Guest Reviews
- Diane (10/5): Nice resort along the river - Beautiful location, riverside path, quiet property, friendly staff, full kitchen Nothing
- Sonia (10/5): Willing to comeback again soon - Great place, calm, clean and quiet Na
- 697arjuns (10/5): An excellent Time share near Rocky Mountain National Park - This Time share is excellent. It is well kept up with wifi, washer/dryers, full kitchens, comfortable beds, and outside swimming pool and hot tubs. The rooms are quiet, and the beds comfortable. The location is very convenient in the town of Estes Park near restaurants, grocery store, and 4 minutes drive to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. We really enjoyed our 5 day stay.

- Rachel (10/5): Great trip! - There was breakfast...?! Loved the pool, the location right on the river was so beautiful. Appreciated the toiletries in the bathroom. Loved having a microwave and it was great they had movies and games people can borrow! The $250 upfront deposit is wrong. I understand they give it back, but there is no need to charge someone unless there is an issue with the stay. I wish that the booking was done through the actual location, not external sources. The external sources booking made the location feel shady, like it was a scam. Grateful it was a great trip!
- warrenmtoman (10/5): Nice place - Had a great river view. Saw wildlife too. Needed some minor room service and it was provided quickly.
- Sally (10/5): -
- Kathy (7/5): Not much to do in Estes Park, so I don't see myself returning. - Good from downtown. Nice surroundings. Game room. Interior looked pleasant. Bed was very comfortable. Slept well. Clean bathrooms. Fix pool table. Couches not comfy.
- lobsterbacks (8/5): Nice place and won’t hesitate to return for a three- bedroom condo to include the whole family. Appreciate the stream! - Good location for sure- Estes is wonderful. Nothing wrong but didn’t compare with other world mark properties. No programs. Not helpful when asking housekeepers to ‘come by,’ just asked what we needed and they brought sheets and towels for us to refresh ourselves.
- Lee (9/5): Will be returning - No complaints No
- Dax892 (10/5): Beautiful spot along the river - The two-bedroom condos are a bit dark, but the property is beautiful and has elk and deer wandering through! It's also great to have more than one hot tub, as there are options if one is closed for maintenance.
- AbsolutelyDubrovnik (2/5): Don’t believe a confirmed reservation is actually real. . - Don’t trust a ‘confirmed’ reservation here. Reserved and Received confirmation for 3 rooms for a large, special family trip. When we arrived we found that they were oversold. It appears this is a common occurrence as they plan for a number of cancellations. It appears that they knew they didn’t have the rooms we had reserved days before and hadn’t contacted us ( presumably because we would cancel and find our own alternative accommodation) . Instead they booked us into 3 different, very poor hotels, splitting up the family group. Truly very very poor business practices.
- Elizabeth (9/5): - Comfortable enough; quiet, enjoyed having the wildlife walking through the parking lot. Hot tub was a pleasant way to finish off a long day. Nice to have kitchen facilities so we did not have to eat out. Living room was a bit cramped with the dining table and a coffee table in the studio. Closet was placement made it harder to spread out luggage
- Nir (8/5): - Was ok. Bed frame was a bit damaged
- Judi (8/5): Wonderful, helpful staff and an older bit beautiful place to stay with all necessary items provided in kitchen to cook a - Beautiful views! The furniture in room not very comfortable, but it was acceptable with all of the other positives we experienced! Wish. The bed was more comfy also but for price and short stay was ok.
- Sok hwee (9/5): The hotel is next to a river and it’s peaceful and quiet. - Having a kitchenette was very helpful. It would have been better if a kettle was provided so we can easily boil some hot water. No kettle.
- Joanna (9/5): Fab location and amazing staff! - Staff were super helpful and friendly. Location great for getting to the RMNP and Smokey Dave’s grill! Great to have a washer and dryer in our apartment. Carpets were quite old and some of the furnishing dated

- agala0226 (10/5): Great Place to Stay Near Rocky Mountain NP - I booked this stay through my capital one card. It is a cute little timeshare type resort where each room has a kitchenette, dining area, sitting area, bedroom and bathroom. The property had multiple pools and hot tubs as well as gorgeous views of the rocky mountains. There is a little stream going through the property which makes for a perfect reading spot.
There is real reason that this place deserves 5 stars is the staff. This property does not have 24/7 reception since this is a Wyndham timeshare property. I was due to arrive during reception hours, but a flight delay made us arriving 2 hours after reception closed. I was panicking because it says in the fine print of the booking that if you are late you will be marked as a no show and they can give your room away. The manager of the front desk (I believe her name was Jennifer) was super helpful and put out keys in a lock box for us outside the lobby for when we arrived.
