• MaryAnn (9/5): Lovely inn. Would recommend - Lovely inn located near shops and restaurants walking distance to the center of town. Very clean and well kept and quiet. Reminiscent of 50s and 60s motels. My parking space was right near the door. Friendly and helpful staff Could use a light above the mirror
• Teresa (6/5): Better customer service is needed - The location was very good. The motel has a beautiful garden behind it. The bedroom was big. The bathroom was newly renovated. There was coffee in the room. You can only check in from exactly 4 pm to 8 pm. The worst thing was that the heater did not work. The laminated page with info about the motel had no phone number to call. It said to go to the office and ring the bell. This was inconvenient on a cold morning. Also, the sound-proofing is that of the lowest-quality motel.

• Matthew (3/5): Cute, with Paper Thin Walls... - The Bluebird was in a lovely location with great access to the local downtown / old town. Location, location, location. It also has a baby kitchenette which was not something we used for a one night stay. Overall, location is all that this property has going for it... Everything besides the location, basically. The place is cute from the outside, but the walls were paper thin. I listened to about three or four different snorers throughout the night. The toilet was incredibly loud and took tremendously long to fill up the tank after each flush. The room had a stale odor emanating from either the walls or the piping when we came in. It's hard to justify paying more than say 79 a night to barely be able to sleep. I may as well have been staying in a hostel for all of the auditory privacy myself and the other guests had.

• Zejian (5/5): - Room was okay. Old but clean enough. Building is not sound proof. You can hear literatly everything from upstairs. A couple lived above us. I can't blame them for walking in their own room, or occationally dropping something, or waking up at 4am in the morning. It's their way of living. However, the sound will go through to your room to a point that you can't sleep. It's not the guests' above us's fault. The building has zero sound proof. The frustration is that there's nothing you or the building manager can do. The above guests are not being loud. The sound just penetrate.

Make sure to try the hot chocolate and the lemon water while you have a chat with new friends in the lobby or around the firepit. The beds are comfy and shower is hot. The only minor thing for us was squeaky floorboards from the room above. Not a big deal.

Easy walk to restaurants and cafes etc The one bedroom suite upstairs was ideal for us and had a beautiful outlook from the balcony across the trees and birdlife. Staff were friendly, welcoming and accomodating. We will stay here again, and found it the ideal place to stop on our way up the coast from LA to Monterey. Nothing of note.

• Karen (9/5): The Bluebird Inn is a delighful place to relax during a visit to Cambria. - The Bluebird Inn is a very lovely and quaint location. It has a garden on the grounds which is beautiful and provides seating for enjoying the flowers. The room is very clean and comfortable. It is within walking distance of many restaurants. The bottom sheet on the bed could not be tucked in and moved around. The bathroom window lets in the light from the facility next door. I just closed the bathroom door.

Only complaint we have is I asked for upstairs away from stairs, and got downstairs right by stairs. Both nights it sounded like a herd of elephants was stomping on our heads.
