• Jason alexander (8/5): Great stay in Athens. - Great location close to all attractions and public transport. Plenty of bars and restaurants very close by. Good sized rooms with balcony overlooking the square. On the 4th floor with a balcony but there is no lift. If you have mobility issues this will not suit as stairs are steep. It was ok for me.

Also it is in a busy street, very loud during the night, but the sound isolation was very efficient. We slept well. The bathroom was very small. You literally have to take a shower on top of the toilet.

In such a good location the Staff (especially the wife) was so lovely and helpful, she helped us get our bus sorted to get to the islands! The room was good very dark and aircon worked well! The showers very small, so a bit hard to get changed in there.

Arka odadaydik pencere sokağa değil içeri bakıyordu bazı kötü kokular geliyordu.
• Caroline (7/5): Great value for money for a short stay - The price and location are great to explore and in a lively area close to the shops and restaurants, rooftop bars,… the staff was nice and chatty. The place was really clean It is very basic and outdated. You have to walk one flight of stairs to reach the desk. The lift is from there only and only for the luggage. Not recommended for people with disabilities or heavy luggage . The mattress of the bed is too soft for me. I was in 5 hotels over 5 days and 1 night here got to my cervicals and back…
• sinilahti (8/5): Safe & clean well located budget hotel - Just a short walk from Monastiraki, attractions and M3 airport connection. Price. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes near by. Clean, very safe. Lots of stairs, f.ex 4.th floor is actually in the 5,5- /6 th floor of the building. The baggage lift helped. Some rooms lack sight to outside.

• Lei (10/5): Excellent hotel! - Great location. The hotel is in the center of old town, and within walking distance to most of the archaeological sites. For instance it’s about 15 minutes away from Acropolis of Athens. A lot of restaurants and grocery stores around. A couple of minutes away from Monastiraki Station. The room is small and but enough for a solo traveler like me. The room and bed are clean and the AC is excellent. There is a public kitchen so you can store your food an do some simple cooking if you want. My room has a window so it might be a little bit noisy at night but that’s expected because of the restaurants and bars. So bring earplugs with you! The front desk staff members are very helpful and I truly appreciate their service. This is a great place to stay if you want to careful about your budget.

Las instalaciones, viejas y pequeñas, en la ducha, tenés los caños al aire libre. Las camas eran cómodas, si solo te quedas una noche esta bien. Para más tiempo, busca otro lugar mejor.

Malheureusement, notre séjour a été gâché par l'attitude du gérant. Une personne imbuvable et très agressive sans aucune raison. Il s'est montré totalement inadéquat devant mon fils de 10 ans concernant le règlement de la chambre, alors que nous ne partions que le lendemain.

• Vasileios (9/5): Really value for money if you do not care for luxury stay. - Excellent location, Value for money. I will surely visit it again if I am on vacation with friends. It's located in a bit noisy area, and the renovation/furniture were old. But we were aware of where we had booked, and it met our expectations. I am definetly recommend it for friend tourism that do not care for luxury but for location. Old furniture, bad mattresses. Small room.

• Cyrille (8/5): Pour trois nuits passées en extérieur la journée, les nuits furent bonnes. - Emplacement parfais pour visiter les sites principaux à pieds (MUSEE ARCHEOLOGIQUE + ACROPOLE + AGORA + BUS TOURISTIQUE). Chambre très bien. Douche étroite, mais individuelle en chambre comme souhaité. Après une journée de marche, monter les quatre étages pouvait être épuisant, sans ascenseur.

• M7962JYpeterb (10/5): Budget hotel with character right in the heart of Plaka - This is a budget hotel and does pretend to be fancy (or expensive). I have stayed here over 8 times over many years. My favourite room is 417 which is small but has a little bathroom and decent sized balcony. Right in the middle of Plaka and very handy to everything. Staff are very helpful. Room 311 is slightly larger with two single beds but balcony is much smaller. I am always very sad to leave this place. There is a goods lift for baggage but you need to walk up stairs to reach your room -which is fine unless you have mobility issues. This is one of the very few hotel rooms that I really miss.

