- Laura (9/5): -
- MICHAEL (9/5): - Nice location. You need complimentary wi-fi. Every one uses it and everywhere else I've stayed, it's been complimentary.
- Nolan (9/5): Nice. - Very cute and close to the marina. Everything was great. Maybe add some floor mats in the bathroom.
- James (9/5): Great people, place and price. - Met our location needs and had great views and amenities Maybe warmer blankets for winter users.
- Sheree (8/5): peaceful fall getaway - It was very clean. We liked the pull out Murphey bed in the main room. We liked the fire place. We enjoyed taking serveral walks along the beautiful lake. There is a new grocery store in town. It was great!
- Alan (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, quiet, relaxing. Just what we were looking for.
- Lothair (8/5): - Carpet needed vacuuming. One of the bedroom pillows smelled a little musty. Probably time to get rid of that pillow. Ants in the kitchen and the bathroom. Overall, a good stay but cleanliness was somewhat lacking.
- Michael (7/5): Perfect for needs. - Excellent checkin. Nothing
- Jace (4/5): - We mainly visit for the pool but the pool was closed for construction and there was no notification of this until we arrived.
- Stan (10/5): It was an enjoyable stay - Location was great for the city we stayed in Noise upstairs. Noise by stairwell
- Nancy (10/5): - The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean.
- Jesus (10/5): great time with the whole family - wey nice facility staff was great. also great location next to the lake. i liked this property it’s was really nice
- maktman (8/5): Nice clean well maintained place. - Nice well maintained place. Just try to get a 2 bedroom unit to avoid being on the ground floor. You hear all the little stomping feet on the ground floor. Close to groceries and the Lake.
- joshuamZ6685KT (8/5): Great place to stay, but step is a safety hazard - It is a great place to stay, but there is a step on the south side of building 3 I have tripped multiple times on and almost fell. Please fix it!!!!!
- Heather (10/5): - Is a wonderful place to stay. Great prices. Very accessible. Beautiful view. Can’t wait to go back.
- Neil (9/5): Superb - Helpful staff. Great location
- Nicole (8/5): - Nice and spacious. Had everything we needed and very convenient. Pool and hot tub was under renovation but we knew that beforehand. Would definitely return.
- Teresa (10/5): - Awesome trip . Awesome staff and accomodations . Beautiful condo across the street from the water . Super quiet . Would so stay again.
- Kailee (10/5): 5 stars - The condo was perfectly equipt for our family's stay. The full kitchen was ideal and we loved having the use of the bbq grill.
- Diane (8/5): - The 2 bedroom condo was very nice. The kids had twin beds, and their own bathroom which was nice. The main bedroom was very large , and bathroom was nice. There was a jacuzzi tub that my grandson loved. The pool building was under major need of repair but we were aware of that prior to going. The kids had a great time swimming. I guess my only complaint is that they charge for WIFI. Not only do they charge you, but it is very expensive. Who charges for WIFI anymore?
- Clyde (10/5): - The value was great. The condos are a very nice fit for all of us.
Mary Teresa took good care of us upon check in.
- marcrosenfeld1020 (10/5): Resort Experience - Wonderful resort in all respects! Great location for side trips. Resort Associates were very helpful and friendly!
- Aidan (10/5): - This place is great and very clean, staff were awesome, overall 5 star place.
- Tomasz (9/5): Superb -
- Pathfinder97837 (10/5): Hidden gem - We were there off season, but if you are a skier/snowborder, Beaver Mtn is the best place in Utah. $70 lift tickets, no wait in any lift line and during the week, almost your own private mountain. We had great powder and wonderful experience.
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Rich (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (10/5): - Incredible stay. Booking again next time
- Clyde (10/5): - The types of rooms are perfect for our family get togethers. The prices were very reasonable, too.
Being in Unit 6, the pool building was far enough away that we had to drive to it. Other than that, everything else was great.