Great place to stay if you are trying to go to RMNP and see a little quiet town in Colorado.

- 928curtw (8/5): Location Location Location - Great property for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. Only 10 minutes from the park entrance. This property is also on the Estes Park Free trolley route that provides access to all of Estes Park. My wife and I stayed in a Studio which sleeps more like a small one bedroom with two separate rooms. Well stocked Mini kitchen with two burner stove, microwave and mini fridge. Queen size bed was sufficient and very comfortable. Bathroom could be a challenge for older guests being elevated off the floor and requiring two large steps to get in and out of the tub/shower. Great stay with friendly staff that provided anything we needed within minutes of a phone call including towels, a toaster and even a clogged shower drain. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area.
- Eusebio (10/5): - It was quiet and serene.
- Linda (8/5): - The unit we stayed in was very nice. Staff were very pleasant as well. The complex was located very close to one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park and that was great. The complex was clean and quiet. Just on the edge of town, there were still a few nice restaurants nearby.
- Schumacher (10/5): We had a great stay and would stay at this property again in the future. - Great location and laundry facilities were helpful to pack less for our trip. n/a
- Ian (10/5): - Everything at the location was great, it had all the amenities that we needed for a short stay in Estes Park.
We were disappointed to find though that the WiFi access wasn’t free so we didn’t sign up for the service.
- tzvi (10/5): -
- Frank (8/5): - Loved the creek view No free wifi
- 897robinw (10/5): wonderful - Resort and our room exceded our expectations. We had booked a studio, but it was actually more like a 1 bedroom. Room was clean and cofortable. Hot tub and pool were both very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hiking and wildlife around Estes and RMNP cannot be beat. There are a lot of dining and shopping options in Estes. Loved seeing the elk.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brend482 (10/5): Great option in Estes Park - There aren’t a lot of chain hotels in Estes and the WorldMark by Wyndham was not a brand I was familiar with, but it was a great choice. The location is terrific just outside the entrance to RMNP and a mile from downtown Estes. The suite I got was huge, well-equipped with kitchen, updated furnishings and nice room art. There are good amenities including a pool, laundry, and fitness room. A stream runs beside the property and they have fishing poles to loan guests, plus movies and board games to borrow. My experience with lodges and motels near national parks is that they are frequently high-priced and not very nice or comfortable. But the price and quality were both better than I expected and it was a very nice stay.
- Fred (10/5): - Great place to stay. Great value.
- L8776UWmichaelb (4/5): don’t stay you will feel like a second class guest. - charge for internet.
Treat non WorldMark clients as 2 nd class citizens, including Wyndham timeshare owners and Wyndham hotel.
I can see where they are driving there business to bankruptcy, squeezing every dollar from clients.
Queen size bed
- Emily (2/5): - Overbooked, so put us in a Holiday Inn instead. No refund. No compensation. No other option. The new hotel charged us more taxes and fees that we had to pay out of pocket after checking in, that Expedia nor the WorldMark will cover.
Overall, got told we did not have a room, put us in a completely different hotel, had to pay even extra for said new hotel. No refund issued despite being told I would receive one. Such an inconvenience and was given the option to either not have a place to stay or to stay at this new hotel.
- JERILYNN (10/5): Nice place near RMNP. - There were 2 couples that stated in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment type unit. It worked out very well. It was clean and overall comfortable. The pool wasn't open yet but the 2 outdoor hot tubs that we used were great!
- Sarah katherine (10/5): - The staff were amazing to talk to.
- Christopher (10/5): - Location!!
- derek (8/5): - We love this place. Stay there every time.
But $50 for wifi? Hope this isnt the new norm everywhere
- JudyS1584 (10/5): Family Vacation - Beautiful facility Beautiful Mountain views excellent staff and rooms were clean and well stocked with everything needed to cook meals
- Alexandra (10/5): - Comfy, spacious apartment with gorgeous views
- Kent (10/5): - Very nice rooms. Quiet. Loved it.
- Wayne (8/5): Very good -
- Kristi (6/5): - Not exactly as advertised. Bed had spiders in it. WiFi costs money. Not worth what we paid for a standard room. Never saw any fireplace. Like the movie rentals though
- Kirk (6/5): - We stayed in a studio and it wasn't anything special. Walls are a bit thin so we hear people below us sneezing. Also, there should never be a fee for Wi-Fi in this day and age yet this place charges $10/day if you're not a member. Probably wouldn't stay here again.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - We loved the location of the property and the staff was very friendly!