Τα στρώματα των κρεβατιων ωστόσο είναι καινούρια και πολυ αναπαυτικά.. το δωμάτιο που μας έδωσε ο κύριος στη ρεσεψιόν ήταν στον 3ο όροφο με μπαλκονι και πιάτο τον Παρθενώνα!! Όσο για την τιμη δεν το συζητάμε... για Πρωτεύουσα, θα το επιλεξω σίγουρα ξανά!!! Ετσι γινεται και για low budget ανθρώπους η Αθήνα επισκέψιμη Ευχαριστουμε πολύ!!! Τίποτα

• Brigitte (8/5): Unschlagbares Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis - Wir waren bereits zum dritten Mal im Tempi Hotel. Es hat ein unschlagbares Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, wenn man direkt im Zentrum von Athen einen Zwischenstopp einlegen will. Man darf natürlich nicht zu viel erwarten, es ist schließlich nur ein 1 Sterne Hotel, aber es ist sauber, das Personal ist freundlich, die Rezeption ist 24 Std. besetzt. Es hat 5 Stockwerke, die man gfs. auch zu Fuß bewältigen können muss, für das Gepäck gibt es aber einen Lastenaufzug. Die Zimmer nach vorne raus sind allerdings nichts für empfindliche Schläfer, da in der darunter liegenden Straße einige Lokale sind und die Abende lang sind, dafür hat man vom Balkon (wenn man ein Zimmer mit ergattert hat) einen seitlichen Blick auf die Akropolis. Zimmer nach hinten raus sind deutlich ruhiger. im ersten Stock gibt es eine kleine Teeküche, wo man sich selber Kaffee oder Tee kochen kann und diesen mit einem Teilchen vom Bäcker zu einem kleinen Frühstück machen kann, alternativ gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, zum Frühstück einzukehren, z.B. direkt nebenan. Die Metro-Station Monastiraki ist in fußläufiger Entfernung, der Sytagma Platz ist auch nicht viel weiter weg.

• rocio (10/5): - I liked the staff, everyone was very nice I liked the location, close to Monastiraki Square and 15 minutes walk to Syntagma. The room was clean and the size was ok. There are a good restaurants just in front. It was a little bit noisy outside but we understood that people were on vacation so we closed the windows and the problem was fixed. The size of the shower, it's small but it was ok.

• dominique (3/5): - L'emplacement. Quelle tristesse! J'étais déjà venu dans cet hôtel voici bien longtemps et l'avais trouver sympathique. Cette fois ci j'ai eu au 5eme étage un placard à balais, le plus mauvais lieu sur un grand nombre de chambre, un lieu qui devrait être interdit à la location! Je précise que je crois les autres bien plus satisfaisantes.

Fiyatı uygundu ancak son bir kaç gün önce booking.coma baktığımda yine merkezde aynı fiyatta banyosu içinde olan odalara rastladım. buraya rezv yaptığım için buraya gelmek zorunda kaldım, pazartesi gecesi kaldım. paylaşımlı tuvaleti olan tek kişilik odada kaldım. asansör yok, 5. katta. ses izolasyonu yok, yan oda uyuyana kadar ben de uyuyamadım. adam banyoya gitti geldi, saçlarını kuruttu, hazırlandı filan, her şeyi duydum, çok geç yattı. yan odayla birlikte yaşıyormuşsunuz gibi. kapı eski ahşap ve kilit tarafı oyulmuş.

My room was right at the top, so quite a climb. Last time I stayed on the 2nd floor, and would ask for that in the future.

The view from the balcony at level 5 is also very nice. The staff was polite and nice to us. The bathroom was shared but we knew from the first moment we booked so not a problem.

Par contre la chambre était très petite, les meubles vieillots et le bloc sanitaire dans une cabine de douche . Le lavabo dans la chambre. On trouve moins cher ou équivalent pour un confort largement supérieur.

• robert (7/5): great location at a good price - the hotel was a good value for the money with a great location close to many attractions and lots of restaurants close by to choose from the room was a little noisy and small and offered no breakfast
• Maria Fernanda Montoya (10/5): - I stayed with my husband and my one and a half year old son. Although it is quite small, I feel we didn't need anything more; it has everything necessary. It was very clean, and the staff was super helpful. They even arranged a taxi for us to the airport at 3:00 AM. And pretty close to everything!! Nice place !! Really liked it.

• JuanilloVK (7/5): Excelente ubicación y muy buen precio - Excelente ubicación, en pleno centro, pero sin ruido excesivo. El precio era insuperable. Los de la recepción eran simpáticos. La habitación era pequeña y vieja, no se parecía en nada a las fotos que venían en Booking. Además, estaba en la cuarta planta y no había ascensor... Bueno, había, pero los clientes no lo podían utilizar... El baño-ducha podría ser mejor.
