Made sure I got a room on the top floor (no noise above) as I requested. She had a warm smile and very friendly personality. Hotel is clean too and breakfast was good, lot of options. I definitely will be back if I am in the area:)

- SunnyDaysInArizona (4/5): Home2 Suites by Hilton Gillette, WY - This hotel puts the Hilton hotels to shame. Not sure why Hilton allows to have something like that functioning under the Hilton brand that used to have some standards. The hotel is very outdated with very much a need of a total facelift. The bed comfort does not compare to the Hampton Inn. The breakfast had pretty poor options available. There were attendants around but not replenishing anything unless they were asked. The coffee was decent. Needless to say, that this was my first and last time staying at this particular hotel.

Designed for travelers with plenty of counter space for your luggage, hooks in the bathroom, a table if you need it and a good size fridge, 24hr coffee. Checkin was easy and clerk very friendly. Breakfast was the best we’ve had all week. They had some protein choices and sandwiches you can make the way you like with sausage, cheese,biscuits or muffin. Gravy, egg bites, breads, bagels and fresh muffins. Not those pre-packed garbage ones! The best was an egg and spinach puff pastry. Area well tended for breakfast too. Would stay again.

Pros; clean, quiet, friendly staff. Cons; no hair dryer, breakfast not what it used to be. For the most part, still a good choice, and I will stay again in the future.

- Megan (10/5): Great 1 night stayb - 1 night stay, returning customers. This is the only hotel we stay at while in Gillette. Hotel was packed due to a volleyball tournament and dance competition. Staff kept up very well. Pool was great. Breakfast was great for a free meal. Rooms were cleaned well. Noticed the smell of sanitation as we walked in. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Will definitely be back.

The rooms are suites with a kitchenette, with a dishwasher and fridge. Not a mini fridge, one big enough for a weeks worth of groceries for 2 and a freezer bigger than a six pack of soda. I always liked Hilton. These suites take it up a notch for the average hard-working people who want to get the best bang for their buck.

We appreciate the large refrigerator and freezer space for our cooler food/ ice packs. Nice having breakfast served early at 5:30 AM. Really good places to eat within walking distance. So easy to have our dog there with us - a nice area to take him outside, supplied with pet poop bags. Located right on our route.

I was given 2 bottles of water at no cost to me. The employees were so very helpful and friendly. The breakfast each morning was very good, in fact above average for many hotels I've stayed at. The TV worked very well. The water for showers was warm and very warm. Amenities were excellent (shampoo, hand soap, etc.)

Just needs more hooks in the bathroom and less aroma/scent machine output in the halls/lobby to be totally perfect.

- dmartin304 (8/5): Great accommodations in Gillette, Wyoming - I was only staying for 2 nights, and the first night I got in very late. But, the room was good size and had a small equipped kitchen as part of the room, including a dishwasher! If you were staying for a period of time, it would be a good way to save some money by cooking in your room. It was a comfortable room.

Lots of energy industry traffic so some rooms aren't in perfect shape but staff makes up for it being accommodating. Have stayed here for work and personal trips.

- Dezery (2/5): Not worth the cost! - The esthetic of the hotel outside and lobby was good. Concerns to staff were well received just haven’t seen the promise to make it right “yet”. Our bathroom was very unclean, the walls and mirrors of the room were very unclean. I purchased cleaning supplies to clean our bathroom prior to use. The hallways on our floor were very cold! Noise transfer from other rooms was terrible.