- Starr (10/5): - We had a great experience, easy and convenient and great facility amenities. We would definitely stay again. Customer service was amazing!
- Rose (8/5): - This stay was great, beautiful grounds, fruendly staff, big hot tub and our condo was very clean. The only downfall was the kitchen needed more cooking pans. But we will be coming back soon.
- Todd (10/5): - Great access to RMNP and nice accommodations with a friendly staff
- Brenden (10/5): - Love the location of the property and the staff are always incredibly nice and helpful.
- Luis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (10/5): Relaxing family trip - Beautiful comfy and amazing service
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arlene (8/5): Very good -
- Nazarena (10/5): My friends loved it - Fireplace, spa pool, barbecue pit Had everything i needed
- Miller (10/5): It was an excellent stay and the team members were very hospitable. They went out of their way to make dining and entert - It was conveniently located and quiet. Very enjoyable. I would stay again. N/A
- jrod61979 (8/5): Great stay - Very good stay vacation with my family!!! 5 miles away from therocky mountains 🏔️!! Very close to everything, stores, restaurants, movie theater!!!
- Welty (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about this place was amazing. Even had a washer and dryer
- Rr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Londa (8/5): Overall good location to all activities and we would stay here again. - Great location to downtown, to Rocky Mountain National Park and trails. This property is part of a resort, so they can charge you extra on holidays. Our room did not have any hooks or closet space to hang clothes. The shower was tiny.
- Johnson (2/5): - Arrived at front desk. They said Expedia canceled our reservation, that this often happens with Expedia. Left me booking a reservation 50 miles away.
- Abigail (1/5): Disgusting - This property cancelled my reservation the night before I was due to arrive. They said unforeseen circumstances, however I went there to check there was no other reason than it was a festival and they gave my room to a bigger group to make more money. I will never book a World Mark property again. They didn’t even rebook me, and told me to contact booking.com to help. I ended up paying 600 dollars more as I had booked this months before and there was nothing left and what was available was at premium rate. Booking.com also told me to rebook myself and they couldn’t help. The hotel has not even sent me my full pre payment back yet. What a terrible hotel with such bad practices. You don’t deserve any customers There practices. There lack of service. Everything
- Barbara (10/5): - This was a great place to stay. The location was great. We enjoyed the views, the spa and the river. The only downside was that you had to pay for internet. We couldn’t use our phones unless we went outside.
- Srishti (2/5): - Beware - they will cancel your booking at the last minute. I made my booking 7 months in advance and they cancelled it 1 day prior to the check in date without any explanation whatsoever. I would have had to cancel the entire trip to RMNP if I didn't find an alternative accomodation at a much higher price
- peg (8/5): - Room eas clean and the property in good condition
- slimdave (10/5): Lovely - Really enjour stay here, apartment was lovely... had some new carpets, appliances and stuff...yes a little dated but overall a really nice Comfortable place to stay. Staff friendly. Location soir on for what we wanted to do. I'd recommend and would stay again
- Joanne (8/5): Great location near to RMNP - The apartment was confortable and well equipped. The entrance to RMNP is literally a few minutes drive. Elk came into the car park and grounds in the evening which was lovely to see. We were disappointed that we did not have a balcony or terrace or any real outside space. Being on the ground floor we found the noise from the people in the apartment above us was quite loud and we were woken several times. We tried to request a first floor apt but none were available.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- E2775NRtanyaf (10/5): Relaxation break - Beautiful location with friendly and helpful staff.
The self contained unit certainly helped make our week more flexible and relaxing.
Shops, cafes and restaurants close by and courtesy bus right outside to take you into town.
Beautiful views of mountains and lake runs right out the front
- Elizabeth (2/5): - I booked a week stay six months in advance. I got an email the night before check-in time that the property was overbooked and they were not able to fulfill my reservation. I have no idea what the property was like since I never set foot on it.
- Sariya (1/5): Bad - everything is perfect except the staff. She kind of racialised me because Im an Asian i can tell.
