- David (10/5): - This is a beautiful three room B and B on a quiet residential street within walking distance of the main downtown area of Niagara on the Lake. The main floor has a large living room, dining room and kitchen which is accessible to the guests. The upstairs has the three guest rooms. Our room was spacious with a king sized bed, closet space and a full attached bathroom. It also had a small refrigerator and television. During our 2 day stay the weather was very hot but the room stayed comfortable for sleeping. There was a fan that helped. Our hosts were very pleasant and accommodating. We were asked, when we arrived, if we were OK with breakfast at 9:00 am. As we did not have any morning plans we were fine with that. I am not sure what would have happened if we needed to eat earlier. My guess would be that we would have been accommodated. The breakfast was really a three course brunch. The food was excellent and the portions ample. Accommodations were made for a guest who was vegetarian and a guest who had a dairy allergy. We enjoyed our stay here and would return if we are back in NOTL.

- Carol (10/5): - We were so fortunate to be able to stay at the Blue Skies Bed and Breakfast in Niagara on the Lake. The entire home is immaculate, and the breakfasts were abundant and fantastic. We were made to feel like family, having full use of the beautifully appointed living areas, as well as a very spacious and private deck. It is very convenient to downtown and to the many wineries in the area. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone traveling to the area.

From there it was a short walk to the main street, and the return was also just over a km The hostel are wonderful and very helpful in getting us orientated. Breakfasts were a work of art as well as being healthy and delicious.

Breakfasts were amazing and very filling! Blue Skies is well situated for walking into and around the town (10 minutes we are told). A great find.

- Richard (10/5): A great experience! - We had an amazing week at Blue Skies. Right from the moment we rang the doorbell, we were treated as friends. Ranju and Kumari are wonderful hosts. The breakfast (actually a large brunch) is at 9:00am. Ranju has already prepared a freshly squeezed juice (everyday different) while Kumari is preparing a fruit entrée; they are always different and tasty. Two different freshly-made pastries are on the table (a loaf, croissants etc) then a hot breakfast arrives. No need to eat anything else until supper. We enjoyed discussing with our hosts, they are well travelled and interesting. They always provided needed info on places to see, wines to try, etc. The rooms were beautiful, very comfortable, clean, modern bathrooms, turn-down service with a chocolate on the pillow. This was a wonderful experience and hope to return to Blue Skies!

Each was presented on a different set of elegant linens & beautiful china with a different menu daily. Food was of excellent quality with home baked goods, individual breakfast entrees, and freshly made juices. There was more food than one could eat. Host and hostess accommodated special diets with great care. I give 4 stars only because the bed was too high, which seems to be a trend in B&Bs and hotels, unfortunately.

- Annette (10/5): Wonderful B & B! - We were in town for a wedding and chose to stay here rather than one of the hotels reserved for wedding guests. Excellent decision! The home is lovely, very clean, and the breakfasts were BEYOND DELICIOUS. Our only complaint is there was so much great food we stuffed ourselves each morning to the point of being uncomfortable! Our hosts were extremely accommodating of any dietary needs and wanted to ensure that each guest received the right food, and also prepared food at the time that we needed it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

- William (10/5): Stop searching for a place - THIS is your place! - From the second we arrived to the walk out to the car to leave, this was a great experience. We were greeted by our amazing hosts, Ranju & Kumari, and from that point every "i" was dotted and every "t" was crossed. The breakfasts were AMAZING and the house was immaculately clean. We also had a small medical issue while there and our hosts showed so much concern & cared for us - luckily nothing was serious. I would recommend BSB&B to anyone traveling to NOTL! The house is within walking distance to the main "strip" but just enough outside the hustle and bustle that it was very quiet and serene at the property. We took advantage of the covered porch during a brief period of rain - sitting with our bottle of wine and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

The couple was very enjoyable to converse with and the breakfast was AMAZING!!! We felt right at home. We were happy to find some coupons they left in our room and used many of them. We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary and what a surprise it was when after breakfast, they brought us a little cake with a lit candle. They went above and beyond and made our stay very memorable.

Breakfast was really good and our bedroom was lovely. We would definitely stay there again. It was our first stay in a bed and breakfast in Niagara On The Lake and we shall definitely stay at this B & B again.
- Louise Alabre (10/5): Best Breakfast anywhere! - You must stay here! Location was perfect. Walking distance to some wineries as well as to town, walking and bike paths. They also provide vouchers for discounted and/or free wine tastings at some of the vineyards. Kumari and Ranju are very accommodating. Every morning started with fresh squeezed juice such as carrot, celery, beets, apple and ginger and a fresh beautiful arranged bowl of fruit with fresh homemade whipped cream. Everything is prepared from scratch and is so delicious, such as homemade croissants and breads. Kumari and Ranju prepared several dishes each morning to accommodate each guests personal dietary choice. It is truly understandable why they are rated as a five star B&B.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Honestly, the cleanest, most beautiful, most hospitable B&B we have EVER stayed at! The breakfast was made with love. Wonderful homemade breads, eggs and fruit with fresh made cream yum. This couple is so sweet, we felt like we were staying with family. It’s also within walking distance from the historic downtown. They even gave us tons of coupons for tastings at the wineries. Definitely recommend and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved it!

Kumari and Ranju, the owners/hosts, were so hospitable, had the room prepared with a towel swan on the bed and cold waters, continually checked on any needs, and served the world's best breakfasts. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit with them and their B&B, from their proximity to town, to their constant friendly hospitality, and their delicious homemade juices, breads, hot breakfast, and assortment of coffees and teas. We highly recommend this B&B!

The freshly baked loaves with a variety of ingredients were wonderful. We certainly didn't need lunch after such a large breakfast. They were very knowledgeable about the area and ready to help out in any way that they could. We really appreciated this hospitality.

- Richard (10/5): Most Highly Recommended! - Ranju and Kumari are the epitome of generous hosts. Breakfast every day was an exquisite experience of homemade delights. Our room was well appointed and clean. The location is convenient to parks, walking trail and downtown Niagra on the Lake. This was, by far, our best B&B experience to date.

The house was spotless and the attention to detail in little things was outstanding! And then there was the breakfast...oh my,... Kumari is a chef of the first order. We were not used to the level of presentation and taste she provided! I would not hesitate to stay there again if we return to the area.
- Richard (6/5): - Lots of positives. Great room, friendly hosts, enjoyable breakfast. So why only 3 out of 5? Several issues that my friend and I found less than ideal first dropped it down to 4: its location is not that close to the town's main street (20 minute walk to theaters) and the walk home after the theater was not well lit in some places; there were too many rules and too much structure, such as the breakfast being exactly at 9am and the requirement to remove shoes at the front door even though it's hard wood floors throughout; there was a need to juggle cars because of lack of parking. What later dropped it down to 3 in our eyes was some subtle pressure experienced on the way out. Asking people to sign a guest book with the proprietors hovering is silly. But much worse was when I was asked to sign for the VISA payment and 3 tip levels were suggested. Of course I clicked on another "no tip" option. I always tip staff in restaurants and hotels quite well, but one does not tip ownership (if owners want more, then they should charge more!) While this is obvious enough in a hotel, I have stayed in B and B's about 10 times and have never experienced a tip nudge. I am sure though that lots of guests feel pressured into tipping. Not a good way to get repeat business!
- Michele (10/5): Definitely stay here! - This is a delightful place to stay. The room was beautifully appointed. The hosts are very attentive to all your needs and considerate in every way. The breakfasts are delicious with fresh sweet bread, croissants and fruit to begin, followed by a freshly made warm dish made to each individual’s tastes and dietary needs. It is meticulously clean and decorated.
