Guest Reviews
- Andrew (5/5): 💁♂️ - It was eas easy to get in and out of the place which was cool. Most of the stuff didn't work where it was broken lights TV
The air was broken other than that.It was alright, shower was not hot.
- Stacey (2/5): - Floor level rooms Rooms were filthy. Bedding appeared clean but the walls were disgusting, furnishings are old as dirt a coat of paint, elbow grease and a few good housekeepers, things would be way better. The rates are high for a filthy dirty room. Didn't even shower there because it looked dirty
- james (1/5): -
- Lisa (1/5): We couldn’t stay in the room it was very cold even with the bad heating they had - This property is very bad the room was very nasty. The ceiling paint was falling down the heat did not work properly the bedding has stains all over it. The bathroom tube was very very dirty The door to the room had a huge gap in it you could see outside e through the huge gaps in the door and the cold wind was blowing right through the door. Me and my dad had to check out. This property is very should not be on any hotel apps. I would warn anyone that is thinking about booking please don’t. I wish i would have taken pictures. We had to check out and find another place. Nothing
- Dave (6/5): Old run down motel - Run down old motel. One of the lights didn't work. Cigarette holes in bedding. One towel, one wash cloth
No telephone, clock or coffee maker in room.
- Collier (5/5): -
- Leroy (1/5): -
- Woodard (1/5): aweful - nothing it was nasty it has bed bugs and it was discussing
- Daniel (2/5): The place was a dump, sorry. - The place was a dump. The room lock was broken, the floor was dirty all around the edges and in the bathroom, the bed spread had cigarette holes, the bathroom door did not shut, the shower head was falling out of the wall, everything was just dirty and needed upkeep. I have slept in a number of bad hotels - sometimes that is just what you have to do - but I thought the price was high for a hotel this bad.
- Ashley (2/5): Never again - Holes in the walls, everything in the room was rusted or broken/chipped, there was hair in the shower, the first room they put me in had a door that wouldn't even latch so they moved me to another room and when my key quit working, the guy at the desk just hit my door until it opened which means the door could have been opened by anyone at any time. The sheets and towels were all stained. There was a massive gap under the door, the pillows were lumpy and wore out. I walked around for a good hour or so before I realized my feet were getting filthy, the floor was NASTY.
- robert (2/5): - Sheets were stained and dirty, room was dirty. If I wasn't so tired, I would have turned around and left
- Alexander (8/5): - 👍
- Kandy (4/5): - Dirty. Ice machine broken.
- Chris (1/5): A disgusting place, run by people who just want your money. - Nothing The room I was assigned had white spackle all over the place - on every wall, in the bathroom even. The only piece of furniture, a small dresser, was missing the front panel of the middle drawer. Even the door didn't work right - I had to shoulder it in after unlocking it. It wasn't habitable. When I complained, they said, and I quote, "what do you expect for the cheapest room in town?", and then refused to refund my money because I had booked it thru booking.com. (Booking.com had them refund me so I am made whole)
- Jeremy (5/5): Passable - A/c was cold and the wifi was accessible. The bathroom was comparable to that of a linen closet.
- Alfredo (10/5): - Helpful app
- Christy (2/5): - I was coming through the area on a long trip and needed to rest so I pull in, pay, get my key card. I pull around to my room hoping to shower and sleep for a few hours, I only had about 12 hours before check out anyways. I grab my bags & am greeted by a man next door who was definitely under the influence of drugs. I proceed in and before I’m inside, there is a prostitute approaching me, I just go on in the room. Once I get in, I realize it is the most disgusting, horribly dirty, with holes in the walls, and the sheets were dirty, the pillowcases were brown with dog prints. I put my bags back in my car, drive back around to the office, the unfriendly gentleman was standing outside, I hand him back the key and tell him I can’t stay in something like that. He says to me as he takes the key, well you rented the cheapest room what do you expect. So I paid $80 for nothing.