- pate2017 (2/5): Ruined Family Vacation dt terrible company ethics!! - If I could give Zero stars or Less than Terrible - I would!!! We drove to this property through the worst snow storm of the season, and upon arrival we were told that our reservation had been changed from a 4 night stay (which was already paid for) to an overnight stay because their reservation system only showed a 1 night stay. When I showed them my reservation and re-confirmation received 2 days earlier, I was told a timeshare owner "must have" decided to use the condo the same time we had reserved, so our reservation "must have gotten kicked out" without any kind of warning or communication to us or our booking agency. That's such poor business practice and customer service!! The family checking in after us experienced the same thing!! This property doesn't care about customer service, they only care about their bottom line and their timeshare customers!!! When asked what they were going to do to fix the situation, they offered to relocate us back down the canyon to a single hotel room for my entire family (not a condo) which was also a two-hour drive in the storm, for the rest of our stay. I was unwilling to risk my life, or the lives of my family driving up and down that canyon in a winter storm and because of that, I was called unreasonable, and told "these things happen - and it is what it is". My husband and other family members had to get a hotel room for the night in Logan because driving up the canyon at night in the storm was too treacherous - especially with not having a place to stay for more than overnight as that was their offered options - to stay 1 night, take a 1 room condo for our entire family to stay in, stacked on top of each other, or drive back down the canyon and stay in Logan. That was all they were willing to do for us. It was pathetic, and they continued to point fingers and blame other parties for their problem!!! No - the property is the problem. If everyone but the property has our reservation correct - there is more than a "glitch" in the system, esp if it happened to me and the family checking in after me!! It's not like there are other options for lodging around there, and in the middle of a snow storm - turning paid customers away is not only terrible customer service, it's truly dangerous!!! Additionally, they have terrible company ethics if willing to do that to anyone!! I hope no one they turned away was hurt or injured by their negligence!
I will never stay with this property again and I hope the gentleman that was checking in after me feels the same!!
WorldMark should not be allowed to rent their properties out to online sites if they are pulling reservations from paying customers and not saying a word, and then turning us away once we get there! They obviously do not understand the meaning of having a paid "Reservation"!
I would strongly encourage Expedia, Vrbo, Extra Holidays, AirBb, Travelocity and any other property rental site to cancel partnerships with WorldMark if this is how they treat their vacation rental customers, because the blowback from their terrible customer service and negligence also tarnishes the reputations of these other online companies!!
- johnwL8485CC (10/5): Definitely a repeater! - We would return again, as this is our second time here (both times in February 2024, 2025). We have stayed in the older 2 BR units which were clean and had an updated kitchen. This time we stayed in a 3 BR unit up on the hill with nice view of the gorgeous Bear Lake. One of the nicest layouts and units for a 3 BR we have ever stayed at (18 years in RCI). Definitely want to return in the summer months and this would be a fantastic option for staying again.
- Cody (10/5): - Great place to stay, pool house could use a little work, other then that fun time
- A367LXscottn (2/5): Extra Holidays is a Scam and sad that the hotel won't help at all - I booked a honeymoon through Extra Holidays for my daughter and her husband. Due to bad weather, they couldn't make the trip through the canyon. I called the hotel (WorldMark Bear Lake) that night to let them know they weren't coming and they told me I had to go through Extra Holidays to change dates. The phone number on the Extra Holidays website is not in service, and the number that one tells you to call is the same (complete runaround). I've been emailing them, but just going in circles. Never use Extra Holidays to book a trip...complete scam.
It's also sad that the hotel, which I'm assuming received the money from Extra Holidays won't do anything for us. All I want is for the newlyweds to have a honeymoon.
- Soto (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable and silent
- Tiffany (10/5): Can’t wait to stay again - Location, no cleaning fees, available staff on site, very clean, working grill and patio. Hot tub could have been warmer with working jets
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rylin (10/5): - it was very clean and quiet very out together
- Ben (8/5): Quiet - The place is nice and big. You get a whole apartment for yourself with a fully functioning kitchen and bbq outside Wi-Fi is chargeable… I’m travelling from abroad and it was cheaper to use my data than to pay for their daily WiFi charge
- Alders (9/5): Perfect two days. Such a comfortable place and convenient to everything. - Location was perfect. One bedroom was spacious beyond expectations. Staff was incredibly helpful and the apartment and community was superbly clean! Nothing
- Torrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (2/5): - I booked a stay. Was traveling there and I got an email that they overbooked and they couldn’t get me another room even on another property they had me on hold for 2.5 hours I was let down so was my son. Ruined are weekend plans.
