• Marcus (7/5): Mega entspannend - Hervorragende Aussicht Sehr gemütliche Einrichtung Direkt an der Hauptstraße. Man hat den Verkehr ziemlich gehört, war aber total ok.

• Jörg-Peter (8/5): Bequemes Motel für einen Zwischenstopp mit sehr schönen Aussicht auf den Mono Lake. - Das Zimmer ist groß und die Betten sehr bequem. Zimmer mit der Aussicht zum See ist sehr empfehlenswert. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig, teilweise improvisiert. Mobiliar gut ausgelegt, auch für tägigen Aufenthalt. Sehr ruhig, u.a. auch weil außerhalb der Saison. Personal war auf Anfrage immer sofort vor Ort und sehr hilfsbereit. Kein Zimmerservice bei 3 Übernachtungen. Hinweis: außerhalb der Sommersaison ist im Ort alles geschlossen. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nicht zugänglich, da gesperrt.

• Anne (4/5): - The beds were comfortable. The motel is close to Mono Lake and the Tioga Pass entrance to Yosemite. The facilities are old and in desperate need of updating and repair. The bathroom door did not close, there was no soap, we heard the traffic on the highway behind our room all night. There was no view from our room, just the hallway for other guests to get to their rooms.

• Jan (7/5): Gute Lage, sonst nichts besonderes - Die Nähe zum Nationalpark ist mit Sicherheit das Highlight dieses Motels. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer auf den See war schön. Die gute Lage lässt sich das Motel vergolden. Es war auf unserer Rundreise mit Abstand die Unterkunft mit dem schlechtesten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

• Elaine (8/5): Great location for entrance to Yosemite with a few local things to see first. - Stayed here for the location near the entrance to Yosemite. our room was right on the road so you felt vibrations as trucks went past. Room was a bit dated and musty but was ok and had everything you needed - we had a good nights rest in a comfy bed. The view from our veranda was obscured by trees but we drove 10 mins to Mono lake in the morning which more than made up for our lack of view from the hotel. Restaurant and breakfast diner (amazing cinnamon buns) were also good/convenient.

• A Mikhailovsky (10/5): A great place to stay near the Tioga Road entrance to Yosemite NP. - Nice small motel. It looks a bit rustic on the outside, but the room was clean and comfortable. Checking in and out was a breeze; the staff was friendly and helpful. The Mono Lake view from the property is fantastic. It was a bit on the pricey side, but the location justified it.

Probably biggest issue was not realizing until we arrived that our motel was RIGHT on the main road through town, with our room door opening up to that street/road’s sidewalk, so traffic noise was an issue. But it was nice having two good restaurants literally right across that street.

• Francesca (8/5): - Personale molto gentile, bellissima vista dal terrazzino sul retro. Nonostante fuori facesse un bel freddo (8 gradi di notte a fine settembre) dentro si stava ben caldi. Letto comodo. Ristoranti proprio di fronte alla struttura, parcheggio in loco gratis e presenza di lavanderia. Struttura molto datata, dà sulla strada come tutti i motel della zona, il soffione della doccia purtroppo non si puó muovere e quando si aprono le porte esce tutta l’acqua perchè il getto è inclinato è inamovibile. Purtroppo non vale assolutamente il prezzo altissimo pagato (eravamo pure in bassa stagione), ma considerando che tutte le strutture della zona avevano prezzi simili o piu alti ci si accontenta.

It was a bit disconcerting and not as quiet as a regular wall might be at keeping out outside noise. However, the staff were all exceptionally nice and they clearly pay attention to small details around the property and in the rooms.

• Herman56 (8/5): Excellent room(s) (family room) - Big room, nice terrace and views. I would have liked a desk to work on, there is a small table which was sufficient. The drawers of the cupboard kept coming out, not really a problem but at night you can hurt yr self. Please adjust the bottom and the problem is solved :-)

Our initial room (11) we were gives had a fantastic view and was further away from the road, but no fridge/microwave. We were able to be moved to an upgraded room at no additional cost (weekday). Good location overall. Nice shops and restaurants nearby had what we needed. Overall good experience for our group of 4.

• Pal (8/5): - It’s a bit outdated property, but it was in a good shape, the cleaning staff is doing a great job to maintain the rooms. It was clean and cozy, perfect for our one night stay. It has a little patio looking to Lake Mono.

Quarto um pouco escuro e antigo, banheiro um pouco pequeno. Principal ponto é sobre custo benefício, achei muito caro pelo que oferece, mas também a região pelo visto carece de acomodações.

• Pierre (9/5): - Emplacement exceptionnel (entre le Mono Lake et l'entrée de Yosemite via Tioga Pass). Parfait pour une petite baignade au coucher de soleil (attention le lac est hyper salée et à pH 10, bien se rincer :-)) et idéal pour démarrer la journée à Yosemite au lever du Soleil (le parc est immense). Parking gratuit devant la chambre, super vue sur le lac. Petite terrasse collective éclairée pour prendre son repas (plat réchauffé au micro-ondes). La chambre est basique mais propre est suffisante pour 4, salle de bain correcte. L'endroit est au bord de la route mais c'est très calme. RAS