- Cabell (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (2/5): - Missing paint in room, clean enough but overall poor condition, hot water in sink did not work and problematic on shower
- Maudie (10/5): - Staff is very friendly
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not worth the money - The shower had mold in it, the comforter was damaged, the room that I requested a non-smoking room wreaked of stale cigarette smoke, the carpet was dirty, the bed sheets had ink or some kind of stain on them, the air conditioning unit had remnants of old bugs in it, the door had no security lock on it, oh and in the bathroom there were exposed wires from a switch.
- Myshabian (1/5): The room was terrible. Blood stains, dirty furniture, walls nasty. Will never go back - Nothing Everything
- Galym (1/5): Very dirty place - Nothing Everything
- Sherri (1/5): Bad - NOTHING. THE STAFF HAD COVID AND WAS WORKING. Everything
- Ashley (10/5): - It was great
- Michael (8/5): - For the price it was worth it and the bed was really comfortable. You can't ask for a 5 star treatment on a 2 Star budget.
- King (10/5): Exceptional -
- Crystal (1/5): Absolutely horrible - I had to swat bust my way into the room, there was burn holes in EVERYTHING. There was at least 2 dozen holes in the room. The bathroom was missing the door handle. The check in staff tried to charge me almost DOUBLE and was dismissive when I showed him my reservation. I was then told to go back to my vehicle and wait... they have a waiting room. Pictures versus what you get are NOT the same. EVERYTHING
- Minardi (10/5): Exceptional - The convience The people outside at 3am
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Daniel (2/5): Dump - Horrible
- andre (10/5): - It was easy to get to other areas.
- William (7/5): Good -
- Minardi (10/5): Good clean and charming - That they never bothered us. How the neighbors fouggt
- Dixon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (2/5): - I don't even know how they run my card for a room someone got into my account because I was at home at 9:33 last night when my card was ran 3 times think God I didn't have enough money in my account so if you think you can buy my 9$ back in my account for using your app that I didn't not use....
- Verified traveler (2/5): Eh - Not well maintained. The room we were first placed in honestly felt like we were in the ghetto. We asked to be moved and they were nice enough to help us with that. Doors had holes in them. Water damage and paint peeling. The beds are beyond uncomfortable with very small pillows. I won't be staying there ever again.
- THERESA and DUSTY (10/5): - Close 2 stores and dining. Friendly staff, easy check in. Room was clean
- Kevin (6/5): - Outdated
- Kevin (6/5): - Way outdated
- Kevin (4/5): - Outdated, pushy, unfriendly staff
- Mark (2/5): - This was by far the worst place ive ever had the privilege to stay in. I darn near had to kick the door to open and door was probably kicked in previous because it was flopping around.
There were several holes in the walls. Ac unit was not functional, dresser drawers were broke and missing, bed sheets were not clean and had holes. I do not recommend this place to anyone no matter what stage in life your in.
- Lynn (4/5): It was less than expected. - For the more modern remodeled room that we stayed in it was less than expected. Non- smoking room had cigarette burn holes in the comforters. The Very minimal for a night stay. everything
- Moma (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cabell (5/5): Passable - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The 1st The rooms are very outdated, there was a hole in the wall in the king room and the front door doesn't close properly. For the most part, there needs to be some heavy duty remodel.
- Karen (2/5): Beware Do not stay - The stay was terrible. Asked for a different room and I was told no I couldn't move. The air did not work properly, smelled of smoke and urine, carpet was filthy, bed was worn out, safety lock was broken and gap in door. guy next door was screaming all night (cops came) Couldn't get a refund to go someplace else. holes in wall and ceiling. basically a trap house.
- Norma (8/5): - Convenient to highway, although hotel was dated. Room was clean.
- Paul (6/5): - Place was in bad shape , toilet became clogged was told where the plunger was in housekeeping and to get it to unclog the toilet, one of the door locks was missing on the door, only issued one key for a two person room
- Jessica (7/5): Good - Big rooms. Clean Staff was nice
- P4dy (1/5): Bad - Robed me and had bedbugs came al the way from texas Them kicking me out taking my money
- Carolyn (6/5): - Felt like they were always watching me.Her tumult in my room when I was doing uncomfortable
- Larry (2/5): - Place was dirty unsafe door. Dirty Sheets and bed coverings. And affordability was a problem couldn't afford elsewhere. So it had to be this place
- Tabitha (4/5): - Place is gross people that live there are sketchy everything is broken 😕 not a comfortable stay at all.