- Mn48754763 (10/5): Great place to stay. - The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Helped us with anything we needed. The breakfast was very good and the server went out of her way to accommodate us. The hotel is definitely somewhere I would high recommend. This hotel was very clean.
- rsilver1971 (6/5): just ok - just ok. the staff is great! kudos to reagan and larena. the building is built cheaply. my room was small and the kitchen was not very well equipped. my sink disposal was broken. i checked in to the 4 floor but moved to the third due to the really loud hvac system in the halls and roof. the gym is ok. good bike. overall just ok and mostly clean.
- Amanda (10/5): Great little home away for Competitions or Busines - Both the night and morning desk personnel were really great whenever we requested items. I would say the breakfast was some of the best I’ve seen for continental breakfast. My kids were able to pick great choices that were healthy and delicious! Very clean and great for the stay that we had for dance competition, with amenities for those of us who needed to cook our own food due to allergies.
- 920lakinr (10/5): Truly Feels Like a 2nd “Home” - Truly lives up to the “Home” in their name. Had to stay here for 2 weeks for work after getting moved up on short notice. When I had an issue with a room, they immediately moved me. Breakfast is amazing & staff are super friendly and helpful!

- Shelly (8/5): - I'm not providing a rating on the other items because the hotel had hot water problems so I never did stay there. I did give the facility a 4-star rating as upon check-in he promptly made me aware of the problem and provided me a list of other hotels in the area and their telephone numbers. The desk clerk was very apologetic and he was very helpful in assisting me to make other arrangements. I will certainly consider this hotel if/when I am ever in the area again.

- cakp (8/5): Nice visit but needs some attention - This was our first visit to a Home 2 Suites. We enjoyed staying here but there are a few things needing attention. First, the room was nice but the bathroom needed fixing. The wall paper was coming off & the shower head caused water to leak out of the shower. We did enjoy the pool & how quiet it was. The next morning at breakfast, the warmer was broken so there was a line to get hot food. I don’t know how long it was broken, but you would think it should be a priority repair. Overall it was a nice place to stop.

- Phsmsu (10/5): Terrific stay - This was our fourth stay in hotels on our cross country trip and this was the best. Best breakfast, best area, best room. Can’t find anything to suggest for improvement. Some might mind that there is no tub, only a shower but fine with us. Even the hallway decor was pleasing.

The room was banged up. The shower pressure was inconsistent and our room 409 had cracks in the shower walls. The TV channel options were limited.

- Sightsee14844603776 (4/5): NOISY, bring your earplugs. - Room doors SLAM shut, can hear every door closing all the way down the hall. Unable to turn on a constant fan for white noise because it only cycles on/off with the thermostat. I wish I could post a video of just how noisy it is!
- Ann (8/5): Nice hotel - Very clean and friendly. Pool is typical hotel pool. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable but are small!! Not sure how 2 people could comfortably sleep in them. I was in a room with one bed and pull out couch. Nice to have the full size refrigerator. Was there for a sports tournament and could safely keep all foods cold and freezer packs frozen.

Room was recently cleaned as dishes in dishwasher were still warm, maybe housekeeping was a little rushed? Front desk staff were notified and situation resolved.
- Steve (1/5): Bad - The floor in the kitchen had coffee stains on it, the floor was never cleaned, also the microwave was smeared with something it looked like it was never wiped down. I will never stay at one of your hotels ever again.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very pet friendly place and is your typical Home2 setup. This is my 2nd time staying here in the past 2 years and the shower floor is still dirty. I don’t know if it’s the texture used but it needs a good scrubbing. The center square is nearly black while the rest of the area is white. If I return to Gillette I’ll probably stay elsewhere.

- Allen (10/5): Giving up our ambassador status with another brand and staying with Home2 for all our travels. - This was our first time staying with Home2, we are usually loyal to another brand and actually pretty high in their member rewards chain, but have been unhappy with the rooms we've gotten lately. So we gave this place a try and we left so impressed. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were great, firm but squishy. I do wish there were 4 pillows instead of 3, but I digress. This is a pet friendly hotel and have treats out in the lobby. The staff was so upbeat and friendly. The breakfast though takes the cake! Since covid hotel breakfasts have suffered greatly, but not here! We had a hearty great tasting breakfast that was included with our room stay! I think we will start staying at this hotel brand and say adios to the one we've been loyal to for 10 years. The only complaint I had was the pillows, I wish there were 4 on the bed instead of three, I know there were others. But my kids, who slept on the pull out sofa used those.
