The staff was very nice upon check-in. The bartender Jenniffer was phenomenal and got us set up to take drinks up to our room. The room was pretty clean. I think what we paid for the value of this day is not accurate. When we got up to our room our bathtub would not drain so we all took showers with the bathtub filling up with water from the shower with no way to drain it without turning the water off and when I called the front desk, they just told me that they would send somebody out in the morning and there was no concessions made it check out for the fact that all four of my family members showered in some gross water around their feet that evening prior

We always stay in East Peoria but thought we would try a different area this time, The hotel itself was fine. Everything stated it was nee but the end of the hallway near our room was under construction of some form. We had 2 rooms. 3 people in each and our total was $374 PER room with breakfast the next day. Breakfast was NOT a restaurant breakfast. It was the same as every other hotel premade pancakes and such….they just mask it with a menu and have you order. We paid $ 750 for 2 rooms. We could have stayed at a MUCH nicer hotel for lower cost. I was appalled at the price, the quality and the actual experience. The East Peoria location is much nicer and has a breakfast buffet which is very good, This was an awful,plated option. My eggs weren’t even edible.

The hotel doesn't offer free breakfast because they have a restaurant. Didn't realize HI Expresses didn't all offer this amenity. Not pleased with finding that our. Their in-room wifi is spotty at best. And the IHG app is useless. Can't check in, get a key, etc. Only option available is to check out. Really lacking what other hotels offer.

The staff accidently assigned our room to someone else on our second night and so on our second night some stranger walked into our room without notice (scared us both).
• Thomas (10/5): - The convenience of a bar and restaurant was a good departure from other popular hotels in the area. The staff was very friendly, and the property appeared to be newer than it was. There was a large gathering area just off the lobby where our large group from all over the U.S. attending a family funeral could meet up. All-in-all, this experience prompts me to review my current hotel membership and seriously consider becoming a Holiday Inn member.
• Debra (10/5): Exceptional - The night staff when I called the front desk and told them the remote didn’t work. They said they didn’t have any batteries. BUT the morning staff just reached in the drawer and guess what? They had batteries. I was just a little upset.

• Speedo15 (4/5): Very noisy… don’t stay unless you’re traveling with your kids for a sports event! - I have stayed at this hotel multiple times but no more. You can almost be guaranteed on a Friday or Saturday evening. They are catering to a traveling high school sports team that stay up all night and slam doors and run up and down the halls. I realize there’s a sports menu down the road and that’s probably why all of the traveling middle school team stay at this hotel. Doors are open and slammed all night long multiple times an hour. If you want a good nights sleep, just stay in one of the other hotels in the area. There are many others to choose from. It’s a shame because I love Holiday Inn, but I can’t stay here anymore.
• Kelly (2/5): - The staff was completely useless with controlling the group of girl softball players. My wife attempt to call the front desk to get some help with the children running and screaming up and down the hall, but no one answered the phone. I went down to speak with the desk attendance but she was in the restaurant talk to her friend, when I tried to explain what was going on the desk attendant who was working the afternoon shift stated “she did not like my attitude”.

• Daniel (8/5): Hotel is Nice and across from Slugger Fields - Check In was great; easy and friendly staff. Lobby was very inviting and had hot coffee available for free. Room was clean. Another guest was quite noisy letting doors slam shut against the flip latching lock. Asked him several times to stop slamming the door and he had 0 respect and did this until 9pm and finally put ear plugs in and went to sleep.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Lackluster - I have stayed at this hotel a few times since they opened 6 years ago. The service is not as good as it once was and I am one of ther rewards members. My last 2 stays I had issues. The front desk is not as welcoming as they once were. They used to ask you the reason for your stay, ask you if you stayed at the hotel before, and let you know about the different amenities of the hotel. This did not happen during my last 2 stays, and even when I will contact the front desk for certain reasons they were not as friendly and sometimes have attitudes. During my last day the telephone in the room did not work and would not even make local calls and they told me there was nothing they could do about it because it was the weekend. I had lost my cell phone during my visit so this was really an inconvenience for me. The front desk had also initially charged my credit card and when I contact them about it they told me that my prepaid room was not showing as prepaid and told me to contact hotels.com which I did and so the issue was rectified but it was a frustrating experience. During this particular stay and the last day we were placed in rooms on the 4th floor. During this day it was very very noisy two out of the three nights that we stayed there. Young adults were back and forth through the hallways making a lot of noise throughout the night into the morning. Room was not the type that I reserved, shower doors were dirty/rusty at the bottom. Luggage trolleys were unavailable.

It was less than 20 min away which made it nice to - The facility was nice & clean and had a nice restaurant with friendly staff throughout. Crowded, hotel must’ve been booked out. Pool, lobby, and other areas made us want to stay in our room due to over crowded feeling.

• trentond2024 (10/5): Best in Grand Prairie - Excellent service. Clean rooms. Best chicken wings in town. I stay here for work regularly and it’s always the go to for me and the crew, with a complimentary breakfast buffet that is unmatched by other hotel breakfasts. 10/10 would recommend.
