- Marek (9/5): - Pięknie położony pensjonat na farmie. Wielkim atutem jest widok z jadalni na fjord i góry oraz znakomite posiłki (pyszne, elegancko podane śniadanie; kolacje dodatkowo płatne). Okolica jest cicha i spokojna, wyspa Kvaloya to dobre miejsce dla osób, które cenią naturę. Spaliśmy w chatce, w której jest bardzo mało przestrzeni, a łóżka są wysokie i trudno na nich siadać - jednocześnie jest tylko jeden fotel, więc trudno spędzać tam czas. Ale za to można odpoczywać w głównym budynku, a widok przez duże okna jest niesamowity o każdej porze dnia

- Lone (9/5): Nydelige omgivelser og koselig sted. - Vi var de eneste gjestene der og var der en natt for å slappe av. Maten var helt ypperlig, til middag fikk vi nydelig lam med grønnsaker og kraft, og siden vi var de eneste gjestene hadde de laget frokostfjøl til oss med mye forskjellig, alt fra omelett og oster til vafler og yoghurt. Nydelige omgivelser og koselige rom. Det eneste vi synes manglet var et lite kjøleskap for å kunne ha kald drikke og snacks. Burde vært et lite kjøleskap på rommet.

- Renata (10/5): - We stayed here last July and had a wonderful experience with the midnight sun and the lush, flowery scenery. We just had to come back during winter to see the landscape covered in snow, and we were not disappointed! The surroundings were magical, and we were welcomed by a spectacular Northern Lights show that lasted for hours; the sky was exploding with green, and it was even visible from our bedroom. A memory for a lifetime! The interiors were super cozy, the restaurant was amazing, and we really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. We stayed for three nights and managed to explore more of Kvaløya island by car. We definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Tromsø and the surroundings at any time of year!

Spectacular views, a nice hike behind the property and attention to detail that makes you feel cozy and at home. Would definitely return :) The relaxing room, gourmet breakfast, and the quaint cafe/restaurant…and the farm animals! Especially the baby goats :)
- Anneloes (6/5): Nice stay, but with an important mismatch between booking and reality - Beautiful location and a very pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. The room did not match our booking. The Standard Suite we booked explicitly included a patio and a sofa, but our room had neither, only two armchairs. This was disappointing, as these features were an important reason for our choice. The hotel explained this as variation within the room category, but we feel this goes beyond normal differences. Dinner was tasty, but quite expensive for what was offered (which may be typical for Norway).

Rather decide and commit once you are there as the owner is not reasonable or understanding a - The breakfast, the sauna by the sea Communication was bad as our transfer there was not confirmed or notified of a time even up until the day of arrival despite booking it weeks in advance. We ended up getting an Uber due to the lack of organisation. The room was very basic and did not have common essentials even like a kettle or cups/glasses in the bathroom. Every little thing had an extra fee, even simply using the yoga room to stretch which seemed a bit ridiculous. We had prepaid for a night time snowshoe hiking trip and they cancelled it due to unsafe conditions and bad weather, but the owner refused to give us a refund and forced us to use the credit on a driving tour. There were also contradictions between what the owner and the staff said, which created mistrust of the owner. Ultimately she was unreasonable and it left a sour taste in our mouths. The owner Maria clearly puts her own needs over the customer, which is not good hospitality.

- Conny (2/5): Sehr schlechter Service, schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - Frühstück klein aber fein. Leider kein Obst zum Frühstück. Abendessen geschmacklich sehr gut, aber teuer. Personal unfreundlich und total überfordert. Unser Zimmer wurde an mehreren Tagen nicht geputzt. Als wir nachfragten, ob unser Zimmer noch geputzt wird, hieß es wir sollen eine Mail an die Besitzerin schreiben. Haben bis heute keine ANtwort erhalten und das Zimmer wurde auch nicht geputzt. Am ersten Tag fanden wir Fingernägel vom Gast zuvor in unserem Bett. Keine Entschuldigung und keine Einsicht. Nach einigem Diskutieren wurde unser Bett dann doch noch frisch bezogen. Alles in allem für den hohen Preis eine Frechheit!