- Cameron (10/5): Simple, clean - It's perfect if you need a bed to sleep in but don't want to pay a lot
- Smith (1/5): Bad - It was an accidental booking 100 miles away from where I wanted to be. I never stayed here! but was charged $75 for the reservation I made. The roadway inn in Lexington has been accommodating my needs and is a very friendly place to stay for a night or two ✌ Difficulty with canceling the accidental booking, my bad, I did it at the last minute.
- Christopher (8/5): - The 4 stars is for the functionality of a stop & go place. Besides that, meh...
- Samantha (5/5): I love it - It was very convenient I like everything about at
- Armando (1/5): Bad - Close to highway. Very aged. Bedding had hair and stains. Paint was horrible and chipping. Can tell no real cleaning or upkeep goes on. Room smelt like a nursing home. Even just to try and sleep for a few hours, it was horrible. I should have spent $75 more somewhere else.
- Sunni (1/5): Bad -
- Granny37055 (5/5): Passable - Location Dried poop on the bathroom wall
- Stevenholmes (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet friendly staff and clean
- Scott (1/5): Bad - Honestly didn't like anything Tv didn't work right. Heating n ac no go and if u want a hot shower definitely not the place to go. I've stayed @ this place a many times n for several years n it was good back then then they recently changed name n it goes to ####
- Adam (1/5): It was a real shock when I was hit with electricity - Location was good but nothing else I was shocked while plugging my IPhone pro max 15 into the outlet near the heater It threw sparks knocking the power out to the room. Went to office he had to relocate us to a different room because the breaker would automatically blow each time being turned back on. I have photos of the outlet showing how it was burnt up. My $1400 phone is fried and I am $700 out for medical visit
- Cory (10/5): Nice budget motel - The beds were extremely comfortable
- Kenneth (2/5): - Holes in Walls run down no smoke detector front desk rude and threatening
- Lawrence J. (4/5): - The motel had a number of rooms in the rear for long term customers. Most people staying in the back were fine but some were very questionable. I was in room 136 this room should not be rented out again without repairs being made. I took a number of pictures is you are interesting. Larry
- Daniel (10/5): - what I needed
- Brian (4/5): - I didn't realize that the residents would be primarily homeless persons and that several would be dog owners.
Upon returning from a nearby restaurant, I was startled by a barking dog though it turned out to be harmless. I thought the property was quite shabby and rub-down. I doubt that I will ever again choose Rodeway for lodging while travelling.
- Chasidie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chasidie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marcus (1/5): Bad - Nothing. The room was over priced. Should be $40 a night instead of the $75 Everything. The room was over priced. The room next door to the one I stayed had people coming and going all hrs of the night. Alive and dead bugs in the floor. Sink handle broken. I'll never stay there again and I'd recommend anyone considering staying to move on to the next place. I was extremely unhappy with the place!!!
- Nathan (1/5): Don't stay here - The bed was semi comfortable.. The carpet was nasty and sticky and had mildew on it, I felt sick the next day and couldn't breath because of my sinuses and I am coughing now, the furniture (chairs) should have been thrown away ,they were worn out and had the padding showing.
The comforter had cigarette burn holes all in it , even the curtain had holes in it and looked dry rotted.
- Marie (5/5): It was the least expensive motel in the city I planned to spend the night. - The motel was a little dated but clean. Would be nice to have a hair dryer in the unit. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Did not have a hair dryer
- Erika (4/5): - Kind of a scary place. Run down and everything is very old and worn down.
- Hector (2/5): - Terrible avoid this hotel
- Charles (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything it was nasty the ac didn't work and it was really hot
- James (10/5): - Hard to find because the older hotel sign is up with the Rodeway sign below it. Hardly noticed it. Room was clean. Plenty of restaurants available for dinner or breakfast. Would not recommend the Waffle House. It is the worst one I’ve ever been in and I love Waffle House.
