• Christina (10/5): - I stayed at Villa Venice Movie for two nights after two full weeks of travel throughout Italy as a solo female traveler from the United States. I felt so comfortable, my stay was a perfect location to decompress after long travels and the room had an additional soft throw blanket which was a nice touch to relax before my flight back home.

• Bruce (10/5): - Trendy little hotel on a scenic canal in a quiet neighborhood. Stayed 8 nights. Comfortable bed and fabulous shower. Commuted to the Venice Biennale on the water bus. Very convenient frequent service with the dock a 15 minute stroll from the hotel. Lots of good restaurants and bars near the station.

• Emelie (10/5): - Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und man hat hier das Gefühl, weniger im Massentourismus angekommen zu sein. Die Insel Lido ist ein toller Ausgleich zum vollen Venedig mit netten Restaurant und einem Sandstrand. Das einzige was einen stören könnte ist die Distanz zum Bahnhof (ca. 1 Stunde). Wenn man allerdings nach Venedig möchte ist der weg nicht mehr ganz so lang (ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß und mit dem Vaporetto). Insgesamt kann ich dieses Hotel nur empfehlen.

• Colm (6/5): - Apart from an unflushed toilet found on arrival, the apartment cleanliness was very good. It was very very basic, falling well short of current standard expectations. The location was on an island, in a quiet and safe residential suburb, a 15 minute walk from the boat dock. It was a half hour boat ride to Venice.
• MARIANO (10/5): - La experiencia fue muy buena, aun cuando llegamos tarde, fuimos recibidos con cordialidad y paciencia. El lugar excelente, aunque un poco alejado, vale la pena estar aquí.
• Helga (4/5): Not worth the price - The Villa is overprized. There was mold in the shower (see attached picture), we got terrible respiratory reactions (confirmed by a local doctor) and when we complained, the owner shouted at us. We ended up getting a (part) refund.
• Annette (8/5): Nice small hotel close to the beach - I stayed with my friend at Villa Venice Movie for 2 nights and had a really nice stay. The hotel is in a quiet area very close to the beach and also within 10-15 minutes walk of the water shuttle and main street with all the shops and restaurant. The check in went smooth and the owner gave us some good recommendations for restaurants. Only a few things that could be improved: 1) we asked for Twin beds but were given a double bed - which was OK as it was quite big - but it would have been nice to at least have separate cover sheets. 2) The WIFI in the room was very unreliable - so was a real hit and miss if you could use it or not. 3) The toiletries didn't get filled up when the room was cleaned - so 2 small shampoos (which were also the body wash) are not a lot for 2 women with long hair.

• Dean (10/5): Excellent hotel with great location - Hotel is very clean and area is perfect with easy access via water taxi into the centre of Venice. The staff are very helpful and friendly which always makes your stay that little better. Miss the place already and when the time comes to go back to Venice then I will be staying here again.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastisk opphold - Jeg og min kjæreste bodde på denne Bed&breakfast 3 netter i juli. Vi var kjempe fornøyd med oppholdet. Rommet var rent. Vi ble positivt overrasket over badet, da det var finere enn det virket på bildene. Dusjen var god! Alt virket nyoppusset. Vi sendte en melding til stedet to dager før vi skulle dit, for å avtale innsjekk, men vi fikk ikke noe svar. Vi sendte deretter en kortere melding kvelden før vi skulle dit. Denne ble besvart, og vi fikk beskjed om at innsjekk var kl. 15.30, men at vi kunne levere baggasjen hvis vi kom før. Da vi kom dit kl.14.00 var rommet klart for innsjekk. Vi kjøpte et 4-dagers kort med bussbåten og vi tok bussbåten til og fra Venezia hver dag. Denne turen tok ca 15 minutter, og det var en fin tur. Videre tok det ca 10-15 minutter for oss å gå til båtstasjonen. Området i Lido var veldig fint og hyggelig. Det er enkelte spisesteder i nærheten av båtstasjonen. Frokosten stod klar hver morgen i en hyggelig frokostsal. På hvert bort stod det en liten kurv med en baguette og to crossanter. Pålegg, youghurt og drikke kunne vi hente fra et bord. Dette stedet anbefales!

