- Malissa A (6/5): - This property was way overpriced for what it was worth. It was an absolute rip off for what I had to pay but it was either sleep on the streets or sleeping in bed. The property was clean and room was clean and I had no complaints except for the pillows were god-awful and I had to see my chiropractor once I got back in town it was like sleeping on a hard brick I think prison inmates get better pillows in this. Looking through some other comments it looks like I'm not the only one either I was in so much pain the next day with my neck it was awful.

- Jane (10/5): - Nice hotel in a nice area of Evanston close to shops and restaurants. Parking easy in back for a fee. Our daughter is at Loyola U about 3 miles down the road so was p pretty convenient location to go back and forth.

- Jaeho (10/5): - Title: Perfect stay for our big family! We have four kids and stayed in a suite, which was spacious enough for our entire family. We stayed for 8 nights and were very happy with how clean and well-maintained the hotel was. The location is excellent—very close to the lake, and both Target and Trader Joe’s are within walking distance. Breakfast had a great variety, and we especially appreciated being able to order fresh omelets. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside was the parking fee, which was $25 per night. Other than that, everything was perfect. We’d love to come back again in the future!

- Jennae (8/5): Good Stay - The front desk staff was ok, not great but not awful. The hotel had a smell due to food being brought in, not sure if it was the hotel food or someone bringing it to the hotel. The hotel was in a great location. It is expensive to park the car, on our own.

- Deborah (8/5): Good but starting to show wear and tear. - I was unaware that they got rid of the valet services. The rooms have been minimally changed (one less chair at the counter, wheels removed on the third one), which we miss. Glasses in the kitchenette were a little dirty. The sliding door on the bathroom looked like it had been fixd but not very well. Deep nail holes on the exterior trim were just gaping and left open. Didnt even try to patch them over. Bedding seemed a bit lacking. We stay a minimum of once a year and have always had the same type of room so these things were noticeable.

The location is close to Northwestern University. We also were able to walk for dinner. We also were able to walk to the beach. We will definitely be staying here again soon.

- Yan (10/5): - I stayed here when I went to visit my son at Northwestern University. The room is big with a kitchenette and a sitting area. The bed is new and comfortable. The hotel is located in the downtown area of Evanston with many dining options and one Whole Foods store. Only ten minutes walk from the south end of the NU campus. The very reasonable off-season rate includes continental breakfast. The usual stuff plus kefir. Good quality food and adequate quantities. The staff was very friendly.

- Melissa (10/5): Perfect Stay - The staff was incredibly friendly, location was great, and rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in walking distance of Northwestern, as well as wonderful restaurants.
- Jan (8/5): Good stay but freezing cold lobby - The on-site manager was very accommodating and helpful, however, the downstairs lobby was all but uninhabitable because it was so cold. This made relaxing at the bar like sitting outside.

- Ellen (8/5): - This was one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. The staff (including the valet parkers) were polite, professional, courteous and more than helpful. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was really a full service breakfast. The downside, which to me could be a deal breaker, was the bathroom was in the bedroom. We had a beautiful suite, but having the bathroom was the most inconvenient bathroom I have experienced in a hotel. Whether one of us wanted to get up early and shower and get ready, or stay up later than the other, we felt we couldn't. Also if we had to get up in the middle of the night, was a problem!

- Hil (8/5): Great location - Location is great. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Gym was open 24 hours which is convenient. Negatives- gym not maintained as wipes ran out, water cups ran out and no towels available. Room though clean, needed upkeep as light was falling from ceiling, bathroom fan did not appear to work and shower faucet handle felt like it was going to fall off. There was a lack of communication about how much valet parking would be and how often the room would be cleaned. Overall we enjoyed the hotel and would stay again.
- Bruce (10/5): - Disappointed when it came to eating at your restaurant. I was concerned when the person managing the front desk was the person preparing our meal. I forgot to mention when we checked out that the drain in the shower of #412 needs to be cleaned. After your shower you're standing in an inch of water because the drain isn't working well.
