Ouvert sur son environnement marin, il permet de baigner dans un site magnifique, entre terre et mer. Les chambres sont très bien équipées, particulièrement lumineuses, avec un excellent niveau de confort.

- Carl (10/5): - Our fourth visit to this hotel and it never disappoints. Lovely room with excellent walk-in shower. Great views and a wonderful setting. Staff friendly and helpful, but bar service was very slow as it was very busy. Choice of restaurants with excellent food, but the chef should refrain from offering a meat based jus with fish. Superb breakfast, if a bit expensive. Will definitely return.

- Anne (6/5): Disappointed with this visit - Lovely hotel in great location. Staff not so good. Watch for the extras on your bill, check it thoroughly. There is a kettle in the bedroom, I asked at reception if they had any caffeine free tea bags and they gave me 2 camomile - and charged me 3.50 euros each for them, I asked for a little fresh milk in a jug for the room, that was 3.50 euros too and the small bottle of water in the room - that was also 3.50 euros. Went down for dinner, thought we would have a drink in the bar first, had to wait nearly 15 minutes for staff to appear though other staff saw us waiting there. Barman had no idea what Gin was although the bottle was on the shelf and it was listed in the drinks menu. Just found the atmosphere was as if everything was too much trouble. Shame as we have stayed before and loved this hotel and the food in the restaurant is very good.

- Sylvain (4/5): Pas de ventilateur pendant la canicule .. - Très déçu. L'emplacement est plaisant et le restaurant très bien. La chambre vue mer est plein Sud et sur la plage qui est bruyante jusque tard dans la nuit. Pas de clim, je peux le comprendre en Bretagne mais même pas un ventilateur pendant la canicule ce qui a rendu cette nuit cauchemardesque dans une chambre à plus de 30 °. A ce tarif c'est dur à avaler.

- Carl (10/5): - Superb location on a tiny peninsula overlooking the Gulf of Morbihan, just a few minutes from the historic town centre. Comfortable, well appointed bedroom and good-sized bathroom. Most rooms have a balcony. Excellent staff, friendly and welcoming. Choice of main restaurant or bistro cafe, excellent food quality and service. Extensive buffet breakfast. This is my second visit and thoroughly enjoyable. Will certainly wish to return.

L’endroit est placé à un endroit où on peut partir à pied randonner dans un cadre magnifique Voyager seule permet d’être plus attentive…. Restauration a des prix corrects et de belle facture. Un petit rafraîchissement de la salle de restaurant serait un plus mais franchement allez-y les yeux fermés

Nous avons apprécié la présence d'un réfrigérateur à l'instar des hôtels Best Western américains. Salle de bains avec miroir grossissant et de très grandes serviettes de bains (pas toujours le cas) Par contre, 14 euros pour un petit déjeuner, c'est vraiment trop cher si vous ne prenez comme moi qu'un café, un morceau de pain et un jus d'orange. Très bon séjour d'une nuit. Nous y reviendrons.

Service de navette gratuite pour le port maritime.
- Raphael (4/5): Overpriced - Das Hotel liegt an einem wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde. Jedoch ist das Zimmer falsch angeboten wie zb. Kingbett, hat aber im ganzen Hotel nur Queenbetten. Frühstück ist sehr grenzwertig. Klimaanlage ist nicht vorhanden. Zimmer relativ ringhörig.

- Mary (10/5): Overnight stay - A great place to stay on our return trip to Roscoff Ferryport. Wish that we had more time to enjoy the surroundings.A comfortable and bright hotel located on the harbour outside Vannes. We arrive just a bit too late to eat but breakfast was very good. Wifi connection was erratic. We had time to enjoy a refreshing walk around the harbour in the morning, it's a delightful location but I'm sure it would be very busy in peak season.. Will definitely recommend it to friends.
- Carlos (8/5): Great location, not a warm touch. - Great location. Somewhat snooty staff. The place felt corporate and not like a boutique hotel. Did I mention the great location? And central Vannes is lovely too.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The Hotel is just great. Its a little gem within touching distance of Vannes. It has its own little beach which is great, with a lido just around the corner. Staff were fab and the hotel rooms were lovely (we had a quadruple in the roof). The restaurant was really nice with great food selection. Will be back

- Richard (8/5): Good and bad - Really good. Fantastic location. All clean and friendly and comfortable bed. Armchairs in room not comfortable. Tea/coffee etc not replaced in room. Brasserie restaurant quite poor - overcooked or undercooked and wine spilt ( not our fault) with no recompense. Overall would happily recommend but some reservations.

- Robin (10/5): Brilliant setting by the beach and boats - Setting excellent. Food excellent at breakfast and in the evening at the brasserie. My only criticism is the lack of air conditioning which, on hot nights, can prove uncomfortable.
- John (10/5): My hotel of first choice in Vannes - Stayed here many times and it is one of my two hotels of first choice in the area. Beautiful tranquil location situated about one mile out of the historic town of Vannes and on the banks of the Golfe du Morbihan at the presque’il de Conleau which connects to the continent by a causeway. Brilliant if you have a car as it has excellent gated parking and an easy 5 minute drive into town. If you don’t have a car, then the number 3 bus, at 1€20, is an easy way to get to and from the hotel. Rooms are graded as balcony -superb and romantic views; Superior with sea views but no balcony; and Comfort. Unlike many hotels which describe a glimpse of the water as ‘ Sea view, Le Roof takes the opposite approach and you can see glimpses of the gulf from most Comfort grade rooms. TIP: The hotel also owns and operates a restaurant called the Cafe Conleau in a veranda on the end of the building which serves similar food to the hotel’s main restaurant at attractive prices - you can even book your table at reception and charge the food to your hotel account.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great base, fantastic location just outside Vannes - Nice hotel in a great spot on the outskirts of Nantes. Great base for exploring, would have been good to have a B&B option but otherwise happy with stay. Room slightly small but we weren't planning to spend too much time sitting in our room. Fantastic views from the bar/restaurant. Need a car to get into central Vannes.
- Ted (10/5): Great hotel with wonderful views of sailboats - I am a sailor. I was looking for a hotel which oversaw the harbor and charter boats going out the channel. Le Roof was the best hotel to watch boats and lots of swimmers who enjoyed the park setting. There was a wonderful old restaurant with many boats and historic pictures next door for lunch. Cocktails outside were fine except when smokers took them over. We like the fact that the hotel was non-smoking. Staff was very helpful and met all of our requests. Unlike most tourist places, we were the only Americans for the week we stayed at the hotel. Almost all hotel guests were French. If you love sailboats and a wonderful hotel with a view of them, Le Roof is unmatched.

- Angela (10/5): Romantic hotel on the water. - A beautiful hotel on the water! Walking around the area is wonderful. The hotel was not full and they upgraded us to a corner room with a balcony overlooking the bay. 2 great pubs outside for food and drinks. Very romantic.

- June (10/5): Unfortunate ending! - Everything was great, just so relaxing! If you like sea/boats and views this hotel ticks those boxes, in fact it ticks most of the boxes. The terrace tables etc where not always as clean as they could have been. Unfortunately when we were trying to check out the receptionist tried to tell us that we hadn't paid for the basic hotel stay even though we produced paperwork to back up our claim. She was abrupt and rude (blondish short haired lady) - this experience was un-necessary.

- Laurie (10/5): great location - Really pleasant staff.Excellent parking facility included. Very good food in Bistro and Restaurant. Nice garden overlooking sea and boat moorings. Thoroughly recommended for a leisure break.