- Anne (10/5): - Super spacious and clean! Highly recommend for families! Bbq grill and a full kitchen.
We spent three nights at Bear Lake. We struggled to find good dining options (there were lots of greasy burger joints, but not much in terms of healthy or fine dining), and you can’t buy beer/wine at the hotel lobby/gift shop. But we did end up getting groceries and making food at home, enjoying the back deck and air conditioning, as well as bicycling the scenic trail. Most of North Beach was underwater, and the crowds were outrageous, so we found other things to do.
- Soloaj (8/5): Good location and large rooms - Walking distance to most areas of the town and Marina. Large and comfortable rooms with an outdoor grill. Nice pools and hot tubs. As with this type of facility you are going to have to take out your own trash and do a good cleaning or you may get hit with a cleaning fee. They hold $250 as a deposit which is very high but I guess they feel the need to do so.
- wfpbchefBecki (10/5): WorldMark quality - Wonderful home base for exploring Bear Lake, which straddles Utah and Idaho. Clean, safe and comfortable, with views of the 'Caribbean of the West'. As with other WorldMark properties, every attention to detail was spot on. Staff warm and friendly. During a several hour deluge of heavy rain, the indoor spa and pool was busy and a welcome place to relax and loosen up travel-weary muscles.
- Callie (10/5): - Very pleasant
- Bailey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfy Weekend Away - Had a quick girls trip with my SIL since I had to do some work in the area. Made a fun weekend out of it. Loved the two bedroom unit with fireplace and full kitchen. It was clean and easy to get to as well as convenient to everything in the area. The staff was wonderful. Fresh cookies upon arrival and technical help from maintenance was lightening fast and so friendly and helpful with no inconvenience at all. They even accommodated an additional hour for checkout for us. Will absolutely stay here again!
- Janel (10/5): Comfy Weekend Away - Had a quick girls trip with my SIL since I had to do some work in the area. Made a fun weekend out of it. Loved the two bedroom unit with fireplace and full kitchen. It was clean and easy to get to as well as convent to everything in the area. The staff was wonderful. Fresh cookies upon arrival and technical help from maintenance was lightening fast and so friendly and helpful with no inconvenience at all. They even accommodated an additional hour for checkout for us. Will absolutely stay here again!
- Mitch (8/5): - This property is a perfect location for getting to events in the area.
- Ralph (8/5): - Didn't tell me there was heavy construction going on all day long and children running upstairs during the day and the BBQ didn't work so the whole stay sucked....
- Allen (10/5): - Loved this place
- Katie (10/5): - Friendly from desk and spacious unit
- Victor (10/5): We loved our stay! - Beautiful rooms and facilities
- Renee (10/5): Best pool and hot tub - Best place to stay! The room had everything. The indoor pool and hot tub were the biggest I’ve ever seen and were open 8a-10p. . Location was perfect for skiing at Beaver Mountain. I would recommend World Mark to everyone.
- Bryan (9/5): The stay was very pleasant and relaxing, we would come back for sure. - I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the place and also the things that were provided (utensils, spices, grill, etc.). Nice location. The amenities seemed really nice as well, pool was very clean, the office and fitness area were in order as well. Small toilets, thin walls, stiff furniture, and paying for internet separately. Seemed like some things were a little "let go" ex: ceiling damage in the pool area.
- Bruce (10/5): - Clean and comfortable.
- Kylon (10/5): - I was very impressed with our stay from the moment I checked in. The staff was extremely friendly, even offering my family fresh baked cookies. We stayed here while snowboarding at Beaver Mountain so most of the restaurants were closed as it was an off season for that area. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, our kids were able to sled on a large hill near the pool. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We were very happy with the size and amenities.
