Mohamed-walid (1/5): Nul - J’ai fait la réservation sur Booking, j’ai contacté l’établissement pour savoir si ma réservation était bien arrivée, ils m’ont répondu que oui une fois sur place, ils me disent qu’ils n’ont pas de chambre avec Lit King size, mais deux lits séparés que si je voulais une chambre avec Lit size, il fallait que je rajoute de l’argent en plus de ce qui était convenu Au petit matin à la lumière du jour, je me rends compte que les draps avaient des auréoles. Je trouve que cet hôtel est largement surcoté avec des prix très élevés dans les prestations ne sont pas au niveau.

Suvi (8/5): Erittäin siisti ja tilava huone isossa, turvallisessa hotellissa. - Aamiainen oli erittäin runsas, valinnanvaraa oli jopa liikaa. Hälinää oli paljon kiireisimpänä aikan (klo 7-8). Leipä oli erinomaista. Vastaanoton henkilökunta oli hyvin avuliasta ja ystävällistä. Italialaisessa (Jannah?) ravintolassa Islam-niminen tarjoilija ansaitsee erikoismaininnan palvelualttiudestaan. Huone oli tilava ja erittäin siisti. Siivoojat ystävällisiä ja tehokkaita. Informaatio oli olematonta. Huoneessa oli yksi vihkonen (vain ranskaksi!) , mutta siinäkin lähinnä yleistietoja Marriott-hotelleista. Olisimme kaivanneet tietoa uima-altaan ja span aukioloajoista, span palveluista ja hinnoista, huonepalvelun menusta ja hinnoista jne. Edes ranskaksi olisi luullut olevan joku esite. Olisi hyvä saada informaatiota myös englanniksi. Buffetravintolan ruoka oli hyvää mutta hinta oli hyvin korkea.
PeterAZ (8/5): How to spoil a lovely hotel Stay. - Because our suite was so nice I tried to send these suggestions and criticisms directly to Marriott but there was no way to do that on line so now it has to be public. The hotel itself is lovely and our suite, #429, was large and nicely furnished with lots of amenities. The view was spectacular from the mosque on the left and over the valley and several bridges. However there are some issues. A simple one to fix, and this applies to all hotels, please have a sink plug that closes. In our case we are traveling for 52 days and certainly not taking 52 pairs of underwear and socks each, so we bring a half dozen each and wash them in the sink when we are staying two nights or more. Here we stayed four nights. We had laundry done by the hotel but are certainly not giving them underwear. Next issue - on our first night we went to the restaurant on the first floor where we were told they were full and sent us to the one on the second floor where they told us that it was now open only for special events. The only other option was the bar but there was a guy outside charging about US$25 for men to enter (women are free) as the bar is part of the nightclub. We had to eat there but in a dark club environment and with a limited menu. The next night we went back to the first floor restaurant where it was only a buffet, which is fine if you are starving but a waste of money for us after we’d had a large lunch and just wanted a snack. To boot when we asked for the wine list they said they didn’t have one but had red and white wine. We wanted to know what varieties but the best they could do was to bring two bottles and offer us a choice. For a large five star hotel this is unacceptable and certainly not the Marriott standard we are used to. There was a card by the bed saying they change the sheets every third day but our certainly were not. The WiFi is slow. This trip was to celebrate my wife’s 72nd birthday and my 80th, both on the same day, In a couple of the hotels we stayed in the week before, they sent up a birthday cake and other treats but here, on our actual birthday, absolutely nothing. As I said the dinner options were so poor that on our birthday we went to another hotel to dine. Come on Marriott, get your act together.

The check in was way too slow, asked me to fill up lots of paperwork as if I was buying a house! The room was not ready despite being 3pm local time. Dust in the room, the breakfast buffet was awful and inedible, not even a toaster to toast your bread, no orange juice despite being the best season for oranges, coffee was dreadful coming out of an old machine, pastries were disgusting, and the chef couldn't even cook 2 eggs! The Spa facilities were awful, basically there are none, guests of the hotel playing loud mobile phone sound in the Spa relaxation area, no bathrobes, unbelievable!! I will give it 3 star at best, and I'm being very generous, whoever wrote a good review about this hotel, either they never travelled before and do not know what 5 star really mean, or they got paid to write a positive review.

ayearinmotion (8/5): Good Marriott Standards - Professional service mostly. Lots of staff but some don’t know the right info. Gave us wrong time on breakfast causing us to miss it. Osama restaurant supervisor did his best to accommodate us (well done) however you could see the cooks bad attitude (not good). Rooms looking at the city have the most amazing view. They are very well decorated and with lots of space. Super comfortable. Would definitely go back. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because ALL the staff should have knowledge of everything and the cooks showed bad attitude.