The hotel was double charged me. I called to talk about the payment about 5 times, they keep saying that the manager wasnt there. I also contact Booking.com 4 times to help me follow up the double charged payment but they only talk to the hotel and they told me “the hotel really has charged me, they going to tell the manager for refund but right now they couldnt do anything because the manager wasnt there”
Right now, its been a month I havent get any refund even email or call back! for both Booking.com or the hotel!!!
it is a really nice place, but the service is really bad though
- Pauline (6/5): Nice Place - Needs A Little TLC - It’s a cute place! The staff was exceptionally kind! It’s close to RMNP and downtown. You are on the river and can see the mountains. Our room was not quite like it was pictured online. We didn’t have a pull out sofa either. The spas were dirty and the jets didn’t work. The entire place looked much nicer in photographs.
- Susan (2/5): - We reserved a 2 bedroom rental six months prior to our June stay. On the day of arrival we got a call we were downgraded to 2 studios. About 4 hours after the call we got to the site only to be told there is only 1 studio with a max occupancy of 2 people. We had 3 people in our party so now we are left with no place to stay. Agent was rude at the desk with no apology after being left without a place to stay after a confirmed reservation 5 months ago. Expedia found a nice hotel to stay in but we missed the opportunity for a 2 bedroom site with laundry after travelng 2 weeks in many hotels. DONT BOOK THIS SITE.
- Sigrid (7/5): Great site. Missing WiFi if not a time share user - Clean, quiet, beautiful setting No WiFi included. Strange pricing options. They didn’t mention free WiFi available in lobby until checkout.
Bathroom could do with some minor updates. Toilet seat very old. Soap holder as well
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- G7086IWdavidw (6/5): So, so - would not recommend - The scenes are spectacular, the room was nice, and the folks there were friendly - however at check out, we were told we had not paid the taxes (we booked our reservation through a third party), so we paid them. Upon returning home, we found the receipt from our original booking and realized we HAD paid the taxes. I called the Estes Park office. They said that they cannot help me. Also, you have to pay for internet access! Very pricey place to begin with, and there are plenty of other places to stay in Estes Park. I would not recommend it.
- Donna (7/5): Disappointing for such a nice property. Charged twice for taxes and they charge for wifi. - World Mark charges extra to access their WiFi. That was a bummer. We also got overcharged, for the taxes, which Booking.com already collected. Now neither one is willing to reimburse us.
- dorisw686 (6/5): Just okay - We've stayed at this resort 3-4 times. It's a convenient location and the size of the 3 bedroom unit is good. Most of our complaints are small; such as the loud and clunky ice maker. It can actually wake you up. The door to the shower would not close completely. For some reason it took at least 3-4 minutes for hot water to get to any of the faucets. We hate wasting water and it made no sense as each unit appears to stand alone and the water heater was most likely in the locked hall closet. This is a resort that doesn't provide wifi/internet. The cost for the service isn't exorbitant but it feels like nickel and diming the guests.
- bijou59 (2/5): Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had - The absolute worst travel experience of my life.
We checked in and the area at the front desk reeked of alcohol. Either a bottle of alcohol was dropped or there had been an early holiday weekend celebration by the staff.
The only person at the front desk checked us in. If I asked any questions while he was explaining the amenities, where the hot tubs were etc., I got a look of distain and he would start all over. I realized that an order to get done with the checking in process I had to just let him say everything and not ask any questions.
It went downhill from there.
Good points: The place is clean, nice, etc. Good if you are looking to explore the Stanley Hotel, cute little downtown, and hike the area.
- Armaan (8/5): Very good - Absolutely perfect for a solo traveler for the Rockies. Perfect location, audio with cooking amenities, comfortable, nice spot on the river Pay for WiFi is literally the only "meh", though you're not in Estes to be online so not really an issue.
- Glenn (9/5): Comfortable stay in a good location at Estes Park - Good location, clean facilities and friendly staff. Free wi-fi not included for non-timeshare users.
- Rachael3933 (2/5): Terrible, horrible, unprofessional, unacceptable - Shame on you! After months of planning and booking in advance, I booked a stay here and flew all the way to Colorado from California, with a baby. This morning, the day of my check in, I received a call from this resort saying they canceled my room for “unforeseen circumstances”, which no further explanation, no apology, and they didn’t care to even offer a solution. They told me to figure it out by calling Expedia. How Incredibly unprofessional. Additionally, no hotels were available nearby and also not equivalent to the needs of our family. To call me the day of, while I was on my way to the hotel, and cancel without a valid reason is completely unacceptable. Unless you are are willing to ruin your entire planned vacation and with children, which is already stressful on its own, I wouldn’t recommend booking here. To give the hotel the benefit of the doubt I looked it up to see if burned down or it blew down due to a tornado, or if there was a plausible explanation. Nope. What a terrible experience and company. Shame on you to leave a family with a baby stranded in another state with no place to go, after months of planning ahead and paying in advance to stay at your resort. What a nightmare.