- Alana (8/5): We enjoy this location and to go somewhere that was fully prepared for someone to stay out was great - The accessibility, the location, there were quite a few vehicles around the parking lot but it never felt busy. We loved the kitchen, it had every amenity we needed. The rooms are noisy, the vents were noisy. Everyone the heart would kick on the vents made a clicking noise. Our second morning at 6am a clicking sound started and went on for 10 minutes. I tried searching but couldn't tell what it was or where it was coming from, other than maybe inside the walls.
- Todd (9/5): Superb - Washer and dryer Old compact fluorescent lightbulbs are super dim and need to be replaced with new LEDs. Furnace really loud and might need cleaning. Some basic cooking supplies would be nice. Oil, salt pepper etc
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Quiet get away was perfect. The accommodations were great!
- Lorrie (10/5): - This was a wonderful one bedroom condo. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The coffee maker had an issue; however, they brought us a new one within the hour. We will definitely be back!
- Wen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): - Even in winter, the property looked well-kept. It snowed Thanksgiving day and night but sidewalks were promptly salted or shoveled. I was impressed.
Only suggestion is better signage to find the front desk after entering the property. I had to call the property and they directed me to the building with the front desk.
- Kristi (10/5): Loved this place. Would stay here again! - This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed! It was spotless. All the furniture was comfortable. The place was spacious. The staff was unbeatable! So kind and friendly! Wish there was free wifi.
- Barry (8/5): Very good - Nice place. Central to the area.good price for area.
- Jessi (10/5): - I’ve been to bear lake many times and would absolutely stay here again. It was so comfortable and roomy. It may just be my favorite place to stay in bear lake!
- Ida (8/5): - Ok.
- Kalissa (10/5): - I have been to Bead Lake several times with my family, but this was the 1st time we stayed here and I want to stay here every time. The location was perfect, the view was amazing, we walked right across to the pier for fishing and beach time, the beds were comfortable and pillows great, staff was friendly loved all the pools. I was skeptical because the price was inexpensive, but it exceeded expectations. The only complaint was that our room had an awful smell, we aired it out and it was better, but it was in the towels too.
- Jeanene (9/5): Nice stay - Close to the lake, and big spacious stay, they have indoor pool hot tub Wish they wouldn't do lawn mow and weed eater till 10am it was so loud next to the bedroom window at 8am to early for all that loud noice
- Bigvbear (10/5): Exceptional - It's a complete apartment. Heating, cooling patio, mini fireplace, kitchen everything!
- Ronda (10/5): - nice place
- 363ChristopherW (10/5): Fun Family Getaway - Stayed during Spring Break. The area was covered in lots of snow and everything was still shut down for winter, but we just wanted to get away when the kids were off school. We stayed in the unit most of the time and it was just what we wanted. It was a bit cramped for the 6 of us, but we had a great time. We used the pool a lot. Only a 10 minute drive to the lookout at the top of the mountain behind Garden City, and Bear Lake Valley is gorgeous! Another 5 minutes and we were at the top of Logan Canyon, where we found a great place to sled and play in the snow. The people at the front desk were SO nice and helpful. We rented a movie and they hooked us up with hot chocolate and popcorn. The fitness center is small, but so grateful it was there. It was a great stay, and we look forward to staying again.
- Julia35805 (10/5): Great Resort - Very convenient, great location, nice views. Effective check in and check out, spacious units. The only concern is recycling. We saw only two small bags in the unit for recycling and no recycling bins on a property.
- Chris (8/5): - It was great
- Shane (8/5): - It was great.
- rhu941 (6/5): Used to be much nicer I believe - If you expect great lake views, forget it, as now there is a new condo building blocking most ot the lake view. Everything functioned well, but the flooring did not seem very clean, a bit sticky? cleaning product? but our unit certainly needed new carpet. Also I have never been to a resort where the desk staff is unable to accommodate a change of room assignment, wanted to avoid 2nd floor during winter like conditions. If you booked thru RCI, they were totally unhelpful and unwilling to support making a change!!! This was not an availability issue, occupancy was less than 10% this being the in-between season of November; ie no summer sports and too early for winter sports.