• parisa (10/5): Heerlijk luxe verblijf - We zijn inmiddels terug maar missen nog steeds dat heerlijk wakker worden op ons prachtig kamertje in de B&B. We genoten elke dag van een geweldig uitzicht vanuit ons balkonnetje, gingen daarna voor een heerlijk ontbijt en liepen naar het station om de water taxi te pakken. Geweldig personeel, heerlijk rustig (verblijf op Lido ipv Venetie is echt een aanrader) lekker ontbijtje, top service, super schoon, luxe kamer en geweldig uitzicht.
• olivier (10/5): Nice guest house steps from the palazzo del cinema - Perfect. Even though staff is not always present so the feel is more like a guest house they provide access and everything. Infrastructure excellent from shower to bedding. Very quiet. Beautiful neighborhood along a small canal. I had to leave at 3:30 in the morning and the owner left a coffee thermos juices milk and biscuits for me. Loved this place much more than msny old good-looking but decrepit hotels on the Lido.
• Sabine (8/5): Nettes, kleines Hotel in der Nähe eines Strandes - Der Check-in verlief recht schnell und freundlich und uns wurde alles kurz gezeigt und erklärt. Wir haben außerdem eine ausgedruckte Karte von der Insel erhalten, auf der der Laufweg von der Wasserbus-Haltestelle (Lido, Santa Maria Elisabetta) zum Hotel eingezeichnet wurde. Diese war auch für eine Erkundungstour sehr praktisch! Von genannter Haltestelle kommt man direkt zur Hauptinsel. Nur ein paar Laufminuten vom Hotel entfernt befindet sich auch schon der lange und schöne Strand von Lido. Das Personal des Hotels war sehr nett und stets drum bemüht, unsere Fragen zu beantworten, meistens auf englisch. :-) WLAN funktionierte problemlos, eine Klimaanlage war auch vorhanden. Das einzige, was uns störte, waren die anscheinend teilweise (!) sehr hellhörigen Wände (in Bezug auf das Badezimmer und den Hotelflur). Geräusche aus anderen Hotelzimmern haben wir wiederum nicht gehört.

El dueño me explicó cómo llegar, y nuestro vuelo se adelantó y nos dejaron entrar antes de la hora. Bárbara la encargada es un encanto de mujer, muy dispuesta a ofrecerte información y asesoramiento. El Lido es un lugar precioso y tranquilo a nosotros nos ha encantado y tanto el hotel como la isla lo recomendamos al 100/100

• Maya (8/5): Schönes Hotel für einen Strand- oder StädteTrip - Hübsches kleines, liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel, sehr schön gelegen, 10 min zu Fuss von der Fähre Station Lido entfernt (mit dem Rad noch nicht einmal 5 min) und zum Strand max 5 min. Zimmer klein, aber sauber und ausreichend. Frühstück inklusive, allerdings für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt etwas zu wenig Auswahl (Baguette, Croissants, Zwieback, Joghurt, Marmelade, Nutella, Saft und Cornflakes mit Milch)

• Becky (8/5): Easy walk from water bus stops - Clean, friendly B&B in a tranquil area. Ten minute walk from the water bus stop. Easy to get across to Venice and surrounding Islands. We didn't have enough time on our weekend break but feel that the Lido was definitely worth a day's exploring.

• wendy (10/5): unique - Lovely little villa, close to beach with free bikes to use, nice location and lovely gentleman who ran it. Lido of Venice is lovely and the beach was gorgous. Lots of restaurant and many places to get your Italian ice-cream.Lovely little supermarket was handy,and they sold some lovely clothes.Warning though take mosquito cream with you, they are everywhere!lol
• Elisa (8/5): Hôtel tout près de la plage du Lido! - Hôtel situé pas trop loin (10 -15 minutes à pieds) de l'arrêt de vaporetto SME. Nous avons emprunté les bicyclettes fournies gratuitement par l'hôtel pour se rendre à la plage publique (plus éloignée et bcp moins achalandée) qui est environ à une 30aine de minutes de l'hôtel en vélo. Ça vous fait une belle balade! Sinon il y en a une à 5 min à pieds! Bel endroit très tranquille! Nous avons aimé nous y reposer après une journée passée à Venise. Le déjeuner était bien, mais pourrait faire l'ajout de fruits frais. Bel accueil du propriétaire qui m'a aidé à gonfler mes pneus de vélo! ;-) Notre chambre était très propre et il y avait un petit frigo bien utile!
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Sehr gut geeignet für einen Besuch von Venedig, wenn man gleichzeitig Ruhe möchte. Morgens wird man von Vogelgezwitscher geweckt, keinen Verkehrslärm. Der Strand des Lidos ist fußläufig erreichbar. Fahrräder können kostenlos ausgeliehen werden.
• Christelle (8/5): Hotel accueillant et au calme - Sur l'ile du Lido, au calme, à l'abri du tumulte de Venise. Idéal pour un repos bien mérité après une journée de balade et de visites. Ile charmante avec des restos à proximité, de bon rapport qualité/prix. Hôtel de seulement 6 chambres, accueil charmant par le propriétaire, qui parle Français et est de très bons conseils. Le prêt de vélos nous a permis de faire le tour de l'ile et de découvrir une autre facette de Venise.

• Chris (10/5): Entspannt am Lido - Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und wirklich überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln. Von der Sauberkeit des Zimmers über das Personal bis hin zum Frühstück war wirklich alles perfekt. Auch wenn man nicht direkt im Stadtzentrum ist kommt man doch sehr gut vom Lido überall hin. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen.
