• Heidi (6/5): Ok for a one night stay to see the city - Nice comfortable room, great view of the mountains. Centrally located. Public toilets were shocking! Breakfast was basic and not very tasty.

• Ayodhani (9/5): - Hotel is situated at easily accessible location. You can reach there in 5 minutes though a heavy traffic is ongoing in Kandy city. Hotel staff is so commited to hosting and provide satisfying survice to clients. They value each of their guests. Good communication, tasty breakfast, comfortable room , easy accessibility and well experienced supportive staff make the Hotel so warmth to be staying.

Restaurant was closed which meant that the breakfast was a chicken sandwich from another hotel - wasn’t great. The hotel was quite run down and in need of repair. Loud at night and the advertisement lights stay on all night, lighting up your room which made it difficult to sleep.

• Matthew (6/5): Pleasant - Very easy hotel to find and was a good stop over for a night. Rooms clean and very big with a great view of the mountains. Manager Widura was very welcoming on arrival offering to help with the sights of Kandy. The hotel almost seemed empty with little to no people seen around the hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by bandara who kindly carried our bags to the room. Following this he became very insistent to make sure I was enjoying my stay and it came across as overbearing and made me and partner a bit uncomfortable. I think the staff just need to relax as the hotel is good for the price and they did a good job.
• Amit (7/5): The hotel is properly located in Kandy city but they have to take buying price of dollars for bill - The location is in proper city area an the hotel also has hill view rooms. The room rate was reasonable. The Final payment charged was taking the booking.com price and converting it to LKR by taking selling price of Dollar. It is not correct as we paid in LKR through credit card and did not give the hotel dollars in cash for them to sell.

• Uchitha (4/5): Very poor hotel however the staff were very nice and tried really hard - We arrived at the property and were kindly greeted by the staff. They tried their best despite the lack of facilities at this hotel. I have to say Mr Bandara and the other workers were exceptional with their service. Only a superhero could fix some of the things wrong with this hotel. Well for one when you pay for a hotel we expect to have a properly functioning shower 😂 I felt like I was being pranked. The shower was broken and I alerted the front desk. This was done around 7.30pm and a maintenance person did come out and sort the issue however it was around 9.15pm. One of the lights in our room did not work and the blinds in the room were broken. Given the central location in the city I expected WiFi to be reasonable but it was very average, just used mobile hotspot There is no value here. We booked this place last minute and thought it would be ok and our expectations were quite low. This place managed to actually go below my expectations 😂🤦‍♂️

Tv was not working. Not value for money. Restaurant is not suitable for a hotel. Availability of foods and beverage were limited. Limited staff to serve.

• Agne (9/5): Superb - 5-Star Review for a Hotel in Kandy I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Kandy! The highlight was definitely the breathtaking mountain and train view—truly unforgettable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the entire place was spotless, and the hot water worked perfectly. The hotel had a lovely, fresh smell throughout, and its central location on the main road made it super convenient to explore the city. A special shoutout to Manager Bandara, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. He helped arrange a tuk-tuk and even took a lovely photo for me to keep as a memory. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kandy! Room 116 could use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all—it’s such a minor thing compared to everything else.

Our room was really clean and nice, with everything you might need and with an amazing view. Also the location is great! Close to Kandy Town, to the train station and there are many nice restaurants and shops in the neighborhood! We would definitely love to come again!

Check in process took a long time and after two days trekking we were not in the mood for it. Got charged more than the rate stated by booking.com. Manager was a little overbearing constantly asking about dinner and breakfast and checkout time etc. We just wanted to relax! Had an issue with the hot water at night that didn't fully function until the next morning. Again not ideal after two days of trekking. Overall the manager needs to relax a little and let guests come to him rather than being overbearing on them. The hot water should function all the time not just in a morning. The check in process needs to be quicker and easier and charge the correct price!

The details that the hotel published in the room description are not accurate. In the room description that the hotel published, it is explicitly written that there is a balcony, but there is no balcony in the room. For people that smoke it is problematic because it forces them to go up three floors to the roof of the hotel to smoke a cigarette
• Sadisha (10/5): Amazingly Calm and Quiet Hotel right next to Kandy City - Staff is very friendly attentive and helpful. Clean rooms and facilities. Very quiet place even though it was right next to the busy Peradeniya Main Street. My brother and I visited Kandy to watch The Dalada Perahara and we came back in the early morning around 1.30, Mr. Bandara (The Hotel Manager) was still there to open the doors for us, we are very grateful for your kindness. We had a very comfortable and a pleasant stay. Thank you for everything and will visit again. Sadisha & Chamin
