- Julie (9/5): Logement idéal à Prince Rupert ! - Très confortable, idéalement situé, le personnel est très sympathique ! Rien
- Brendan (7/5): -
- R. Scott (8/5): -
- Marc (6/5): It did the job and we enjoyed the breakfast - Tv and breakfast were good Room window right in front of cars
- Sierra (10/5): -
- William (10/5): A great place to stay. - The room with a harbour view is well worth the splurge. It is a great location near shops and restaurants and about 1 block from the airport shuttle depot. The parking lot is a little too small.
- Dean (8/5): -
- Felicia (8/5): It’s a nice quiet place to stay when having to stay in Rupert overnight - It’s a nice quiet place to stay when having to stay in Rupert overnight
- Kim (9/5): Cosy comfortable satisfaction - The property was conveniently located. Premises were always in very clean condition. The property is well maintained. Everything functioned well. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked that the bedding was eco-tex certified, so no harmful chemicals. Also it was nice not to have carpet on the floor. None of my allergies flared while staying there. I was very satisfied. It was a good place to stay and I would stay there again.

- Bima77 (10/5): Pick the Right Room! - We stayed for four nights in March of 2026, and booked a 2-queen-bed room on the harbor side of the hotel. The room features a magnificent view out over the water below, giving lots of natural light. Blackout curtains and a quiet atmosphere are perfect for a good night's sleep. The beds are very comfortable, with extra pillows and blankets. The heater is quiet and efficient. The free wifi is adequate, if not the world's fastest.
The hotel provides complimentary coffee all day long, as well as filtered water. The continental breakfast of fruit, pastries, boiled eggs, cereal, waffles, toast etc. is a good way to ease into the day. Staff are very professional and accommodating.
The one caveat is that rooms on the parking-lot side of the building would provide a much different experience. Vehicle noise, headlights coming on mere feet from the window, and a view consisting of those same vehicles is a whole different reality. Spending a few extra dollars makes a huge difference here!
- Caitlyn (10/5): Always Cozy & Comfortable. - We love the location and the feeling of comfort. We also enjoyed the breakfast and appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms and the fresh smell of the linens. The beds are so comfortable and pillowy soft, the heat works and the fan in the bathroom turns on and the shower head comes off and its adjustable. Figuring out how to use the tv and explore the channels was a bit frustrating. there's an arm chair but there isnt an office chair, it would be crowded if there was. so we just used the luggage holder as an extra chair because there's three of us. we like to get takeout and eat in so seating is important to us, but we don't mind making do. there was nothing that we didn't particularly like about our stay at all.
- peter (8/5): overall pleasant. we have stayed here before. Will stay again because of its location on the harbour - this small hotel is user-friendly, nicely equipped and the location on the harbour is picturesque. the breakfast area and client lounge is quiet and we were able to usedit well for working. Lots of coffee available in the lobby - good! the room was comfortable, the shower alittle tricky to figure out and couldn't be adjusted without actually getting wet. the TV system was not user-friendly. TV system was confusing. Shower would only work on the hand-held appliance and could not be shifted to the overhead. could n't be adjusted without actually getting into the shower and getting wet.
- Jim (8/5): -
- Kevin (8/5): - Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Vet good location.
- Julia (10/5): - Bed was comfy & had wonderful view. Clean & quiet. Stay was too short!
- Mike (8/5): -
- Norma (10/5): Most excellent ! - Location and decor, ambience - cozy.
- Shari (7/5): - Location was great.
Staff friendly Heater was extremely loud every time it kicked in. Was awoken multiple times in the night due to this
- A2883FOkathleens (8/5): Inn at the Harbour stay - We recently stayed 2 nights at the Inn on the Harbour. Overall it was a very nice experience. The hotel is older but it was clean, friendly staff and free coffee, water and cookies for guests. We had a lovely room on the top floor, king size bed and view of the ocean. The bathroom is a bit small but fine for 2 people. Our bed was amazingly soft and comfy with awesome pillows and comforter. The hotel offers a continental breakfast but everything is behind a counter so you can't "help yourself". You have to wait to order from a staff person. I have stayed at many hotels and the continental breakfast is always open to guests. I think the Inn should rethink this as it backs up when it gets busy. Overall I would still rate their continental breakfast as good. They also have a great sitting area with a view. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.