- Carol (10/5): One of the best holiday stays of my life and I’m 59. - We loved everything about the property. Firstly the lovely welcome from the staff. Then our self contained cabin which was set right next to all the farm animals. You were able to pet and feed the animals which were all so happy, gentle and well behaved. You could tell the farm looked after them very well. The restaurant area and the food were a delight. The available excursions were excellent. Every staff member was amazingly friendly and lovely. Nothing.

It was very cosy and comfortable, the breakfast was incredible (really amazing), and our room was lovely. We loved the animals (including the one week old baby goats!) sauna and cold dip were great. Our favourite was the relaxing room upstairs - so quiet, with a beautiful view and plenty of space to cosy up for many an afternoon nap! It did feel like everything was an add on - so paying for use of the sauna, jacuzzi, even snow shoes. I think we would have rather paid a bit more for the room and it all been included, so it didn't feel like we were paying additionally for everything.

Great farm animals. Awesome breakfast/lunch/dinner. Quiet room with large windows viewing down to the sea. Clean simple room - very comfortable. It’s a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the scenery, but it’s about 45-60 minutes drive (more if snowy) from Tromso where it seems most of the excursions and activities are based.

La qualité du couchage. Le personnel agréable. L’absence de cours de yoga. L’impossibilité de profiter du sauna pour une personne seule ou à un prix exorbitant. Environ 70e l’heure. Du jamais vu dans d’autres hébergements du même type. Le petit déjeuner, bien présenté mais bobo. J’ai trouvé que le concept présenté semblait sincère dans la démarche de bien-être et sur place, j’ai trouvé cela surfait.

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass alles (Sauna, Whirlpool - Schön war das Restaurant und der Aufenthaltsraum mit gemütlichen Sofas und einem wunderbaren Blick. Das Service Personal war sehr nett. Nicht gefallen hat uns die Tatsache, dass man alles an Wellness-Angeboten extra zahlen musste. (Wir sind bei dem Namen des Hotels davon ausgegangen, dass Sauna und Whirlpool inklusive sind). Die Preise dafür außerdem sehr viel teurer als die Standardpreise. Auch die Preise des Restaurants sind höher als das, was wir aus ähnlichem regionalen Angebot erlebt haben.

- Lisaaaa (9/5): Très bon séjour dans la nature Norvegienne - havre de paix - Cet hôtel est une maison d'hôtes charmante avec quelques chambres. La vue sur l'océan est magnifique ; nous avions d'ailleurs une chambre offrant un très beau panorama. L'établissement fait également restaurant, et il est nécessaire de commander son repas au moment du petit-déjeuner. Le midi, il est possible de prendre un repas plus léger au restaurant. Nous recommandons vivement de faire le sauna au bord de l'océan, l'expérience est superbe ! Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Nous avons même eu la chance de voir des aurores boréales le premier soir en sortant du restaurant, ce fut incroyable... Nous avons adoré le petit-déjeuner, qui était très beau visuellement et offrait un large choix ! Les chambres sont trop simples... ce n'est pas très beau. On se sent bien dans l'environnement, mais les chambres ne sont pas remarquables. Les repas du soir étaient un peu trop chers pour ce qui nous était servi. Peut-être est-ce parce que nous sommes Français et que nous avons l'habitude d'une cuisine plus sophistiquée. Mais globalement bon, bien que sans fioritures. La soupe de poisson était bonne en revanche ! Nous n'avons pas aimé la distance du personnel; c'est un service minimum, les personnes qui y travaillent ne respirent pas la joie de vivre. Les chambres étaient nettoyées, les serviettes remplacées, mais le lit n'est pas refait. Et la dernière chose serait que le midi, le restaurant est ouvert à une clientèle extérieure, notamment à des groupes de personnes venant d'Asie. Ces grandes tables cassent l'ambiance "retreat/maison d'hôte", ce qui est dommage... Malgré ces petites choses, nous songeons à revenir :)

- Catherine (10/5): This hotel was beautiful - very cozy and romantic. A great value and a memorable trip! - We had a wonderful time here. The breakfast buffet was consistently great - the food was fresh and it was very tasty. We stayed in a room (versus a cabin) and it was clean and had everything we needed. I loved the shoes off policy - the floors were dry and spotless and it felt very homey walking around in my socks. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I loved visiting the farm animals and the hotel has a beautiful view of the water. It was an excellent place to see the Northern Lights on clear nights. Our room was a bit small and the shower was oddly designed (no door - left much of the bathroom floor pretty wet).