Radia (8/5): Parfait 👍 je recommande. - L’hôtel juste magnifique. La chambre était parfaite dommage qu’elle sentait la cigarette. On avait demandé une chambre non fumeur. L’emplacement de l’hôtel 15 à 30 mn en voiture de la ville et des sites touristiques. L’odeur de la cigarette froide dans la chambre. Petit déjeuner à améliorer.

Pat25300 (7/5): supers infrastructures mais dommage pour le management - L'emplacement splendide La literie très confortable et la qualité de la chambre en général, magnifique salle de bain. Accueil correct à la réception, j'avais le bras dans le plâtre et personne pour nous aider avec les bagages. Le room service très bien Le petit-déjeuner. C'était l'enfer, aucune organisation de l'équipe, on se demandait s'il y avait un manager. a 9h30 il manquait de tout au buffet vaisselle comprise. Nous avons compté 9 personnes au service dans l'espace petit-déjeuner et aucune table débarrassée ni propre. Le personnel tournait en rond mais semblait dépassé et en discutant avec d'autres clients ça avait l'air d'être habituel. Seules les personnes aux crêpes et œufs étaient efficaces. Par ailleurs oser servir des msemens surgelées du commerce (j'ai vu les emballages en direct) dans un hôtel comme le Marriott à Constantine est inacceptable. Des clients et du personnel fumaient au rez de chaussée derrière une porte pas loin des ascenseurs ça sentait le tabac ++ Dommage l'hôtel est vraiment beau mais ce n'est pas dirigé comme le mériterait un hôtel de cette catégorie. Il y a au moins 3 écoles hôtelières en Algérie donc trouver du personnel qualifié ne doit pas être un problème encore faut-il qu'il soit bien accompagné et encadré.

Melissa (1/5): On pensait être à Constantine, mais on se retrouve en Afghanistan. - Nous avons été agressés à la piscine intérieure du spa par un autre résident. Lui et sa famille ont fait un vacarme, retourné les vestiaires et n’ont cessé de nous dévisager parce que je portais un maillot de bain, alors que son épouse nageait en robe, ce qui est interdit par le règlement affiché. Finalement, le père est venu nous agresser au prétexte que je ne devais pas nager avec mon conjoint, alors que lui-même le faisait avec sa femme. Le jeune employé du spa ainsi que la manager sont venus nous voir et nous ont confirmé que ce client n’avait pas le droit de nous parler de cette façon et que nous n’avions rien fait de mal. Mais, à ma grande surprise, la direction de l’hôtel impose au personnel de suivre des directives d’inspiration islamiste extrémiste, interdisant toute forme de contact entre deux personnes, même un simple câlin. Ces directives, bien sûr, ne figurent nullement dans le règlement intérieur, sinon nous ne serions jamais venus, car nous ne soutenons en aucun cas ce genre d’idéologies extrémistes. Ce qui devait être un week-end détente s’est transformé en cauchemar, une véritable déception pour un hôtel international pourtant réputé à fuir absolument.

NOELLE (9/5): Reposant et agréable - L’accueil a la réception, et au Check out. Merci à Anis et Hind. premier bémol vite résolu avec le manque de serviette peignoir et article de bains. Les femmes de ménage sont très gentille, à l’écoute et professionnelle. Un grand merci Khadija, Lamia et Seif (les personnes qui s’occupent du ménage au 2 e). Globalement hôtel bien situé, à côté du tramway, massage bon rapport qualité prix et de qualité. Très belle architecture L’organisation dans la salle du petit déjeuner à notre premier jour, le service va dans tous les sens, Trop de proposition de plat sucré (croissant, pain au chocolat, feuillete, crêpe,…). Pour un 5 étoiles il manque des laits végétaux, graine de chia, du pain de type baguette, pain de seigle, de son….le grille pain à changer en urgence, sans parler de la machine à café défectueuse. Après il y a quand même du choix et le service est globalement bon. Notamment là où on peut commander des œufs, le café au lait et jus d’orange frais. Le personnel du petit déjeuner est serviable et souriant mais ça manque d’organisation et c’est pas un petit déjeuner d’un 5 étoiles. À supprimer : les sachets de thé de la Marque carrefour dans les chambres !