- Laura (10/5): - Friendly staff ,great location to where I needed to be Nothing everything is great
- Christina (9/5): Excellent spot, fabulous breakfast too! - Interesting view across harbour The colours in hallway were a bit too bold for me.
- Sue (8/5): - Extremely friendly and competent staff. Being near the bus station needed for the airport transfer was a bonus!
- Claudia (8/5): Gutes Hotel für 1 Nacht - Wir waren nur 1 Nacht da und sind erst spät abends von der Fähre gekommen, kurzer Weg zur Fähre,
später Check in kein Problem, Frühstück war gut,
- Deepti (4/5): - Room had a very odd small and stale air. Drainage in the sink and tub didnt work very well.
- panbear (6/5): Good but value not there. - Staff were friendly and location is great. Very near a Tim Hortons and other food places. Nice view of Harbour.
Nice extras in room like binoculars and a rag for makeup etc.
Can’t go higher in the ratings as the value is just there for what you get compared to others. Rooms are def. dated and a bit cramped. It was ok clean but in need of a deep clean. Beds were comfortable
Breakfast was continental and manned by one person which caused a bit of a backlog. Seems spread out with self serve might be easier and more efficient. There was a boil water advisory on while there and needed to get drinking and toothbrushing water from the cooler at front.
Over all ok but the value for price point was not there.
- David (10/5): - The room was good. The amenities were good. The check in was awesome. The guy checking people in was amazingly efficient. We got off the ferry late and tired
There were loads of people checking in and we expected a long wait, but the man at the counter was awesomely efficient so there was virtually no wait. I was not fond of the way they do breakfast. The food was good, but you have to ask for each item.
- jefferson (8/5): a night after our ferry voyage - after our ferry from port hardy we had booked this hotel to stay at once we got off and glad we did knowing the front desk was open 24/7. we arrive around 2:30am with other passengers and then went off to our room which had comfy beds, great pillows (no lumps) and what was needed in a clean bathroom. only gripe was the continental breakfast which most of it wasn't self serve and a person behind a desk prepared what you wanted...that was odd, but maybe necessary due to most people being slobs.
- Julie (8/5): - Convenient to the harbour
- Andrea (7/5): -
- Shannon (6/5): - Was friendly, accommodating for early clevk in and reasonably clean.
Upon closer inspection, the rug and under the rug were filty and had a lot of crumbs.
I tried taking a nap after only 2 hrs of sleep the night before, sounded like a heard of elwphants above me. They didnt offer to move me and didnt have any ear plugs.
All night i vould hear doors opening and closing loudly and voicea. Very thin walls/doors.
- Xander (7/5): -
- Anna (6/5): Comfortable, Affordable and Convenient Stay - Breakfast was included and there were lots of choices. Trish served us and was very friendly. She helped us plan a walk for the day too. The room is dated.
- Rebecca (9/5): -
- Jody (4/5): - The room smelled like smelly feet. I changed rooms and the smell was the same.
There was a water restriction in Rupert and you were supposed to boil your water before using it for anything.
The front desk charged for bottled water. I paid over 250. for the night and I would have thought they would give you a bottle of water.
- Terry (10/5): -
- Conny (8/5): Super fijn verblijf - Centraal gelegen en heel vriendelijk personeel. Zelfs ontbijt werd voor ons klaar gemaakt bij vroeg vertrek
- Garry (10/5): - Dd
- Josh (8/5): - Great beds
- Gwendal (8/5): -
- Corina (10/5): -
Toller Service! Nichts
- Kerry (10/5): - Like the area. Stunning views.
- LORENZO (8/5): -
- Marianne (8/5): Aufenthalt war o.k. - Zimmer war gut, sehr sauber Die Empfangsdame bei Ankunft war sehr unfreundlich
- Denise (6/5): Disappointed with the price that we paid. - View from our room. The breakfast room process - more hygienic this way. We were not advised of the water advisory. Reception did not seem pleased when i asked for bottled water. Had to supply the water for our room via paper cups at the water dispenser in the lobby. The room rental was overpriced.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great views and comfortable room. Service was a little abrupt but still the best place to stay in Prince Rupert.
- Karen (10/5): - Ok whatever else great local choice. Forgot my wallet/ purse in commotion of leaving after one night on way to Haida gwaii. Notic d in ferry lineup. Freak out. Called hotel manager who kindly got local taxi to rush it over. He zoomed in just n time and wouldn’t take payment. What a great place and town.
- Julie (8/5): - Good place after late night ferry arrival. Check in fast efficient and friendly.