The nature around is beautiful and pure joy to explore. We got lucky with the northern lights activity. The dinner is delicious. The yoga rooms is fabulous. Unfortunately the owner mixed up the food order and the jacucuzi order, still not reimbursed the money or responded about that. The rooms and cabins are super tiny, definitely do not correspond to the pictures. The wifi is impossible to get in the cabins.

- Szymon (10/5): Amazing place! - One of the most beautiful stays we have ever had — cozy, modern, and truly homely. The breakfast was amazing, the views were absolutely stunning (we even got to see the northern lights!), and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was beautifully designed and finished to a very high standard. The opportunity to pet the animals and walk among them was simply unforgettable. The facilities throughout the property are maintained at an exceptional level. We would gladly come back to Tromsø just to stay here again. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

It is an incredibly clean, warm, and welcoming place where everything is handled with genuine care. The entire staff was remarkably polite and helpful, making us feel right at home. Everything was perfectly orchestrated, especially the dining experience. As people who truly value good food, we were blown away by the quality and presentation of both breakfast and dinner. To us, when the food is managed with such care, it reflects the high standards of the entire establishment. We even brought non-guest friends for dinner and the hotel was very accommodating, showing great flexibility. A detail we especially appreciated was the music; the playlist and the volume levels were carefully curated to create the perfect atmosphere. Communication was smooth and natural at every level, including the transfer service. The sauna was fantastic and the location is stunning. Everything was simply perfect—absolutely worth a visit!

- Niklas (7/5): Super Unterkunft - empfehlenswert für einen kurzen Aufenthalt! - Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Eine schöne Lage direkt am Wasser mit tollem Ausblick. Es war sehr ruhig. Die Zimmerausstattung könnte besser sein. Bei solchen Reisen wünschen die Besucher sich Komfort, wie ein Wasserkocher und einen kleinen Fernseher. Zudem war die Matratze nicht passend zum Bett, sodass man leicht rausfallen kann.
- Krzysztof (10/5): - truly magnificent place. Cozy atmosphere, fine food both during breakfast and dinner, with stunning view from rec-room, and dinning room. Since place is a bit further from town, it provides great oportunity for star gazing and northern lights observations. There is a lovely sauna by the coast (nothing like jumping into cold sea during sauna seasion), and another one within the farm. Staff is profesional, multilingual,and very pleasant. Special shout out to Ms's Kamila and Magda. We even received help in the middle of the night we were having flight back, when our cars accumulator died, and needed cables to kickstart it back. Realy greatful for that :) There are also some farm animals. Object provides na option to purchase some furs, handcrafted mugs and various consumables. There is also an option to rent snowshoes. Overall our experience was great, we will keep fond memories of it.

- Anna Lucia (10/5): Traumhafter Ort zum Entspannen - Liebevoll eingerichteter Ort in dem man sich absolut entspannen kann. Sehr nettes Personal und liebevoll eingerichtete Hütte. Die Sauna war fantastisch, das Frühstück ebenfalls. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

