy birthday when i had not mentioned it was my birthday at all, much appriciated. The only improvment would have been a double bed as opposed to two singles

• Simon (8/5): Nice hotel, great staff, very clean and a good location. - Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and well stocked. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all pleasant. The room was large enough though the fridge was a little small. The site was secure on both entrances, from the road and the beach. The breakfast items could have been hotter, but it's only a minor issue. There isn't really a lot to fault about the hotel and facilities.
