Room was clean and the one bedroom suite was so spacious with all we could have needed. Loved the lockers of things to borrow and the little pantry area with snacks/drinks/etc We had a no smoking room but unfortunately we still had the smell of cigarette smoke coming into the bedroom since we were above the outdoor patio. We also had issues with the room keys, each day 2 or 3 of the 4 we had ,stopped working and we had to go down to pair them back to the room

• WorldWideTravel88 (10/5): - I had not stayed at this hotel brand (Candlewood) for a very long time - this particular hotel in Grove City turned out to be fine. As IHG Diamond I was proactively upgraded from a studio to a suite; the room was decent and interestingly had some kind of lazy-boy in the living room which is rarely found in hotels. There was a fully equipped kitchen useful for longer stays. Perhaps one potential criticism of this hotel is that they do not have a restaurant and therefore no breakfast so it's a bit barebones in that regard, unlike most hotels which are part of a big international chain like Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, etc. However this hotel is simply following the brand standard for Candlewood so it would be unfair to blame them for not having a restaurant. Guests who highly value breakfast should simply not book at any Candlewood but I found this hotel to be quite good for what's it's intended to be hence my rating.

He seemed really annoyed that I had asked. At first, he told me the same room type was not available, and when I asked about other room types, he then said there were no rooms available. I could have booked online, but his attitude had me booking at the hotel next door.

I gave the person on the phone his name and our conversation was very pleasant and efficient. When my husband arrived, Annie insisted the room had not been paid for, and was rude to my husband when he told her it was. We will think twice before staying at this hotel again.

My room was very clean and beds/pillows were exceptionally comfy. Bathroom was slightly dingy and around the toilet wasn't cleaned well as we found some hair around the toilet and in the bathtub.
