Despite the large bedroom, by comparison the bathroom felt cramped and the decor was tired. The view out the window looked into other people's houses and so privacy was compromised.

• Simon (9/5): - I loved everything about my stay at The Edit The room was spacious, the bed was so big especially for one person lol. It also had a fridge to hold drinks and food and a microwave. The hotel staff were so kind and helped me when I needed it as I was loading all of my stuff into the car I'd left my hotel key in the room and couldn't get back in. But a staff member on-site that morning assigned a key card to my room so I could get back in. Overall it was amazing I will definitely be staying there again and highly recommend staying here. Honestly there was nothing I didn't like

• Stephen David (9/5): I enjoyed the stay in this property. Liked the staff who was very helpful (the lady from Mexico). - The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful in providing information we were looking for. There was no lift in the building. So we have to take stairs to our 3rd floor. For light travelers this may not be a problem but for those with heavy luggage may need to request for the lower floor.

Everything I needed for my brief stay The room I stayed in was down a few stairs, meaning when I left in the early morning, I had to drag my heavy suitcase up them again to get to reception. Only about halfa dozen steps in total, but it would have been nice to know in advance.
• Steve (8/5): Overall our trip was very , very good. - We had the last downstairs room across from the the night door so it was easy to access our car. Very quiet room, heard only a few foot steps From the floor above. We catered for ourselves and were staying for four nights. We found it quite difficult to eat and drink our meals as there was only one chair and no table. Also the cups were shallow and small with no saucers - very awkward sitting on the bed! Found the shower good except it was hard to keep the water the bathroom!!

• José (7/5): Not very pleasant facilities but charming staff and great location - Location was good in a calm neighborhood with good connections to the city center either by bus and by car. Staff were charming. They didn’t even clean the room a little from one day to another and the place was pretty humid the whole time, with not a very pleasant smell when entering the room.

Leider waren die Zahlungsmodalitäten etwas sonderbar. Man musste eine Bondzahlung (Sicherheit) leisten (100NZDollar) bzw authorisieren per Kreditkarte. Entspricht wohl unserer Kaution bei Wohnungsmieten. Letzlich wurden die 100 Dollar nicht abgebucht weil ja alles in Ordnung war, aber es hat uns doch etwas beunruhigt (Stichwort mangelndes Vertrauen) Das haben wir so noch nie erlebt weder auf unserer Reise in Neuseeland noch auf unseren Reisen davor. Darunter leidet der positive Eindruck des Hotels und wir hätten es vermutlich nicht gebucht, wenn wir vorher von der Bondzahlung gewusst hätten!

Told owner but did nothing about it. Had to purchase an eyemask to sleep the following night. Only one flat pillow per person, not comfortable.

It did overlook a backyard full of rubbish which was not great and the lighting could have been better inside. Stairs, breakfast could have had a few more things like banana bread.

Comfortable bed and great communication regarding a late check in - very easy process. Only negative was no face flannel supplied, and only one teaspoon- very minor as could wash it but… Otherwise fab.

My credit card being charged $100 as a security deposit with promise of a refund within 3 days. Most places take a copy but only process the charge if required. Hopefully the refund comes as promised.

Le personnel n'a pas proposé de chambre spécifique réservée aux handicapés. -Mobilier : meuble de salle d'eau correct mais à fait son temps (signes de vieillesse) -Placard : rails coulissants à changer (effort pour faure coulisser les portes) -Cuisine : peu d'espace pour préparer à manger - La TV ne fonctionnait pas et pas d'abonnement NETFLIX - laundry en self-service : situé au 2nd étage sans ascenseur et seule machine à laver et 1 dryer ( il faut se lever tôt pour être sûr d'avoir la place) -Le patio proposé en rez de chaussée n'est pas privatif (ce serait plutot un couloir!) et manque de mobilier pour s'y poser
