Guest Reviews
- AlisonD1969 (8/5): Great value - Now this place doesn't look much, and you have to travel in a taxi.... but the food is great value for money and the portion sizes are large. Its full of locals and i'm sure they dont see alot of holidaymakers. But it's worth a visit, the staff are friendly. Don't be put off trying. Thank you for making us so welcome.
- Marry (10/5): - Clean room, staff, bar& restaurant and laundry.
We always come back to the Longhorn đ
- Freddie (8/5): - Okay stay
- Juliana (10/5): - Great
- Paulina (2/5): - It was ok it just the smell of the smoke it was really bad
- Grant (6/5): - This is an older property, it's like an old dorm building that's been there forever. The carpet in the hallway is pretty worn, but has been updated at some point in the room I was in. There is a bus stop at the front of the hotel, so people are always coming and going. The room itself was okay, but AC unit was old and weak. The shower pressure was pretty weak, also. It wasn't a bad stay, just rough around the edges. The casino is small with a little bar inside. They only have slot machines and video poker, no table games.
- Hong (10/5): - Friendly staff, good food. Clean and big room.
- jose (2/5): - No horrible
- Patricio (10/5): - The entire staff was happy and helpful. Clean and cozy room. Delicious food and healthy portions served 24 hours a day. I highly recommend for two reasons: To not break the bank and to actually enjoy the way Vegas used to be, Fun!!!
- Hieu (6/5): - OK
- Doan (6/5): - Shower is clean and easily to adjusting hot/cold water
I did not like entry door, had a big gap at bottom-
- VegasGar (6/5): Hotel on the East side of Vegas. - I had a couple of nights booked here but I decided to stay longer, so it was 5 days in total. This is an older property on the Boulder highway, a few blocks down from Sam's Town hotel/casino. It only has 4 floors, so getting up and down from your room to the lobby and casino is a breeze. The casino is small with slots only, but they give you some coupons so make sure and use them. The AC was old and kind of week. The hallway carpet is old and dreary. The whole place has an old college dorm feel to it. The shower pressure is pretty week, so a 10 minute shower takes about 20 minutes. The room was old, but okay. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, so there are people coming and going outside. It's on the East side of town, so there are some homeless people around. Also, the walls are thin so you can hear the neighbors when they have the TV volume up loud. The restaurant on the first floor is open 24/7 and pretty good. If you stay here, you really need to have your own vehicle. It was an okay stay, but this place definitely has some character.
- Khin (2/5): - i make mistake choice.
Never go back.
- David (10/5): - Clean room. Great front desk. Good value.
- Sarah (6/5): - Convenient to other casinos off strip but was very disappointed in housekeeping even after we put our sign out for housekkeeping never got beds made or clean towels until we talked to a manager. Then finally got clean towels but never picked up dirty ones
- Kellie (10/5): - Awesome
- Kellie K (10/5): - Wonderful
- Lawrence (8/5): - Itâs age is showing, however it was clean and staff was really friendly.
- Gregory (10/5): - Fun casino. Very nice staff. Large spacious room in good shape with a coffee maker.
- Roberto (10/5): - Itâs our third time staying here and will keep on coming back! Love the atmosphere and all the amenities. Thanks Longhorn Casino!!
- Karmilya (6/5): - I liked the quietness.
- Sahiba (10/5): - Staff is very friendly and good customer service
- John (2/5): - im filing a complaint tomorrow. The head of security called me a bad repugnant word of a mules rear end in front of other customers as i was trying to check out. Filing a complaint against him from the day before. I want my money back.
- Gregory (10/5): - Very nice staff. Very fun casino
- Sophia (10/5): - Given a clean room with two beds and multiple voucher cards. Happy they could accommodate me and my partner really fast with a room!
- Natalie (10/5): - Staff was AMAZING friendly and very helpful
- John (6/5): - Staff was friendly, no problems checking in, room was clean, bed was reasonably comfortable, price was good for the area; budget friendly, seemed safe. But, the electrical outlets in the lamps didn't work, causing us to unplug what I thought was the TV, but turned out to be the fridge and TV. Bathroom fan was reversed, blowing hot air into the bathroom and blowing stinky air from the bathroom into the bedroom, with no way to open the window. Yuk! Then, at checkout, the soda vending machine was broken. Really, most was good, and the things that were wrong could have been solved by slightly better maintenance and repair.
- Lamont (10/5): - great staff. very friendly.
I have stayed here 20 plus times. not fancy but clean great cheap restaurant on premise
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Our stay was very good, everyone was friendly and helpful.
- Deborah (10/5): Great hotel and casino! - The rooms are very clean and nice. They accept dogs which is nice because I travel with my dog all the time. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I love that they have a restaurant and casino so we didn't have to travel to anywhere else to gamble or eat. The food at the restaurant is great and they offer many different foods, all of which is excellent. Will definitely recommend this hotel casino if your looking for a place that has everything you need in one spot. Definitely will book here again when my family comes to visit.