Breakfast with a view
- Robert (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay.
- Luckykil (8/5): Comfortable secure accommodation in Charming Prince Rupert - Nice water view - very kind & accommodating to late ferry arrivals - clean room - great shower - comfortable beds - great location - easy free parking - quiet and secure. Binoculars in the room were a nice touch! Breakfast was limited.
- PATI (9/5): Great convenient place - Recently redone comfortable room. Very clean. Staff was great. Friendly and helpful! It was easy to find and we were tired getting off the ferry. Breakfast was good. I liked the breakfast attendant, she knows her stuff! The bed was a little too soft. The room and bathroom a little small.
- Dan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Companion25252279182 (8/5): Visit to the harbour - Check in was great. Room was comfortable. View was fantastic. The breakfast area was interesting. Access to the breakfast cereals and some bagels premade waffles yogurts and boiled eggs was restricted. A guest had to request the breakfast. Not terrible until 6 folks came in and bottlenecked the breakfast area maybe consider a different approach. Other than that it was really nice very expensive for what it was. Sparkle hills in Kelowna expensive.
- Adriaan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): - Everything was good
- Hal (10/5): - Nice renovation
- Gaynsr (10/5): 2 nights July - Great location for our onwards journey from Prince Rupert on the ferry. Hotel is right on the coast so nice views of the sea.
Rooms were a good size and breakfast was very good.
- Sandra (10/5): - Beautiful views of Prince Rupert sound.
- Louis (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (8/5): - Unfortunately, the first room we stayed in had left over food from previous guest. The smell was awful. They did change rooms for us but the bed was not comfortable.
- htravelbug (8/5): Pleasant Hotel; Helpful Staff - The front-desk staff were very helpful, courteous & professional, offering a warm welcome when we checked in. The woman who ran the breakfast in the morning was also helpful. The breakfast was good, as guests could opt to have cereal, toast, bagels, juice, coffee & fresh fruit. I think there was instant oatmeal too. The room was comfortable & the bathroom was clean & seemed to have been refreshed recently. Parking was convenient, as it was immediately in front of the hotel. For a room that had a view of the parking lot, the rate may have been a bit high. But, it isn’t wildly out of line with other accommodations. I think a view of the water would have been preferable, but it was ~$50 more a night. It was a pleasant stay at the hotel
- H9410TNrhondas (4/5): Completely overpriced - Very overpriced, rooms weren’t as clean as they could’ve been, staff not very courteous. Shampoo and soap dispensers for the shower, empty. Parking was in an empty lot, garbage all over and muddy. Manager was more interested in his lunch and security camera, didn’t even help the staff when a line up formed. Breakfast was decent, staff seemed very overwhelmed. Wouldn’t stay there again.
- Richard (10/5): Short but suite stay - We were stayed overnight on our way from Haida Gwaii back to Port Hardy by ferry. The hotel staff were very welcoming - we even received a room upgrade when we mentioned it was our 30th wedding anniversary!
They provided a brown-bag breakfast service for those, like us, who are making an early start to catch the 7.30am ferry, which was very much appreciated.
Our harbour-view room was very comfortable with a large shower, plenty of seating and an extremely comfortable king bed
- Helen (8/5): Pleasant Hotel; Great Staff - The front-desk staff were very helpful, courteous & professional, offering a warm welcome when we checked in. The woman who ran the breakfast in the morning was also helpful. The breakfast was good, as guests could opt to have cereal, toast, bagels, juice, coffee & fresh fruit. - Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice staff. Overall it was a good place to stay after getting off the Port Hardy ferry
- Andrea (10/5): - Friendly staff. Quick easy check-in. Clean room. Amazing comfortable bed and pillows. Good amenities. Close walking to everything.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- DIMITRI (10/5): - Friendly place. We would stay there again, no problem.
- Christine (10/5): - Nice
- Ralph (8/5): Very good -
- C J (10/5): Good stay - Good little hotel. Nice decor
- stephanie (10/5): - Friendly staff. Clean quiet rooms. Nice breakfast
- Brad (8/5): Very good -
- Yves (10/5): - Loved my stay, friendly staff
- Shirley (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good options for continental breakfast. Efficient check in and out. Also love being able to open a window for fresh air. Clean updated bathroom Coffee was okay. Could improve on that. Otherwise great place to stay
- traceyh605 (8/5): Very good, apart from the breakfast service - Stayed for a couple of nights before getting the ferry to Vancouver Island. Hotel very well situated for the ferry, and overall really nice. Room was a good size and very clean. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the lady serving breakfast, we found her to be very rude and she made us feel like we were a nuisance when asking for our breakfast items. And be sure to clear up your plates and cutlery as you leave the breakfast room, or you're in trouble! We were actually quite glad that we were getting a take out breakfast on the second morning, due to the early ferry!
