- Amber (2/5): - Nothing Everything tv wouldn't work, dusty dirty room. Smelled
- Lindsey (6/5): -
- SCOTT (3/5): NO TOWELS, NO SOAP, NO SHAMPOO, NO REPLY TO VOICEMAIL REQUEST - NO STAY HERE AGAIN - The motel and room was clean, small and generally what you'd expect for an older motel in a small town. Missing a few of the modern amenities (USB plugs in the walls), but overall what I expected initially. Frustrated isn't really a strong enough word. Check in was fine, including the aroma of Southern Humboldt's prime agricultural product wafting in the air surrounding the place. Real classy. Guess that's expected "when in Rome". MAJOR problem was the fact the room had NO towels, NO shampoo, NO soap, NO washclothes. Didn't discover that fact until I got undressed to take a shower and realized there was nothing there. I called the front office and got a recording saying the office was open from 4 PM to 11 PM (I called at 8:50 PM !) and to leave a message. I Left a message and waited. And waited... and never heard anything back. Ended up not taking a shower (after 7 hours of driving to get to Garberville)...and bailed first thing in the morning (again with no shower) to drive 7 hours home. Pretty bush-league for $125 per night hotel room.

- Paul (10/5): hotel was a great price. the location was ideal & management was friendly. would definitely stay again. - The hotel was clean and safe. there are quite a few restaurants, supermarkets and local stores within walking distance of the hotel.
- Cary (6/5): adequate. -
- Niel (10/5): -
- Jennifer (9/5): - Great location, great staff
- JAMES (7/5): - Dated but clean and quiet. Not many affordable motels in this area so this place was perfect for a nights sleep for those just passing through.
- Nickleye (10/5): Great motel for a great price, and you will want to stay for several days. - Great manager. Great location. Great Place to stay. Motorcycle friendly. Every thing was wonderful. I highly recommend this motel.
- M. (8/5): There is nothing fancy about this place, but it's super cute and the owner was really nice. - Cute place. The owner was super nice and friendly. Location was good for walking to get food. We were able to park our motorcycles right outside of our rooom.
- Kovatchev (3/5): Poor -
- Damon (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (3/5): uncomfotable because of lack of cleanliness - Within easy walking distance of a decent restaurant spiders and lots of dust around window, a few flying insects in room: mosquito? fly? gnat?
bathroom walls, door and trim were dirty
- Reynaldo (8/5): Very good -
- Frances (4/5): It was a bad experience! - The place is old and not updated. There were hairs on the pillow case! The floor seems uneven! The office was locked when we got there at 5:30 p.m. Had to call a number to get somebody in to register us - outside the office on a little table! Never had an experience like that before! We took a 3 week road trip driving from Los Angeles, CA to Vancouver BC Canada. We stayed at many hotels/motels. This one is the only one we didn’t like, and it’s not the cheapest one either! Others around the same price all serve a full breakfast and have a microwave oven in the room, and with many updated amenities!
- Robert (6/5): Quiet, roomy, clean but not fancy, close to town restaurants, easy in and out - No breakfast …. Went in town to eat breakfast Difficult access to TV channels.
- Tedrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nige (3/5): The owner was dirty and smelled. The room had cobwebs in and was quite dated. - The dirty room and staff

- Nathan (8/5): Very good - Room was comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The outside looked a little iffy but everything else made up for it.
- Michael (4/5): Disappointing -
- Erin (8/5): Very good -
- Eleonora (5/5): Fair room for more than it is worth - Staff was very helpful. I asked for a microwave and they brought it to me. The woman who did my check in told me that I could call her any time I needed anything. There was food in the box left in the refrigerator which was very small. Shower did not have a shower head. Water was cold in the bathroom sink. Overall, the room was not worth what I paid for.
- Cindy (7/5): Good -
- Jett (10/5): Owner was nice and place was clean! - Clean The pool
- T (9/5): Very enjoyable and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room - Staff was Very friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and well stocked.
- Jennifer (6/5): If you aren’t fussy this place is just fine. Safe, mostly clean (cobwebs, under the bed hasn’t been swept in a while and - It’s just fine & for the price it can’t be beat. It’s just a small inn right (and I mean RIGHT) off the freeway.
- Kathleen (8/5): Lovely location. - Beautiful scenery. Hot time of year.
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Ursula (7/5): Good - I need a cane to walk and when I checked in I was given a room for disabled on level ground without the need to walk stairs and without additional cost. That was very generous and much appreciated. Although the room was very comfortable, it had very little natural light.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Big room with separate areas for each bed.
Quiet and well located for the Coastal Redwoods. Dated. No toiletries. Pool was unusable but not important at this time of year.
- Steiner (7/5): Good -
- Craig (10/5): Perfect stay for a night - Very friendly staff, particularly the manager (Stephanie?). My teenage daughter and I were there for the marathon and this was a great place to spend the night before. Very accommodating with a late check out to allow us to shower and change before heading home. Would definitely stay again.
- Victoria (8/5): Very good -
- Eugene (8/5): Cozy and warm - Friendly staff All good
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Carrie (7/5): Good - Hot water was very slow to get to the room. 3 full minutes?