- Michael (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- M8610EDdalec (6/5): Wrong photo. This is NOT the Longhorn on Boulder Hwy Las Vegas - The photo depicted is NOT the Longhorn casino/hotel on Boulder Hwy Las Vegas.
I drive right by this place a few times a week.
Trust me......this photo of a multi story building is WRONG
- Aaron (10/5): First time stay - During my stay I ate two delicious meals, Gambled, and had a very comfortable sleep during the night.
Spent very little money and Iâm walking out with more money than I came in with.
Staff is also very friendly, and accommodating. I would stay here again.
- MeLang (4/5): - I saw a mans car get hit in the parked parking
- Richard (6/5): - Little out dated limited dining cboices
- Scott (10/5): - I had another great stay at the Longhorn Hotel and Casino. The hotel is an incredible value when you factor in all of the fees that you'd have to pay at other properties. The staff at the Longhorn is simply awesome and the onsite security officers do a great job of keeping the hotel and parking lot safe. Five Stars.
- Oscar (10/5): - Great and affordable hotel!
- Erfan (6/5): - Fine
- paul (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Room is extremely clean. Dining options, food was good
- Rommel (8/5): - Overall it was great, old rooms but clean friendly staff, I would definitely go back, casino is small but it is what it is
- Alexandria (10/5): - Staff did excellent
- Michael (8/5): - Just your basic hotel. Has a bed, shower, mini fridge and TV. That's it. No coffee maker, not even an alarm clock lmao
Front desk girl was super nice and cute, the women who sets your game card up for you was helpful too. Staff was overall great.
Casino is small but has all your main games you see everywhere, won some and lost some.
Overall great experience for the price.
- Babgi Benher (6/5): - reasonable price, could have provided better ambience in the lobby, AC works fine but broken vents.
- Annamarie (8/5): - While old, it was still clean. The staff is friendly and they are eager to assist. It is a great place to stay when you are in between places with a couple dogs. Would stay again.
- priscilla (10/5): - We always return for Mike the best bartender.
- Norwing (2/5): - Hidden fees.đ
After we leave they take $50 additional of my payment from my deposit was not fair at all.
Smell of cigarettes đŹ everywhere.
- Chad (2/5): - Hotel was filthy and found food on the floor from the previous occupants. Casino has no A/C. Charged me $100 for deposit then kept $17 for an early check in fee that I was not told about when checking in. Has sketchy people hanging out around the hotel. Staff is unfriendly and inconsiderate.
- wanda (10/5): - Comfortable and hospitable
- Andrea (10/5): - We loved are stay there friendly service and the Food was excellent for a great price room service was so very helpful. I recommend this hotel to family and friends
- Gabor (8/5): - Older hotel in a neighborhood I questioned first. The staff ensured me that this property and parking was safe, so I stayed.
- Sue (10/5): - The staff is just awesome.
- Linda (8/5): - Itâs good
- LarryW54385 (2/5): No longer a bargain - We have have stayed here once a year for the last 3 years. This year the carpet in the hallway was stained so badly it was gross. The toliet seat in our room was loose and the paint was half way off. The furniture is beat up. Beware the parking lot in the back stains your shoes and if you try to clean your shoes⌠they charge you for towels! I was called a liar about the parking lot by their assistant manager. Longhorn Casino and Hotel raised their prices to about what Samâs Town and Boulder Station and a few other nicer places charge. Coffee and tea in the restaurant is $3.79. Steak was all grissel and the lobster was fatty.
- Judy (8/5): Good stay - Longhorn is an outdated hotel. But the people who work there are good people. Theyâre friendly and polite and helpful. The room was very clean but very outdated. My husbandâs bed clunked when he sat on the edge of the bed. It made us laugh. The casino has a lot of different games but is small and got crowded, The playerâs club is old fashioned and they give you extra goodies to make your stay fun. We went to the restaurant for breakfast and it was delicious and our waiter was really nice. All in all we had a good stay.
- Terri (10/5): - The front desk attendant she had the greatest customer service I've had in a while.
- LINDA (8/5): - Great price. Friendly staff. Rooms are outdated and worn but everything worked.
- Deandre (10/5): - Excellent job finding me a place always
- Jessie Marie (10/5): - It was quick and easy to check into.
- Mandi (10/5): - The pool is nice and cool
- Paula (10/5): - Not the greatest looking place, clean and functional
- Lovena (4/5): - It was ok for the circumstances.
- Sean (10/5): - Great place for the price. Helpful staff
Great restaurant
Nice pool
Will return
Its old but clean- comfortable.
- Anthony (6/5): - Could use a major renovation. Thereâs signs of wear everywhere.
- Michael (10/5): - Hotel was clean, quiet & was pet friendly ill stay again
- Shannon (6/5): - Convenient
- Joaquin (10/5): - Very good
- Jacob (2/5): - Check in staff was supremely unhelpful and copped an attitude as soon as i mentioned i had a pet, even though they are a pet friendly hotel. Then proceeded to deny me a room despite my debit card not being a prepaid card the checkin lady refused to check or verify my card was accepted. I am now having a wonderful time at the best western 10 minutes down the road.