Assia (10/5): Séjour en famille inoubliable à Constantine, l'hôtel mérite ses 5 étoiles - Le petit déjeuner était exceptionnel mais ce que j'ai le plus apprécié est leur service client, de l'hôtesse de réception à la femme de ménage en passant par les barmans de la piscine, tout le personnel se plie en 4 pour vous satisfaire et vous faire sentir bien. L'hôtel est très très bien situé avec une vue panoramique sur la ville de Constantine, une vue magnifique lors des diners et des petits déjeuners. Très calme, propre et très sécurisé. Les chambres sont spacieuses et parfaitement bien décorées. Il y a deux piscines pour le goût de tout le monde, avec créneaux réservés aux femmes dans la piscine intérieure. Je n'ai malheureusement pas eu le temps de profiter de leur spa. Je le recommande vivement aux familles avec enfants, aux couples ou jeunes mariés et pour le travail avec une spacieuse salle de sport en prime. Rien. Tout s'est parfaitement déroulé.

Andrej (10/5): Absolutely amazing experience. - My three nights stay at this hotel was absolutely phenomenal! On the way to the hotel, me and my friend we got some serious problems with a car which caused a delay in our arrival to this hotel. Although we called the staff to inform them about our late arrival, we had no idea that we would arrive super late. Despite the fact the hotel cancelled our reservation in the meantime thinking that we wouldn't show up anymore, when we did very late at night, the reception staff was super fast and helpful to renew the reservation. I really appreciated their empathy with our difficult situation with the car and the very late arrival, and their effort to make everything very easy for us. The room was absolutely great, very spacious, great bathroom, super comfortable beds. I also enjoyed all the hotel facilities such as sauna, indoor and outdoor pools, and the gym, and they were all fantastic! We absolutely loved the breakfasts but what really stands out are the staff members. No matter if at the reception, in the restaurant, at the gym...they were all super professional. I wouldn't hesitate a single second to stay here again. THANK YOU! The only detail that caught me by surprise was during our first breakfast in the hotel restaurant. There was a big screen with a French TV channel on showing the live military parade from Paris celebrating the 14th of July. As a non-French speaking tourist I found it a bit disturbing and insensitive given the painful colonial history. Not sure if anyone paid attention at all. I work as a facilitator of Cultural Intelligence and I am sensitive to these subtle details which can make a lot of difference. I think this is a thing that can be addressed very easily and which could help this hotel to strengthen their position among the top class hotels.

Abdelkarim (10/5): - Très bon Hôtel, je tiens également à remercier l’équipe au petit déjeuner mais surtout Anis qui part sa gentillesse et son service client est digne des plus grand hôtel internationaux.
Simon (3/5): - Établissement confortable, charmant et un buffet délicieux. Un gros problème avec le standardiste Faycal Farid. En effet, du fait de l’absence de navette à 6:00, l’hôtel nous avait réservé un taxi qui n’était pas à l’heure et n’est jamais venu. Nous avons signalé à ce « charmant » standardiste que nous devions nous rendre impérativement à l’aéroport et si il pouvait trouver une solution si le taxi ne se présentait pas. Réponse de ce dernier « pas de solution ». La sécurité nous a indiqué gentiment de passer par une application pour chauffeur ce que nous ne pouvions faire du fait de l’absence de numéro algérien. Nous sommes donc revenu vers le standardiste pour lui demander à nouveau de trouver une solution et en lui demandant de rappeler un taxi ou d’utiliser l’application. Ce dernier n’a cessé d’indiquer que ce n’était pas son problème, qu’il avait perdu son téléphone et à force d’insistance, par magie, il a retrouvé son téléphone et nous a trouvé un chauffeur pour nous rendre après 30 minutes avec notre bébé dehors à l’aéroport. L’hôtel est luxueux et confortable mais il faut un personnel qui suit et qui est formé au travail et à l’abnégation ce qui n’était absolument pas le cas de ce jeune homme qui porte préjudice à la marque mariott et nous fait nous interroger sur nos futurs choix pour nos hôtels.
