We had to use the stairs when the elevators were out of service. The pattern on the carpet is an optical illusion of squares that don't line up and it made me dizzy to use them.

- Jennifer (7/5): Good place to stay overnight, especially when you travel with your pets. - Close to the freeway. Good as stopping point when you’re on a long drive. Good when you travel with your pet. Staff at check in was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room is clean. Have some free essential items (like a toothbrush) you can use in case you forgot to bring your own. Good and substantial free breakfast. Check in and check out a breeze. I just stayed overnight so I didn’t find anything I didn’t like overall. But maybe just these two things: too small grassy area for the dog to do its thing and NO STAFF at the front desk early in the morning to check out. There was one lady who was in the cafeteria, cleaning. She didn’t say to me: “She just went to the bathroom, she’ll come back soon.” One customer was also waiting by the desk and checking out as well. He just said, “Well, I just leave these room keys and go. They know it’s from me anyway.” So I did the same thing.

- Zach (10/5): Our family had a comfortable and lovely stay at this hotel. - We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn Fairmont. It was everything we needed for a one night stay during our family road trip. It was right off the highway and there were dinner options near the hotel. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool, it was clean and warm. We were happy with the breakfast also. The hotel and rooms felt modern, clean and comfortable!

Saturday night the lobby was blocked off and not available for use . There were no towels in pool , Sunday morning after breakfast , they had the pool closed which is an odd time to clean pool when the hotel was packed with kids . There was never anyone at the desk to get help .

Lots of towels! Hair dryer is hanging behind the bathroom door. Lol Easy to use thermostat. Breakfast was just fine. (Better than the Hampton in Waynesburg PA.) Waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes, muffins, oatmeal, juices, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, etc. Good coffee 24 hours. Could use a small table on the outer sides of the queen beds but not really a problem. Not all streaming apps available on the tv. They do have Netflix, Disney and a few others. Unsuccessful in adding our Paramount + and Peacock. Not a problem, just an fyi. One wireless charger on the table between the queen beds. Pretty cool. Staff was great and said more improvements are coming! Indoor pool. Closed temporarily but that’s okay for this trip. Will stay here each time we drive through! Cracker Barrel nearby for dinner is dangerous. Of course I had to buy something in their store. So beware!!! Thank you for a nice experience everyone!

The rooms were spotless and smelled so good. Owen, working front desk, went over and beyond getting our tv set up so our 4 year old twins could be occupied with a video game. Breakfast was wonderful, The indoor pool was heated. This hotel made the best of a sad situation. We appreciated their kindness.

- MountainMamaTravels (6/5): In need of some TLC. Could be better. - Let me start with the good. The hotel is conveniently located right off of I79. Parking is easy and the lobby area is well maintained. The breakfast seemed above average for most Hampton Inns which was nice. Also, all of the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. Now the bad. This hotel overall is in need of some TLC. The rooms and hallways show lots of wear and tear. The worst part was our actual room (room 205 in case management wants to check and see if it is isolated to this particular room). The room had a foul odor as soon as we walked in. My daughter said it smelled like strong body odor - and I agree, but it could have also been musty. I’m not sure. The bathroom was dirty and there was lots of dust in the room. If the room had been sanitized and cleaned thoroughly after the previous guest, I would think it would have had a better smell. We were only staying one night so we made it work, but had we been there longer we would have probably had to ask for a new room. I will say that this is probably the best hotel in Fairmont.

The front desk staff at check in and checkout were very friendly and knowledgeable, addressing any questions we had. The room was clean and neat other than a couple of issues in the bathroom. Apparently the hot water was used up by other guests before I took my shower at 10 a.m., even after letting it run for nearly 5 minutes. I addressed another bathroom issue with the front desk and was told the general manager would contact me. Overall a nice overnight stay for my wife and me. Recommended!

One of the most comfortable hotels we have stayed at from check-in; friendly efficient, great gym, I mean better equipped than most of the larger chains. The breakfast was also on a higher level than hotel at this level. Clean up to date, quiet all the modern conveniences. When we are back through this area this will now be our go-to place to rest.

At check-in I was told sorry we are over sold on your room type so we don’t have a king for you. I stated completely unacceptable. After a half an hour of the clerk switching things around. We ended up with a handicapped room with 2 queens. The front desk let me believe we were getting a king. No discount offered. We will not stay here again.

- mac (1/5): We will never stay there again. - The room was big Our room wasn’t ready at check in , it was an hour and a half before it was ready. Then on top of that they put a $50 hold on our card just in case we wanted snacks.
- JANE (10/5): - Convenient location. Comfortable bed. Fine little breakfast included. Exactly what we were looking for on our way home.

- Tyson (10/5): - this hotel was awesome. It had a great salt water pool, a great gym and amazing breakfast with lots of choices. Awesome overall place to stay that was clean with great rooms.
