Friendly staff and easy check in process. Good value for the money. Location is convenient to Olympia, and there are enough restaurants and coffee shops nearby (driving). Sound from freeway was not well isolated in room on the west side of the property (adjacent to I-5). Complementary breakfast was welcome, but had limited options.
- Tuesday (1/5): Disappointing - Location to hospital was convenient There was blood on the ceiling of my room - notified staff and no one seemed to care. Breakfast was lame. Most flat uncomfortable pillows I have ever seen in a hotel.

- Lisa (7/5): Better than the Best Western down the street - Friendly staff listened and helped me There was a dog a few rooms away whining and howling most of every day. At breakfast, all the eggs are super overcooked- the flat discs are odd. Either gently scrambled or actual, whole fried eggs would be better. Seemed short staffed as the girl at the front desk was also servicing rooms, etc and had to be called with the bell all the time. Normal Wi-Fi login using last name did not work

- Tracy (9/5): Great place to stay in Tumwater-Olympia - Breakfast is good for a hotel at this price point. The bacon is always perfect. Coffee is always hot and fresh. The rooms are always clean. Late-night check in staff are always kind and courteous. It's my go-to hotel when I am visiting my mom in Olympia. Check in is easy and fast. Everything was great on my most recent trip. I really appreciate the current staff and their kindness, promptness, and attention to detail.

- Linda (8/5): - Our executive king room had some space for 2 adults and a 10 year old. The room was very quiet. The sofa bed had dirty bedding on it when we opened it and the mattress could use replacing. Hot breakfast items were not refilled at 8 am after a group of teenage boys went through. My family doesn't eat sugary carbohydrates or cereal which left little to eat but hard boiled eggs.

Also disappointed that there wasn’t a jacuzzi—only a swimming pool. Our toilet plugged up and my husband had to borrow a plunger from the front desk. The shower wasn’t draining properly and you’d have four inches of water in the tub by the time you were done showering. Exhaust fan wasn’t working in bathroom so mirror was fogged up

The good size tv actually works and have a variety of channels you can choose from. The free breakfast is beyond our expectations. We’ve stayed in a number of La Quinta Inn over the years and this is the best by far! None that we could think of in our overnight stay.

- Richard (2/5): - No operational pool as advertised, no refund or compensation even though that's the only reason I got the room for my athletic son to get in certain exercises before this week's competitions coming up.

Unfortunately, a previous guest obviously smoked in the bathroom, and housekeeping tried to mask the smell with an overload of cleaning chemicals. Using the bathroom was not only unpleasant, I sneezed, coughed and had major runny nose each time.