- Keisha (10/5): - They are very friendly people and this is were I always stay at when I come to Vegas
- Yuniel (10/5): - Todo muy bueno muy buena comida buen precio y buena atenciĂłn les doy no un 5 sino 10 estrellas **********
- Gilbert (6/5): - No wifi and hotel was dated...
- Johan (10/5): - Staying at this hotel reminded me of how it used to be before all the glitziness and automation. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant, the bar, the promotions desk and even the cleaning staff seemed genuinely friendly and happy to see us. This place is not big on size, but definitely big on heart! The most reasonable price I could find, yet one of the cleanest hotels in which Iâve stayed in the past 20 years. Check in even comps you one tree drink per guest, a free souvenir, and a choice of some small gifts when you join their free players club. Just a great, down-home, old-fashioned hotel & casino.
- Mitzi (6/5): - Our stay was quick as we were just traveling through. 2 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 adults. Check in was super easy and quick. The rooms are old but clean. Beds were okay. Dog area was small with some sand but the dogs had a place to go. Best part was all the freebies we got from the casino....đ A chip clip, cookies, hand sanitizer, key chains, $20 gambling credit, and a free drink. đ It was a very smoky casino as our eyes burned at the end of the night but it was fun gambling.
- Aimee r (10/5): - We arrived early and were able to get right in the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. No complaints, food was decent and thereâs a large variety offered.
- Sterling (10/5): Been coming here for years. - Great hotel at great price. Friendly staff.
- Jessica (10/5): - It was clean the room the lobby. smelt good when you walk in not like heavy cigarette smell staff was friendly and knowledgeable
- Brian (6/5): - The property and its rooms are very old and many things are worn down or broken. The entrance is adjacent to the casino, which is very smoky. The staff is friendly and helpful. The first room I was given had a nonfunctional air conditioner. They immediately swapped it out with another unit, but that one didn't work either. They transferred me to a new room, and that one was acceptable. The TVs and programming on them are also old and limited.
- sanjeev (6/5): - Rooms are fine but showers are not good . aC unit was pretty old
- Maria (10/5): - Loved it
- amit (4/5): - Their maid service is not good. We called them to clean our room. They did not come and clean. Dissapointing!
- Adrian (10/5): - The dinner in the casino was good and had late night spacails
- Dianna (10/5): Would stay here again - Carpet was very dirty but overall everything was great!
- Nicole (4/5): - The staff were pleasant and the room was in ok shape. It was outdated and smelled like cigarettes! Wasnât terrible but wasnât great
- Timothy (8/5): Little with a big heart - From what the facility lacked in luster it made up in service and price! Over all a great experience!
- Jesus (10/5): - Excellent place confortable
- Randall (2/5): Rude staff at the desk! - Staff very rudely evicted us from the hotel because our dog got sick & threw up on the bed, and we cleaned it up as best we could with towels, but they charged me $65 for the comforter & towels and asked us to leave!! We had 2 days left on our stay & we had to go out on short notice to find new lodging! Avoid at all costs.
- Marian (8/5): Good rate ok room - Longhorn casino has an older hotel that has not been upgraded. Room was clean and maintained but bed was pretty uncomfortable.
- Barbara (8/5): My regular place to stay - I travel to Vegas every 4 weeks. The Longhorn is were I stay since it is off the strip and priced good. It is a small older casino but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable (at least for me). The onsite restaurant has good food, friendly service, and good prices.
- michelle (10/5): - N/a
- Andrew (8/5): - Nice spot outside of downtown. Good restaurant at the hotel.
- Johanna (10/5): - The staff was super friendly and approachable. The check-in process was quick and easy, and I would definitely stay here again!
- Linda (2/5): - Old and dirty
- Michelle D (8/5): - Other than it's surrounding location and it's very outdated image...
The staff was outstanding! Amanda assisted on check in and she was most helpful and polite! Lol ved the hotel perks on checking in, that was great!
The room was clean and fresh smelling, granted we only stayed one night it was a quick trip.
We did eat at the restaurant and food was good, would have ate the again.
Overall I would recommend this hotel, it may not be some fancy hotel on the strip, but loved that it was off the beaten path and we able to walk around to other things then Lyft/Uber to the strip.
Thank you!
- Mark (8/5): - Economical and nice staff. A bit dated but clean.
- Valerie (6/5): - No cold water to room, (not in sink, or tuband or to toilet which would not fill due to that). The problem was the feed from outside of the room. No offer was made to give me another room. It was very late after a long day so I didn't pursue that from my end. Manager refunded the extra $12
- Nidhi (2/5): - Not value for money
- Robert (6/5): - Facility is in need of upgrade, however, still a respectable value. Staff is very helpful.
- Connie (8/5): - Great to find a dog-friendly hotel in a safe area. Plenty of free parking and very reasonable meals available.
- Neelam (4/5): - Old, tired building and funky smell as soon as you enter. Bathroom had rusted focet.
- Jeramie (10/5): - Second stay here and great for a budget trip to Vegas
- Ramona (6/5): - Too smelly and reception are too close to smoking area
