- Stuart (7/5): With a repeat but a few things to watch out for. - Great location for me. Easy to walk to bars restaurants and shops. The beach swimming area a food cart’s isn’t far Overlooking the water from the suite was good Not the properties fault but a detraction is all the rubbish in the water around the pier. Perhaps if I was in a room further along it wouldn’t be so bad. Next time I’ll list my preferences Ground floor east side. Bit of trouble at the restaurant. Ordered 2 dishes. One arrived after a half hour the other still hadn’t arrived after another 15 minutes so I cancelled and paid out only to find 2 extra drinks on the bill. All sorted but I am unlikely to eat there again on any future trips.

- AC (8/5): A super hotel right by the sea with excellent, friendly and helpful staff. - Beautifully situated right on a jetty, almost surrounded by water. A little far from the beach. Hotel cafe was a little overpriced.

Spa tub is way overrated i.e. rusty fixtures and no privacy. Water was turned off for a few hours on the morning of departure. Lobby staff unable to effectively respond to hotel issues.

Room seem old ,shower not really working tv screen is deteriorating ,the smell of pipe go all over the room. the area is crowds with people walking and riding bicycle in the same small walking area. Fishing ,bbq and breakfast you have to pay extra which paying is not a big no staff to explain all thing you have to asked if have questions I might expect too much but if I will get charged all most same price as hotel I rather expect same service too

The property has just opened a cafe in the deep end area, so beware of public people that will walk by your room's glass door all day long during the cafe operation hours (10:00-21:00) so if you need privacy, this property is a bad idea.

- Natalie (3/5): Didn’t delivery for what I paid for. - I did like the external appearance of the property that matched the website. The balcony door doesn’t close properly. The room it needed some touching up.. Walls were dirty, there was a leak from the room above with mould on the ceiling, tiles missing from the balcony, the bed on the balcony the rip was broke and the foam all visable, A long black hair in the fridge We weren’t informed of any information on check in. That breakfast was available, you could take out free bicycles or could rent fishing rods which would have been a really nice thing to do as it’s located in the fishing village. Only seen the rods on leaving and when I asked how much I was told no. So I asked again and was reluctantly told 100baht.

"I don’t like the way they handle wastewater. All the waste is discharged directly into the sea, which is not environmentally friendly and harms nature. Due to this issue, I won’t be staying here again."
- Catherine (10/5): Lovely restful spot - Loved the location of Baan Tah, literally on the sea. A very tranquil and relaxed place . The rooms were simple, stylish and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. A special mention goes out to Carol who was so kind and went out of her way to welcome us and help us in any way she could . We didn't have breakfast at Baan Tah as we preferred the Chilli bar, lovely little cafe 3 mins up the road . Really good coffee and breakfast choices. We enjoyed our stay very much at Ban Tah on sea and would definitely return. Catherine and Anne Nothing

- Peter (8/5): A somewhat different place to stay from usual hotel experience - good value and amazing views - The location in the heart of Bang Saray, on a pier with amazing views out over the fishing quays and back to the town was just what we wanted. Sat for hours looking at the view. The seating area further out along the pier was nice but more could have been made it with some shade and comfortable seating. The breakfast offering was very limited, expensive and not to European tastes - so we ate elsewhere. The lack of a swimming pool could be an issue for many people particularly if they don't want to risk swimming in the sea (see later comment)

Have used booking.com for all our bookings. Sad to say through all the negative feedback from your service centre. You were not able to compensate our horrible experience. Only offering 15% which is extremely disappointing. Not more I can add has been a great experience with booking.com until this incident. We will have to say goodbye to booking.com as they put the hotel before there customers. Very disappointing. Did not like anything please see all correspondence from us to booking.com

Bed is dirty, found a bunch of hair on the bed cover. Bathroom smell horrible when enter to the bathroom u could smell the damp and mouldy. No telephone inside the room, the only way you can contact staff is to go downstair to front desk or chat via fb page. When compare to the price i suggest u run away fast!!!!! The most horrible hotel I've ever encountered!

- namphung (10/5): - Me and my family stayed for 2 nights. We absolutely loved it. The place was peaceful, stuffs were super helpful and friendly. Resort provided free bicycles. We rode bikes to a local market in the morning and got local breakfast. That was the best choice caz we got to eat local food, super cheap, plenty of fruit and fresh. We will definitely go back next year.