- Tommaso (9/5): Fijn verblijf op unieke locatie - Erg fijn verblijf, ongeveer 1 uur rijden van Tromsø. De kamer was groot genoeg met alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt, goed verwarmd en de keuken was goed uitgerust. Bonuspunt door de wat afgelegen ligging is dat het noorderlicht erg goed te zien was vanuit het hotel! De wifi was vanuit mijn kamer nauwelijks werkend. Daarnaast moet je goed rekening houden met de reisafstand tot Tromsø als je daar activiteiten plant.
- Juliette (8/5): - Cet hotel est très bien situé, à 45min de Tromso, devant la mer, au milieu des animaux. Le personnel était très gentil et à l'écoute. Les repas sont très bons et fait maison dans leur petite cuisine. Ils proposent de nombreuses activités sur leur site. Je trouve que les prix des plats au restaurant de l'hotel sont très très élevés en comparant aux bons restaurants de Tromso. Nous avons été très déçu par l'activité "hiking to the Northern lights cabin" qui n'a aucune valeur ajoutée par rapport à une hike à faire sans guide, et qui est bien trop cher pour ce que c'est. Le guide (non originaire de la région) ne nous a rien appris sur les aurores ou quoique ce soit d'autre et il était alcoolisé. Dans le prix de cette activité était inclus une boisson et un gouter dans la cabane : il n'y avait pas assez de tasses pour tout le monde, elles étaient sales, le seul "gouter" qu'on nous a servi était des ribs d'agneau (il était 22h, on avait tous déjà diné à l'hotel). Activité très décevante pour un prix si élevé.

- Christoph (6/5): Viel zu teuer. Wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht nochmal buchen. - Die Idee, auf einer Farm ein Yoga Retreat aufzubauen ist super. Auch der Speisesaal und der Aufenthaltsraum sind ganz angenehm und einladend. Die Unterkunft ist völlig überteuert. Ob die Übernachtung oder das Essen. Es ist einfach sehr teuer im Vergleich zu anderen Möglichkeiten im Norden Norwegens. Zudem war unser Zimmer direkt am Stall angebaut und in der Nacht war es dadurch sehr laut von den Tieren, da die Tiere die ganze Nacht wach sind und Lärm machen. Das Essen war lecker aber sehr teuer. Zudem sollten wir für eine Stunde Whirlpool für 4 Personen ca. 1200 NOK bezahlen. Ca. 600 NOK pro Zimmer und nicht für die Whirlpoolnutzung. Dies ist völlig übertrieben.

One of the most charming hotel restaurants I have ever been to, with exceedingly delicious cakes and an exquisite and original breakfast; lunch and dinner are delicious too. Jacuzzi under northern lights is absolutely something. The sauna by the sea has breathtaking views. I would not hesitate coming back! Prices for all experiences - spa or restaurant - are high for non-Scandinavians, but on par with Trømso region and the high quality of the stay. (Do not expect over-pampering). What hurt me a bit was to pay 100 euros each way for a 15-min car ride (to the husky sled facility).

Giusto compromesso con il “caos” della città Il rapporto qualità prezzo è un po’ alto ma penso sia così in tutta la Norvegia Pensavo ci fossero più animali, anche nelle stanze comuni sarebbe stato bello avere un buffet più ricco alla colazione e anche poter usufruire della sauna accanto alla jacuzzi quando si prenota la jacuzzi

Clean and wonderfully designed ❤️ our little cabin was warm, cozy and a quick walk to the main house with the best food on Earth 🤗 We also witnessed our first ever Aurora over the property while walking from dinner 🥰 That we couldn’t stay way longer :)

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt leider nicht und über die Kosten des Essens etc. wird man nur sehr intrandparent informiert. So folgt am Ende die grosse Abrechnung und man weiss nicht, was man zahlen muss. Das könnte man besser lösen.

- Kryštof (7/5): - Cozy atmosphere Staff was kind The hotel is good, don’t get me wrong, but I genuinely don’t understand the hype it gets in the reviews. There were no basic amenities like kettle, fridge. The rooms are tiny and quite impractical (for example a light switch on the other side of the room than front doors). Everything comes at an extra fee which is often ridiculously expensive. For example jacuzzi at night for 1.200 NOK😵💫 Dinner was not bad but definitely didn’t match the price of ~500 NOK per meal. Breakfast was very limited and portions were small. They didn’t refill once something was eaten. (I am sorry to other guests for eating all the waffles :d) The location is remote and there is not much to do. So without a car it would be really inconvenient.