- Q4018HMtomm (8/5): Nice but showing its age. - We arrived in late October and found that the city and surrounding attractions were mostly closed for the "season" ... so when selecting your week, I would select something earlier. Secondly, the timeshare is beginning to show wear/tear on its furniture; .the appliances were in good shape, but WHITE, and the countertops were all formica. So if you are accustomed to newer looking appliances and granite or quartz countertops, you may want to reconsider.
- April (10/5): - Good location and well maintained. Helpful staff. Had a great time.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (2/5): - To be told the day before beginning our trip that Worldmark "Can't Honor Your Booking", especially after having received automated emails describing the parking and anticipating our arrival, is more than distressing. Expedia January 11, 2022: "We're confirming your stay at Worldmark Bear Lake". If booking of a certain number of units by 3rd parties is to be part of the business plan. Those bookings must be recognized. A booking of seven months prior should never be cancelled without weeks of warning and arrangements for alternative accommodations.
- shanloraine (2/5): Don't book through Extra Holidays - I booked through Extra Holidays. 24 hours before our check-in they called us and said they had overbooked and cancelled our reservation. I had booked this family vacation SIX MONTHS prior. They did try to offer us a backup option but the only option they gave us was the Holiday Inn Express in Logan which is through the Canyon an hour away. No bueno!
- William (10/5): - Beautiful area
- Mike (8/5): - Beautiful view of lake
- Logan (10/5): - Wonderful property. Kichen well stocked with basics, pools area was clean, plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. Town and marina was within easy walking distance from hotel. Definitely would stay here again. Lake is beautiful!!
- gil (10/5): - Great location
- Mandy N. (10/5): Very Nice! - The condo was great! Very clean and the staff was amazing to deal. We had another group we were meeting and they were able to get both condos close to each other. Even though we didn't book the trip together.
- Wesley (10/5): Charging for wifi - Really amazing place. Great views and spacious room.
Only complaint is the extra charge for Wifi…I can’t remember the last time I has to pay for that separately
- Lori (10/5): Bear Lake Favorite - Beautiful place to stay! Rooms are spacious and comfortable! We loved the indoor pool and close proximity to the lake and bike path! We will stay her again!
- Jeralyn (6/5): - Everything was great except for checking in. They said they didnt have our reservations. They were pretty rude about it. They made me call expedia. Expedia was great. The girls at worldmark were rude, telling us they always have problems with expedia reservations.
- bmccarrey (10/5): Fun family stay - Me and my family stayed in a 2-bedroom room located on the first floor/ground level floor. Our room could sleep up to 6 guests using the Murphy bed in the main room. No units were above ours.
Overall very pleased with our stay. The beds were very comfortable and we’re actually considering buying the same mattress, it really was that comfortable. We had a king bed in our room and the second bedroom had 2 twin beds.
Two bathrooms- one located inside the master bedroom, and one located next to the second bedroom, but no access to it from inside the bedroom. Both bathrooms had bathtub/shower combos. Two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom provided for our week stay. There were five pool towels provided located in the bathroom. A small shampoo/conditioner combo bottle was provided in each bathroom. A bar of facial soap and a bar of body soap was provided in each bathroom. We used those bar soaps for hand soap in the bathrooms and at the kitchen. We brought our own toiletries to use. Water got hot pretty fast (water heater located inside the condo).
Each garbage had two replacement trash bags inside. Under the sink there was a recycling bag we didn’t use. The dumpsters at the resort have a garbage dumpster and a recycling dumpster.
The kitchen had mostly everything you’d need. 2 dishwashing packets were provided but I brought my own. Two paper towel rolls provided. There were 6 spice packs provided but there was no salt and pepper. The freezer has an ice maker. See the pictures in my review. The oven drawer contains a small cookie sheet, pizza pan, and a pizza slicer.
