Guest Reviews
- George (10/5): - We had a wonderful visit......great old home, well maintained, personable owner, very nice historic town. Great trip....I would highly recommend the Valley House Inn to anyone considering visit this very scenic area.
- Ethan Holliday (10/5): Awesome! - We absolutely loved our stay here! Rachel (the host) was seriously incredible and went out of her way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. She is so sweet and my wife and I were incredibly impressed with her service. The rooms are cozy and cute and it was an awesome experience overall.
- Susan (10/5): - This was a fun experience. I am not usually a B&B type person but Rachel (the owner) was so welcoming and the Inn was so delightful, we loved it. She has thought of everything a guest could possibly want from earplugs by the bed to biscotti by the coffee pot. Breakfast was delish and Rachel fully supports local vendors.
- Gregory f (10/5): Best service ever - We stayed for our anniversary. The service was the best I've ever seen in my life. The host was so nice and accomadating. There was a heart in rose pedals on the bed when we arrived, a note, rose with vase, and a whole list of other presents for us to take home. The room was great and there is a cool breakfast nook to eat at. Breakfast was delicious and filling. I would definitely recommend it.
- Aaron (10/5): The most enjoyable experience we’ve ever had - The room was perfect. The breakfast was 3 amazing courses and we ate it on a private balcony/alcove. All the little extras were so thoughtful and personalized. All the toiletries were local, eco friendly or both. Rachel was very knowledgeable and helpful in finding things to do while we were in town.
- Blakely (10/5): - Rachel was phenomenal. I went up for a short but much-needed break and she provided quiet and comfort. Beautiful place and even got a complimentary upgrade to the nicest room. Would highly recommend and will go back to support her business. I'd give more than 5 stars if it were an option.
- Ann (10/5): Apple Picking! - If you've ever wanted to be treated like royalty, choose Valley House Inn. All the reviews agree. Though they sound perfect and you might be a skeptic. Not this time. BELIEVE every work.
I'd like to recommend Valley House Inn in the fall. We went the first of October. The backyard has three apple trees that Rachael shares, even lets you pick. Imagine, apple picking on a crisp fall day! (And cleaning up the cherry tomatoes before a freeze.
A visit to Valley House Inn refreshes your soul!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Valley Inn is amazing! - Oh, my goodness! The Valley Inn in Huntsville, UT was fabulous. Rachel, the owner, treats you royally . She cooks, and delivers, a tasty 3 course breakfast to your very own private room. The setting is amazing. Beautiful, 100+ year old trees surround the inn. The room has a bathtub, the bathroom has a shower. Cable TV, including Netflix & Prime, comfortable air conditioned room.
- Lisa (10/5): Best hotel hands down - I was having a really bad day. The first hotel we checked into that day was a nightmare. I found this hotel on my hotels.com app. It was beyond amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. It had the best locally made soap, i loved it to so much we found the store and bought a bunch. This is where u need to stay if u are looking to have a calm and comfortable environment. Its close to the lake and the mountains. The breakfast provided is the best breakfast i have ever had. The home cooked meal is a perfect way to wake up. I honestly plan on going back as soon as i find the time. The extra drive from ogden is def worth it. My entire family loved it and it was an awesome place to celebrate my birthday.

She in an incredible vegan cook and I would recommend asking her to cook you a few vegan meals. I assure you, you won't regret it. In particular the jackfruit tacos are AWESOME!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Not only were the accommodations and food great, but Cathy went out of her way to help us. Cathy helped me with my cold (she had all natural immune booster drops) and readily accommodated my gluten free diet. The yummy breakfasts kept us going on the ski slopes most of the day. A sauna in the room was an added bonus.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stay was super nice and the room was beautiful. Thanks again .
- David (10/5): - A very pleasant bed & breakfast in a quiet little town (during the off-season at least).
- Lori (10/5): Perfect Get-Away B&B - This is an old historic house that has been turned into a Bed & Breakfast. The owners were very helpful and accommodating! The rooms were comfy and clean. We were in town for a wedding and it was the perfect location. We used the suite during the day for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready for the event. It was very close to the wedding venue and the Shooting Star Saloon. We would stay there again for a weekend get-away.
- John (10/5): A very warm and friendly place - We had a fantastic stay, Nicole and Brit were very warm and friendly, we felt welcomed the moment we walked through the door, I will definitely be going back again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice place.
