• GG (9/5): Tolles Hotel in einem "weißen Dorf" in Andalusien - Vejer de la Frontera ist ein tolles "weißes" Bergdorf hinter der Costa de la Luz. Die Casa Shelly liegt mitten im alten Kern des Ortes, daher ist es etwas schwierig mit Auto und Gepäck zu erreichen. Allerdings ist das Gebäude, die Gemeinschaftsküche, die Terrasse und auch das Zimmer sehr schön und immer sehr sauber (guter Zimmerservice). Der Strand von El Palmar ist innerhalb von 15 min mit dem Auto erreichbar. Restaurants und Frühstückscafes sind zahlreich in direkter Nähe der Casa. Wenn man sein Auto unterbringen will, gibt es die Möglichkeit einen Parkplatz in einer relativ nahen Tiefgarage für 12 Euro die Nacht zu mieten. Außer des Gepäck-/Auto Problems beim Ein- bzw. Auschecken wegen der tollen Lage in einem alten Bergdörfchen ist absolut nichts Negatives zu erwähnen.

Chris was very helpful with all questions and requests and was happy to help with recommendations for places to eat and things to do whilst in the area. Nothing to dislike.

Apesar de não servirem pequenos almoços, existe uma cozinha, e uma salinha, onde são disponibilizadas aos hóspedes condições para tomar café ou chá, havendo ainda fruta, bolinhos e leite. Uma gentileza muito agradável! A cozinha está completamente equipada, presumivelmente para os hóspedes que pretendem fazer as refeições em casa. Nós apenas pernoitamos um fim de semana, pelo que essa questões não se pôs.

Il ragazzo alla reception é stato veramente gentile e un bravissimo host . Possibilità di prendere un caffè e un muffin nella loro cucina comune molto apprezzato. Non do 10 solo perché la nostra camera era la piano terra e la vista sia bagno che camera dava sul interno del patio , abbiamo percepito poca privacy.

The terrace was the highlight for us. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Parking in the garage was very convenient. Chris was a wonderful host. Nothing.

• P (6/5): Pleasant - It’s a nice space, with a light patio. There’s a clean kitchen with free coffee, magdalenas,fruit. Our room (“small double room”), had a nice balcony. The rooms get cleaned every day. There was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. I had seen it in another comment, but I wrongly assumed it would have been fixed by now. Unfortunately it made the whole room smell. We also found a big bug in the shower when we first entered the room.

• Nicholas (8/5): Lovely host, beautifully presented in a modern clean style and very quiet. - Very quiet, good location and beautifully presented in a really lovely town with great dining choices close by. Although we knew no breakfast was included Providing a little more provisions in the kitchen maybe some bread and local honey or preserves and cereal would be a nice extra touch to save having to go out for breakfast. Also driving to the property to drop off luggage can be a bit challenging when in a hire car or bigger car ! But understand that is the nature of a small hill top village. Definitely recommend parking in the car park but quite a drag up and down hills and steps if you have heavy luggage .. Our balcony lovely but in March shady most of the day ….

Creo que mi pareja se quedó la almohada buena y me dejó a mí la otra que era algo más blanda. Pero igualmente dormimos súper bien. Pd: si te molestan las campanas de la Iglesia no vayas, porque la tienes al lado. A mí es algo que no me importó ni molestó por eso no lo veo como malo.

A parte cuenta con zonas comunes como un saloncito y también una cocina donde poder desayunar, comer o cenar. Por cortesía, te ponen fruta, café y bollería.

Nos tememos que no tiene remedio pero las campanadas a las 8 de la mañana de la iglesia cercana obligan a empezar el día de buena mañana.

• Ángel (8/5): Alojamiento en el mismo centro del municipio - Alojamiento situado en el mismo centro de Vejer. Decoración tradicional, cuidada y con buen gusto. Dejan por cortesía café, infusiones y algunos aperitivos en la cocina, detalle que se agradece. Personal atento y disponible La estancia, en nuestro caso, la estropeó el mal olor del baño, que un um daba el resto de la habitación si no se mantenía la puerta constantemente cerrada. En esa habitación es importante que solucionen este aspecto.

• Gwenaëlle (10/5): Un superbe endroit ! - Une chambre d'hôte magnifique, décoration élégante partout dans cette belle maison de village au patio reposant, une très belle chambre au calme, la possibilité de se préparer son petit-déjeuner le matin et de le prendre soit en intérieur, soit dans une petite cour, et bien sûr l'accueil attentionné de Chris. Intéressant de passer au moins deux jours pour rayonner autour (plages pas loin quand il fait bien chaud), parc naturel tout près, et le superbe village de Vejer, qui nous a conquis ! Petit bonus, avec le très beau hamam à côté :-) Tout était parfait !

• Jessica (10/5): Gorgeous hotel - it won’t disappoint! - Great location for Vejer, gorgeous rooms. We stayed with friends for a wedding at Casa Shelly and it was perfect. Host couldn’t have been more accommodating and everything went well. Nothing bad to say. Just to be aware it’s hard to get to reach with a car so you’ll have to park in town and walk 5-7 mins (but that’s the case for most!).