Two laundry soap packets were provided but I brought my own laundry soap. I did laundry everyday, sometimes multiple times a day when we did pool/lake stuff. Both washer/dryer were small so don’t expect to do regular sized loads.
I can’t comment on the outdoor pool as it was closed for the season, but the indoor pool was great. It goes as deep as 5 feet. The indoor kiddie pool is 2 feet deep. While we did not use the spa we noticed that other guests were able to turn the jets on themselves. There are bathrooms located in the pool area.
There was a fire pit located between our building and the next, quiet hours start at 10pm. Bring your own wood.
Also might be good to know that you may not have a great view of the lake from your room. There is a resort located right in front of Worldmark. I would guess you are probably able to see parts of the lake from any unit but not a completely unobstructed view because of buildings and trees. Don’t know if that matters to you but I thought I’d share. We also were ground level so that made it a little worse for view purposes.
There’s a gift shop at Worldmark that sells water shoes and individual swim diapers (S/M/L). If your kid is still in diapers it is required to wear a swim diaper in the pool.
Cons:
-When I entered the condo for the first time there were about 6-8 flies hanging around the kitchen area/ceiling. Consider bringing fly trap tape and a fly swatter.
-It’s ridiculous that you have to pay for internet, and plans are based on the number of devices you want to connect. 2,5, and 8 device plans available. You set up the plan you want on your device in your room. No Ethernet available, so just WiFi. There should just be a flat rate per condo if you are going to charge at all. I strongly feel internet should be free as most places you go this day and age offer free internet with your stay.
-No salt and pepper, even though a handful of other spices were provided.
-When the dryer is finished it makes an extremely loud buzzer noise. No way to avoid it unless you open the dryer before it’s done. Heads up to families with napping kids or doing laundry at bedtime.
-The layout of the condo makes sound echo from the main room into the bedrooms. So if some people go to bed early they’ll hear everything from the main room almost as if they were in the same room.
-The dumpster was located pretty far away from our unit, but that is because we were in building 6. The other units are closer to dumpsters to throw your trash away.
Overall a great stay. I would stay again if I’m back at bear lake. This review represents the specific condo we stayed in- so other condos on the property could be different.
- CindyFLTA (10/5): Large, comfortable, clean place to stay - Loved our stay here for 2 nights. Having the kitchen and washer and dryer was a great bonus. Nice fireplace in the living room. Staff was friendly and check in was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again.
- Gurpreet (8/5): - Please offer breakfast with the stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We really loved our time here! Everything was super clean, nice and stuff was amazing!! We’ll definitely come back!!
- Rochelle (10/5): Comfortable Condos that feel like Home. - This was a condo type place that was worth the book. Definitely comfortable and spacious. Our family enjoyed the place and loved how it felt like like home. The condo had nice views of Bear Lake. We weren't too far from Beaver Mountain resort and the many places to eat.
- Darrell (8/5): Bring is a plunger - Great location very clean. We were a little nervous with Covid but I think they did a great job at providing a safe environment. The room was perfect.
We had some plumbing issues in the bathroom. Shower was hard to turn on, and the toilet plugged up. There was no plunger and when we called the office they told us to come and get a plunger if we wanted it. It was during a late night snow storm but we were disappointed with that.
We have stayed here before so although we were not happy, we likely would come again.
- D (6/5): - Extra charge for wi-fi. Wifi charge increases with the number of devices connecting. Also could hear the neighbors taking and snoring through the walls. No light blocking curtains. A lot of light comes through the mini blinds making it hard to sleep.
- Nancy (6/5): - The desk clerk had a hard time checking us in and then put us in the wrong room. We were notified the next day of the mix up and had to load everything up again and move rooms. Also, the indoor pool was very cold.
- kschmidt24 (8/5): Great family getaway - We visited Worldmark Bear Lake over Fall Break. The staff were attentive, helpful (thanks for the tip on where to get the best raspberry shakes), and cheerful. Despite it being the slow season we felt that the resort was in great condition and we were well taken care of. The pool could have been warmer (that’s the only thing keeping me from giving the resort a 5).