- Deboer (7/5): Average stay - breakfast was OK If we would have been able to serve ourselves
- Ted4u (8/5): Very good - The staff were cheery and informative. The town appeared a bit worn
- Gwen (8/5): Very good -
- Becky (10/5): Comfortable stay with good location and service - Complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise. Nice finishing in room furniture, felt quality.
The lounge was a nice place to socialize with fellow guests, esp when weather was poor and we had to wait for ferry to go to Haida gwaii. Nice small touches like on loan umbrellas and print out fishing licenses Lower rate for water view upgrade of the same day
- Mike (9/5): Mike 🇬🇧 - The hotel is perfectly located for the business end of the town with everything in walking distance.
The most perfect location for a 5 minute drive to the ferry ⛴️ terminal.
We walked to Dolly's fish market and restaurant for dinner and it was superb. The only thing I didn't like was the modern hand basin in the bathroom, the electric mirror with touch screen for perimeter lighting is brilliant, but being a man with shovel like hands, the modern basin was too shallow and i have seen deeper water filled potholes on the highway.
- Cheryl (8/5): - Property was cramped. Front desk staff was less than helpful, did not have suggestions for local dining, etc. Housekeeping staff was very nice.
- Waltraud (10/5): - The front desk guy was informal, friendly and helpful. The room had been aired out and smelled good. It had a lovely view of the harbour.
- Chris (9/5): Superb - View from room with binoculars provided No displayed menu at breakfast made choices difficult
- Joseph (8/5): Very good - the location was very good and the staff pleasant. This is a fairly new, clean, comfortable facility, Something occurred to our inquiry about a pet-friendly room and did not get through to the facility, so the pet-friendly rooms were all gone by the time we arrived, This created some minor but ultimately solved problems.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Great place
- David (9/5): Nice hotel within walking distance to downtown Prince Rupert - Nice clean rooms and comfy bed. The location is close to a mall, and also where the Prince Rupert Airport shuttle drops off and picks up. If travelling for work, make sure you get a King room with a work desk.
- Brown (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, quiet Small beds
- Darren (6/5): - Did not think it was worth the price paid.
- Staal (8/5): Very good -
- Sherryl (10/5): - Beautiful views of the Harbour to whale watch with your morning coffee. We ended up in a king suite which was really nice. Lots of room. Nice big tub and all the regular room amenities. Only downside is if you have to walk it’s a bit of a jaunt to cow bay. We are in our 50’s so after the first day of walking it got a little old for me. Lol. I may choose to stay closer to and on the other side of the mall as it was not convenient to get around the mall at nite after it closed. You have to walk through the mall to get to the other side to get to cow bay if that makes sense. The hotel staff were all very nice. Room was clean and great location. I would recommend especially if you don’t mind walking. If that’s not issue for you then this is good value for your dollar with beautiful views.
- Patti (10/5): - Great place to stay and a beautiful lounge. We watched whales in the harbor. My only complaint is the awful jazz music in the lounge. So, bring headphones. .
- Giselle (9/5): Excellent place - The breakfast was very good, great selection, friendly staff member. The beds were super comfy. The place was quiet and the parking was secure. We could open the window and control the temperature in our room. Was restful. The pillows felt like foam chip pillows and weren't very comfy. We could hear refrigerated semi's running all night long.
- Dona (9/5): We spent hours sitting in the lounge area, even watched two humpback whales playing in the Harbour! - It was a basic, good breakfast served by a friendly lady [so nobody touched any items but her!]
- GordonWendy (8/5): - Property was very clean. Not sure why, but accommodations in this town are very expensive.Breakfast is adequate.
- Hector (9/5): good competition for the Crest Hotel - room wise for sure. I'd be happy staying there again. - Location great. Room great. AC was a bit noisy. This place needs a restaurant and bar. Nothing else.
Then it could compete very well with the Crest Hotel.
- Julia (10/5): Excellent Holiday - Excellent view. Comfy bed.
Convenient breakfast facilities. Wish I could have stayed longer.