- Hodges (5/5): Passable -
- Heather (1/5): Do not stay here unless you want bit by bed bugs and then they refuse you a refund. - Nothing BED BUGS
- Janet (2/5): - Does not look like photos. Plexiglass windows. Cracked. Bullet holes patched. Torn up carpet. Bugs. Ac has seen way better days. Very scary and gives you the creeps just to set foot in door. Next to a truck stop with the environment of ladies.
Staff helpful and refunded money. Didn’t stay there.
- SARBJIT (2/5): - I did not like anything about this place. The property buildings need to be demolished. They are unsafe and filthy to live in. Room was filthy. Hair all over the counters, on walls, beds. Just nasty. Bathroom stunk. Grungy filth everywhere. Nasty, dirty and smelly carpet. Light fixture in bathroom was full of dead bugs. Not enough towels or toiletry items provided. Uncomfortable beds. Smelly AC. Turned cold water, I got hot water. Turned hot water and I could have burned myself in shower. When I was done with shower, cold water started flowing in. Overcharging of $75/night plus taxes came to $90. This room was not even worth for $25.00/night I will never stay there in the future. It is a dump. Expedia needs to drop it from its list.
- Jean (2/5): - I like that the rooms on either side of my room were vacant. Not a room for a handicap person. Only 10 channels on the TV not good ones.No hairdryer no coffee maker, no iron or ironingboard.
- Wesley (4/5): - This is a very trashy hotel. There are people living in some of the rooms permanently. A ton of noise, motorcycle engines, beer bottles everything sounded like it was right in my room. Barely slept as I did not feel safe at all.
- James (2/5): - They promised to refund my money and then didnt do it
- Verified traveler (2/5): Did not stay. Lost my money! - I the room was supposed to be non- smoking but smelled of smoke. I did not stay in the room. I returned the key for health reasons. So lost the money I paid for the room! I tried to get a different room but the clerk said there was not another room. When I returned the key, she was leasing a room to three other people.
- Katrinia (1/5): Bad -
- James (5/5): just keep your car unlocked so they don’t break the windows. Keep your gun on your nightstand. You will be fine. - cheapest in town, not necessarily the best you get what you pay for. dumpy to be expected
- Tuan (6/5): - ,
- Payne (1/5): Bad - It had bugs and the front desk moved us to another room and said they would rent that one to someone else
- Christina (7/5): Good -
- Carmen (1/5): Bad -
- Terri (2/5): - The room was barely passable for clean. There was no safety chain or lock on the door. There was a hole in the wall by the bed and there was a huge gap under the door.So big that a small critter could get in. We had no hand towel to use after personal hygiene.
- Mackenzie (5/5): it was great until the girl with the pimp woke up my 9 month old 🤷♀️ - I liked how it’s all one level. the rude staff. the blonde girl who checked me in needs to get a different job if that one makes her so angry.
- Juana (1/5): i could not stay. you help me get anothe place. - room was dirty
strong bad odor
changed the name of hotel
hard to find
very low quality
- Ted (2/5): Absolute night mare hotel. Price isnt worth it. - Got their late and was promptly checked in. Drove around to the back side where i saw another guest had parked a truck and trailer across 4 parking spots including mine. Room was filthy with graffiti on the walls. An ash tray leading me to believe it was a smoking room, the bed sheets where stained. The matress protectors were covered in brown and yellow stains. The ac knobs had to labels, tbe door wasnt sealed so light and air were getting in. Other guest were actively going around and knocking on doors yelling looking for someone one.
- Jarryd (2/5): - This hotel hasn’t been updated since 1972, including the mattresses!
- Luis (6/5): not planning to go back - availability got some problems with the toilet
- JAMES (10/5): - This is an older motel and definitely dated. However, the property is in overall good condition and it is clean and quiet. For the price this place can’t be beat. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend this plane If you’re looking for a clean, quiet place to spend rhe night.
- Ashley (4/5): Disappointing - The price wasn't bad The room was not very clean, it smelled like mildew,
- Draven (1/5): Nasty room - It was cheap The room was nasty and dusty had hand prints all over the walls and the shower was ice cold I let for 10 minutes and temp's didn't change
