• Rami (10/5): Comme à la maison ❤️ - Il y’a de simples auberges, mais celle-ci a quelque chose de particulier : on se sent vraiment comme à la maison. La gentillesse du staff, leurs beaux sourire et toujours à l’écoute. Honnêtement j’aurais pu y rester pendant un très long moment ❤️ Pangkor est une petite île de pêcheurs, parfait pour se relaxer et éviter le tourisme de masse. Et pour un séjour encore plus local, ce petit quartier de l’île est sûrement l’un des meilleurs pour s’imprégner de la vie quotidienne de Pangkor. Ne vous fiez pas simplement aux photos, cette auberge vaut carrément le coup car elle possède une belle âme (je parles bien de l’auberge) qui saura vous faire sentir comme si vous étiez chez vous.

• Elinor (8/5): A more local and relaxed accommodation option - Nice relaxed atmosphere, decent communal area and nice to stay in a more local spot and away from other tourists. Need a scooter if you want to explore rest of island as it is not close to much.

• Jacob (9/5): - Atmosfera autentica, spartana ma tranquilla e rilassante. É in un villaggio di pescatori con atmosfera molto local. Le spiagge sono dall' altra parte dell' isola perciò ho preso a noleggio uno scooter direttamente alla Guest house. Staff super gentile, ambiente pulito.

• Anthony (7/5): Hostel rudimentaire mais super agréable - Hostel bien placé, pas dans le centre proche de l’arrivée du ferry mais dans un village de pêcheur à situé à 5 min en voiture qui est vraiment typique et animé la journée. Les chambres sont rudimentaires avec juste l’essentielle mais propres et il y a de l’eau chaude. Le ménage est fait tous les jours dans les parties communes et l’ambiance de l’hostel est calme mais vraiment sympathique et bon enfant, à l’étage la salle commune est super agréable. Le boss des lieux est aux petits soins, plein de bons conseils et de petites attentions. Si vous n’avez pas peur du côté rudimentaire des lieux, on recommande complètement cet hostel ! Chambres et salle commune du Rez de chaussé sombres.

• Marguerite (8/5): Ok pour quelques nuits - Emplacement dans un village de pêcheurs local, avec des restaurants et café à proximité Chambre basique mais propre Espaces communs sympathiques Location de scooters à l'auberge, scooters en bon état, et le gérant a permis de rentrer au port avec et de le laisser devant un magasin, c'était sympathique de sa part Chambre qui nécessite des réparations : le robinet fuit, le distributeur de gel douche coule par terre, la peinture est abîmée, il y a une brique dans la salle de bain Beaucoup de fourmis dans la chambre La couverture était râpée et ne semblait pas très propre

• Eva (10/5): Relaxed atmosphere - Almost a rarity: a real manager and his colleague on site! Both very helpful and friendly! They organized the scooter, gave me tips for my stay, and even took me to the ferry at 6 a.m. because I had to catch it. The room was cozy and very comfortable with the air conditioning. Relaxed atmosphere and nice other guests. I ended up staying longer than planned…

• Diane (8/5): - The location in an unspoilt fishing village is wonderful, the best place on the island for an authentic stay. The guesthouse is a beautiful traditional wooden house, the staff were friendly and welcoming. I booked a room last minute, it was small and basic, but clean. I would have preferred a different room for more light, but I would definitely stay in the same guest house again.

• Kim (8/5): Location is everything - The location was great. Smack bang in the middle of a nice fishing community. MR Low was really nice and informative. Such an atmospheric scenery. Just half an hour walk from the jetty, and plenty of taxis available. The bathroom had a very strong smell
• Emilie (10/5): Séjour parfait et gentillesse du personnel! - Séjour parfait! J'ai beaucoup aimé l’ambiance très locale et la gentillesse du personnel. L’hôtel a tout ce qu'il faut et il est bien placé. Partant en fin de journée, j’ai pu laisser mon sac tout le jour et revenir prendre une douche, merci! Il y a une mosquée à côté mais ça ne m’a pas dérangée, on se rendort :)

• Sebastian (9/5): Der Preis macht die Musik - Sehr entspanntes Guesthouse mit gemütlichem Aufenthaltsbereich. Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Für den Preis bekommt man nichts besseres auf der Insel! Das chinesische Fischerdorf ist auch sehr schnuckelig. Ich kann Restoran Pangkor Fook Kee und Yi Ke Zhan empfehlen. Sehr lecker! Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Hier und da bisschen schmuddelig aber für Leute die normalerweise in Hostels unterkommen voll in Ordnung! Lage ist auch nicht hervorragend aber gut. Wenn man einen Roller hat geht es voll klar.
• Harry (9/5): Fantastic! - The manager was very welcoming and helped us with hiring a moped to get around the island. The location in the fishing village is very peaceful and relaxing with many places to eat. Only a couple minutes from the port to catch the ferry to and from the mainland. The only issue we had was the WiFi was very slow in the room but worked fine in the common area.