- David (10/5): A Gem - Our stay at this adorable B&B was outstanding. Our room was cozy and clean, and the proprietors provided excellent service. The historic building is conveniently located to all of the attractions and recreational activities in Ogden Valley. We stayed for four nights, and at the end of each day we were excited to get back to our cozy room. We highly recommend this property.
- Dave and Gloria (8/5): - The Inn was beautiful and in the historic part of town. The couple who own the Bed and Breakfast were so friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and filling. We look forward to staying there again.
- Angels (10/5): I was pleasantly surprised! - Professional and friendly. I highly recommend this location.
- Michael (10/5): Amazing Bed & Breakfast in Quite Mountain Town - This was an amazing Bed and Breakfast in a quite mountain town. The owners were very friendly and provided personalized service to each room. I loved being able to have our breakfast in our room on our own private balcony. Amazing stay; would recommend to everyone.
- Tom (10/5): Quiet, peaceful, beautiful with wonderful people - Quaint and peaceful. What small towns are supposed to be. The proprietors were wonderful. Breakfast was the best. Recommend highly.
- Emily (10/5): Room-Service-Style Breakfast - Nicole, co-owner with her husband, was very friendly & brought breakfast right up to the room. We got to chose our breakfast delivery time, which was a major perk. The room was very clean, and Huntsville is beautiful! We spent the afternoon after check-out at Cemetery Point Beach which is about a 3 minute drive away.
- Stephen Yee (10/5): Enjoyable stay @ a Rustic & Comfortable B&B House - We had a very enjoyable stay at the Valley Inn. The Inn is located in a very quiet and nice small town, Huntsville which is only about 15 minutes drive from Ogden, UT. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. The room we stay, the Nelson room has a very comfortable queen size bed with a very sizeable bath room, even equipped with a jacuzzi which we did not have time to try it. Our home-cooked breakfast was simple and yet delicious. It was brought to our room which has a small table and two bar chairs. We took a walk around the house after breakfast and enjoyed the quiet and serene atmosphere of a small town. We think we'll come back for a second stay some time in the near future.
- Sandy (10/5): - We stayed at the Valley House Inn on our way Boise. It's an older home but has a lot of character! The new young owners are very nice, friendly and knowledgeable about the house and town. The room and bed were very comfortable! We enjoyed the short time we spent there
- James (10/5): Great stay in the clean air - Great place, with a great couple managing it. Huntsville is quiet village, 20 minutes from the chair at Snowbasin. No need to join the rush of folks driving up to the mountain from Ogden.
Rooms were comfortable and spacious. great views, clean air and you can see the ski mountain from the streets.
Breakfast was excellent, kept me going all day on the slopes.
Lovely place to stroll around after skiing. Historic houses and lots of horses.
Nice welcoming local bar across the street.
- Gerald (10/5): - Friendly proprietors. Room nice and comfortable with breakfast nook. Plan on returning for another couple's getaway.
- aaron (10/5): Charming and Cozy - This little place is charming. Britain and his lovely wife provide a very "homey" feel. Nice touches included TWO very warm space heaters for the room and an electric blanket...turning a very cold night into a fun cozy experience. WIFI is great--no hiccups as I got some business done. Breakfast (a unique egg muffin) was tasty, and the coffee was superior. If you want to settle in, get "cozy" after skiing or with a loved one in the Ogden Valley--this is the place. The Saloon across the strees is perfect for dinner and socializing. Only caution are the steps...its an old house so those with mobility issues might be challenged by narrow steps. Otherwise--come over---you'll enjoy the stay.
- Sana (10/5): A great stay - The young couple are very nice and talkative. We enjoyed a night away from home. It was interesting to learn some about the history of the house too.
- Scot (10/5): Quiet and comfortable in a small town - Visiting the area while I explored a few areas. The young new owners went out of their way to make sure that I was well taken care of. For example, if I was going to leave too early before breakfast, a package of food was waiting for me to go. Facilities are comfortable and clean, and really had a great stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Cute comfy little cottage. - Really needed a fun relaxing stay away! It was just as we wanted! Fun and cozy cottage feel! Loved the fire place in our room! Thanks Ruth for making our night away perfect!
- Verified traveler (2/5): The bed was harder than the floor! - If the the bed would of been even semi soft maybe a memory foam topper our stay would of been perfect but aka bed and breakfast you expect a good bed. The sauna in the room was wonderful though!
- Lisa (6/5): anniversary stay - Nice stay at historical home bed and breakfast. Very quite, quaint and secluded which was perfect for a romantic getaway. Our room was the log room which was rustic and wonderful, filled with beautiful antiques from the time period of this historical home.