- Holly (8/5): - Beautiful condo room. Loved being on lower level by the river. Was put in an ada which was not needed but still nothing to be bothered about. All appliances were awesome and functioning. Couldn't figure out how to use the dvd player but again not a big deal! Would love to have had a firepit out off our patio but again, no big deal! I think our biggest issue was check out time! Waaay to early. 11:00 am is early but pretty much the standard and we thought it was 11:00am until we got a phone call right about 10:00 am and had to scramble, no showers, no breakfast to get out in time without any extra charges. Other than that, it was a great stay!
- Hyunmo (10/5): - Quiet location close to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Very large rooms with full kitchen.
Helpful kind staff.
Definitely will back again.
- rvenecia5 (10/5): Great stay at Estes Park/Rocky Mountains. - We had a great stay in late April to beginning of May. It snowed during our stay. The resort is absolutely great. Hot tubs were maintained and clean. There is a great view of a stream flowing right by the resort. Elk are present on the property and they just mind their own business. Plenty of BBQ pits on the property. Everything is so close by the resort. All in all it was a great stay for us.
- Kayla (10/5): - Good
- Dennis (8/5): Great find in Estes Park - This is the 2nd time we stayed here. Location is great. Price is right for a 2 bedroom suite. Kitchen is very sparse. I know it is a hotel but if you are coming from out of state, you won't have any spices or storage containers.
The ONLY negative was that you had to pay (a LOT) for internet wifi. I have traveled a ton for pleasure and business for 20 years. I haven't paid for wifi since about 2009. And definitely not the price they wanted. You kind of needed to do it too if you wanted to watch anything other than the basic cable they had.
- Campagna (9/5): Superb - Space and kitchen Not on river as requested
No real late check out
M
No mingling places to know each other also requested to be by hot tub..not given any of the requested items
- Plubplung (9/5): Amazing place to stay. - Beautiful place to stay at a foot of the Rocky Mountains. The river behind our room is just steps away. None
- Brenda (4/5): Disappointing - Location was good Not many items in kitchen that were useful, bare minimum, bare.
- Ara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marla Sue (8/5): - Staff was very informative. Room was clean, but needs updating.
- 2018SpringBreak2018 (2/5): Horrible checkin-customer service-stay - We went by around 2pm to check in on the room. The room was not ready…room was still not ready by 4pm. The lady at the front desk said they would call. By 5:30pm, I had to call them and they said “oh it is ready!”
No hot water the first two days.
I was told there would be a $250 security hold on my credit card (3/16/23) for the week. Instead they went ahead and charged me $119.98 for no reason that day.
Do not recommend this resort to anyone. They do not tell the truth but act like they are the best resort in Estes Park. I recommend Rams Horn Village Resort!
- Joseph (8/5): Relaxing property in beautiful surroundings, worth the money. - The WorldMark Estes Park feels like a home away from home where you literally can do your own cooking, etc. No disturbances and staff is easy to reach and very helpful. The grounds are in beautiful surroundings which only heightens your feeling of relaxation. The water pressure in the shower head could be better.
- amcknight8 (8/5): Beautiful - Myself, my husband and our 5 children stayed there in October. The resort is a perfect location of mountain views and quick access to town. We had Elk at our doors in the mornings and fished right there in the creek (we saw lots of fish but never did catch any). During the fall/winter is when most resorts do construction and winter-proofing so one of the hot tubs were down but the big main one was open for nightly soaks after our hikes. The ping-pong tables were fun for when it was raining or for a chill evening. It wasn't the biggest room compared to other resorts we have stayed at but it got the job done! We will definitely be going back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Place was great. Beautiful surroundings, easy drive to town and park, had everything we needed.
- Mikayla (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, nice size apartment! There were checkout duties like taking out all the trash that were expected but I couldn’t find listed on the site, so that would have been nice to know
- Navaskhan (10/5): - Excellent service
All the needed amenities were available and well maintained
- Larry J. (4/5): - I purchased a 2 bedroom suite and when I arrived at the facility I was told the no 2 bedroom suite were available and was given 2 one bedroom rooms. It was totally unsuitable as I was celebrating my birthday and the one bedroom room too crowded with 4 adults. I was very disappointed with this arrangement. I have stayed there on 2 different occasions and has excellent service and accommodations.