Low es muy buena onda y no se cómo pero me recogió a medio camino del ferry a la casa. Te alquilan moto y al irte se la puedes dejar aparcada al lado del ferry y te ahorras ese trayecto.

• Miriam (10/5): Todo perfecto - It's a unique place. Very well maintained and with simple details that you don't find in other budget accommodations. Special mention goes to Lou, the staff, from the first minute to the last. Impeccable and helpful service. Lou makes this guesthouse more human.

À plusieurs reprises ils m'ont emmenée/déposée où je souhaitais aller, il propose la location de scooter à un meilleur prix qu'au port, prête le casque, et est disponible si on a la moindre demande. On se sent extrêmement bien dans ce lieu, les lieux communs sont très agréables. Rien du tout !
• elisa (10/5): - Le logement était parfait, et je tiens à remercier Low, qui a été exceptionnellement gentil et serviable. L’île est paisible et très nature, quasiment sans touristes contrairement à Penang ou Langkawi, ce qui en fait mon endroit préféré en Malaisie.

• Teena (10/5): Wonderful owner, clean economical budget accomodation - The owner was so quick/ good at responding to messages and providing advice and support. The room was comfortable, quiet and dark for sleeping. The air con worked well and the shower was hot. I enjoyed being in the local part of the island. The location was less convenient for getting to the beach.

Upon our arrival, the host sent someone to pick us up and caught us midway, walking, so that was great. The place is nice and has lots of restaurants and some little convenience stores nearby. A little something to pit our things would've been nice. There were some hangers but no tables, chairs or anything where we could place out stuff. Not that it's something that ruins the stay, of course

Nice common seating areas and we appreciated the microwave, drinks fridge and hot water. The room itself was clean, but very small with super old towels and sheets which could be updated. Otherwise great.

• harshit (9/5): - Location is 2km from jetty. You can rent a bike from jetty station. Room was pretty clean. Owner is friendly and helps you for whatever you need.
• Celina S. (7/5): Great for backpackers on a budget! - + STAFF: The staff was super friendly. They picked me up from Jeti Pangkor, showed me around and even dragged my suitcase upstairs. Extremely nice! Even the next morning I had a good conversation with the manager and he arranged a taxi for me. + CLEAN: Everything was very clean and well kept. + VALUE: You definitely get value for money here. It's a small place, but caters to all basic needs and is great on a budget. + LOCATION: Only a 5 min. drive from the ferry, and around a lot of very good places to eat. - LOCKERS: The lockers were not sturdy and placed outside of the rooms. I didn't like having my expensive stuff (laptop, camera etc.) away from me. The lockers were next to an open alley where people walk at night. But there was no other place to store stuff. - PRIVACY: In a mixed dorm privacy needs to be kept up better: make sure there are proper dividers between the beds. Not just some thin curtains, that barely leave room to get dressed. As a foreign female it made me very uncomfortable. Especially since there were only local men in my dorm. - MOSQUE: It's right next to the mosque, so be prepared to wake up early in the morning from extremely loud singing via a speakerphone.

• Sophie (8/5): Absolut solide für den günstigsten Preis auf Pangkor - Es ist eine sehr einfache Unterkunft mit dem besten Preis den wir auf Pangkor gefunden hatten. Alles etwas alt aber insgesamt sauber. Wasserspender verfügbar und mal kann Instant-Kaffee und andere Getränke etc. sehr günstig kaufen. Es gibt ein paar Restaurants im Dorf. Man sollte sich definitiv einen Roller mieten um die Insel zu erkunden. Scooter konnten wir günstig direkt über die Unterkunft mieten. Heißwasser vorhanden. Der Aufenthaltsraum ist etwas heruntergekommen. Könnte etwas aufgewertet werden. Sonst insgesamt sehr solide.

• Ferdous (7/5): MY COZY Two nights stay in pangkor Guesthouse SPK - It was a lovely hostel! Wooden house, clean, comfy bed. I didn't like the toilet. Should be upgrade! Flash tank doesn't work.

A motor bike was also instantly arranged for hire. Best service I have experienced in Malaysia! Very comfy bed and good pressure in shower. Small quiet village that is a quick taxi ride away from the ferry in Pangkor Town (the ferry does not stop at the nearby jetty)

• Fabian (10/5): - Bester Service. Hätten 15 RM für ein Taxi bezahlen sollen was uns aber für die 30 min Fußweg zu teuer war. Plötzlich ruft jemand auf einem Roller meinen Namen und meine Freundin und ich werden einfach von den Gastgebern unangekündigt von der Fähre abgeholt. War glaube ich der beste Service auf unserer 5 monatigen Reise. Unterkunft wie beschrieben. Die schönen Strände sind auf der anderen Seite aber man kann günstig Roller mieten. Nichts.

• Fynn (10/5): Great value for money - recommend - Friendly and helpful staff - drive me to the ferry port when I left and gave a lift to somewhere else during stay. Helped with scooter rental, taxi etc. Dorm rooms are not bunk beds which is nice. Far from beaches - although as not a big tourist area the local restaurants are much cheaper.