- Lin (3/5): Poor -
- Dawn (5/5): Passable -

- Maureen (4/5): Like a Motel 6 - Easy access Small room w minimal amenities and hot water took a long time to come through
- Carlton (7/5): Good -
- Amy (4/5): Disappointing - The manager (owner?) was lovely. Our room was unpleasantly cold, with no way to control it. The water in the sink never warmed past icy cold, although the shower temperature was fine. And the bathroom floor mat was very dirty.
- Ricardo (6/5): Pleasant - Location Room was cold
- Fabrizio (5/5): Disappointing but expected. - No carpets; Walkable to local services & conveniences; Bed comfort was acceptable. Had a mini fridge, hair dryer & tv & economy soap; towels present. No other amenities. Cleanliness, (dusty, spiders, spiderwebs & dead bugs present in corners & window ledges; half smoked marijuana cigarette found on floor; floor not swept; no room service during 2night stay; flat pillows, no toilet paper, no hot water at sink; tub dirty, tub drain very slow draining; key lock sticky & difficult to operate.
- Trisha (10/5): Very pleasurable - We liked the management (and her willingness to not make us feel dumb) over locking ourselves out of the room!!
The room was nice and comfortable. The bed was perfect and we fill asleep quickly. We didn't like that the coffee had to be put into those paper cups which gave the coffee the taste of cardboard.
- Britt (10/5): The proprietor was super nice. Really friendly. - No breakfast Better coffee in room
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Suzanne (6/5): Pleasant - Over priced for accommodation…but staff was great Price should have matched accommodation
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff and location A bit overpriced
- Andras (9/5): Very friendly and helpful staff. - The staff was very helpful and accommodating to my requests.
- Geoffrey (1/5): not so good - avoid if possible Thecwebsite did not work well when I tried booking from Austria.
- Gillian (9/5): Superb -
- Esther (1/5): I do not recommend this place. - Nothing. I was appalled at the unkept condition of the room. The room was dirty with spider webs everywhere. Coffee maker and refrigerator were extremely dirty and in poor condition.
- Luther (4/5): would not recommend to anyone, - Nothing. Outdated inside and outside. Poor outside lighting. Dead bugs in corner. Gave us an uncomfortable feeling when we arrived for our security. Staff greeted us in night clothes at 10:10.
Arrived later than anticipated as we had to change our route because of fires in the area.
- Varnavski (9/5): Superb -
- John (4/5): Won’t be back. - I was able to sleep. The water was hot. Pulled in around 8:20 pm. Got my room key and receipt. Rush to eat at ONLY diner closing at 9. Came back to room. Not a single towel or wash cloth. Rusty refrigerator! The pool or was it coy pond?
- Carlos (10/5): Great stay! - Great location at a reasonable rate. Easy to find and facilities are well maintained!
Simple, but it has all you need for a comfortable stay while driving or staying in the Humboldt Redwoods County.
- Phil (5/5): Passable -
- Gayle (1/5): I do not recommend. Beds were horrible. Overall the whole place just didn’t look clean -
- Michael (2/5): Very poor - The motel is very run-down. The entire town is very run-down. I do not recommend staying anywhere near Garberville. Trashy, dirty little town.
- Robyn (7/5): Good -
- Barbara (7/5): Ok for 1 night - Close to the activities we wanted to do Looks dated and in need of a few upgrades
- Kristine (5/5): Clean, quiet, pricey, little amenities, but close to redwoods. - The room was big and clean.
Fairly quiet setting.
Stephanie ( the staff) was very nice Coffee was terrible-like dark hot water (bring your own or go out( although town has very little to choose from). Miranda (town up the road had good coffee).
Way too pricey for what it is. No pool ( it was out of order-but maybe that was stated In description). This was more expensive than the other four hotels we stayed in this trip and had the least amenities. Not to mention this poor town which is practically a ghost town with businesses closed or vacant ( only one place to eat dinner in town)(not the hotel’s fault of course but come prepared.
Smell of smoke (cigarettes and pot) outside our room. I’m highly sensitive to smoke so it was not good for me health wise.
- Ruth (8/5): It was fine, mostly good but not stunning - It was close to the freeway It was close to the freeway. It had a locked pool that was not used.
- Jennifer (6/5): Nice visit. A little dated. Wonderful location. - Location is right off the highway.
- Lindgren (8/5): Very good - Clean. Great Location.
- Kim (5/5): Passable - Bed was confortable Room was real small.
Office was dirty and messy full of leaves
- Jackie (6/5): Pleasant - Could use a lot of updates
- Joachim (8/5): very good Inn to stay at for a visit at the Redwood State and National Parks - easy to reach - at HW #101 - near to the Redwood State and National Parks - large room with all facilities in good condition. coffee machine / fridge room to the main street, noise traffic in the morning
- Spurr (5/5): Passable -
- Sandra (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stuart (6/5): Pleasant - Convenient location. Price. AC located under sink. Difficult to access. Shower head missing.
- Kenneth (8/5): Good solid older motel. -
- Laurie (8/5): Very good -
- Jacob (6/5): Pleasant -
- Del (7/5): Good -
- Brian (7/5): Good -
- Judy (5/5): It was sufficient for an overnight. Poor little vacant town. Was glad for a grocery store nearby - Very friendly check in No microwave
Bed was hard
- William (7/5): Good -
- Amy (8/5): Great option for the Avenue of the Giants race - I came up for the Avenue of the Giants race and was looking for something affordable that was close to the starting line. The manager called ahead of time to confirm my booking and answer any questions. I was THRILLED by the generous late check-out, so I could take a shower after the race, and before hitting the road home. Otherwise, the place was clean and convenient from the freeway. Also, it was cool to see that the bathroom was ADA/wheelchair accessible. The walls were pretty thin, so I had to wear earplugs to fall asleep. Plus, the mini fridge was really, really mini. So if I'd had more than a drink and a sandwich, it may not have fit. But, still nice to have the fridge in the first place.
- Arron (9/5): Superb - Staff was friendly helpful. The room was clean. Na
- Mayra (10/5): it was very comfortable and the room was spacious - it was clean and quiet
