Guest Reviews
- Denis (10/5): Exceptiinall quality stay - Everything. That was an amazing stay. Should have styes longer. BEST smoked trout in LatAm! And we travelles in Peru, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador and Brazil.
The included activities they offer are must try. Good spa!
On pair with Hacienda Zuletta in Ecuador for those who know. Too short stay...
Postura deles durante o check out? Silêncio, zero comunicação sobre esse credito (mixaria). Parece proposital. Simplesmente pessima experiencia.
- Beatriz (10/5): Majestuoso!
- Claudia (10/5): Fantastic! - Beautiful, great service, perfect location
- carlos (9/5): - La atención del personal impecable, te hacen sentir en casa
- Albrecht (10/5): - rundum außergewöhnliches Hotel; wunderschön und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet; einzigartige Bungalows; sehr zuvorkommendes Personal; man sollte hier länger als 1 Nacht bleiben!
- Alejandro (10/5): - Great Location in the Sacred Valley, Cusco, Peru
- Corinne (6/5): - Loved the friendly welcome, beautiful casitas, heavenly showers, but breakfast was abysmal and service even worse—could easily be improved.
Needs a gym
The bar had no one present when I showed up at 5:30pm
Location also to far out of the way, adds many minutes travel time both ways to activities, and road should be smoothed or paved, my head hit the ceiling of our SUV on one of many bumps
- Ilan (6/5): Hospedagem ok, preço alto - Quarto espaçoso e confortável. Hotel em local bonito. TV pequena. Hotel sem nada de surpreendente. Funcionarios um pouco ríspidos. Comida do restaurante é sem graça. Não vale o preço cobrado pela hospedagem!

- Caitlin (10/5): A relaxing stay in the most gorgeous hotel with brilliant staff. - Everything was absolutely perfect. We stayed in a delux room and the setting and room were beautiful. There were so many nice touches like turn down service with hot water bottles and staff lighting the fire in our room at night. The spa was great and the treatments were life changing. I can’t fault anything about our experience and all the staff were brilliant. We will be back.
- Lorena (8/5): Very good - Property’s location Restaurant prices were very high for what they were offering. I was expecting other kind of water, not Cielo for 12 soles (that we also had in the room for free) also I payed 82 soles for my dinner and steak was quite overcooked and the potato was undercooked. I was expecting more knowing Inkaterra is one of the best hotel chains Peru has.
- Manuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carolina (9/5): Great landscape and location in the heart of Urubamba - The location, the sustainable side of it, the landscape and the small details like the chimney and the hot water bags in the bed. Great activities as well like the sunset walk! My partner was sick and we asked to kindly extend the check out which was not fully possible. We asked for another room but they were fully booked so they didn’t provide any alternative even if he had food poisoning and was not able to move. We had two complimentary cocktails which we didn’t use, so I asked if I could swap them with Coca Cola and it was not allowed. We had to pay for that extra
- Kelly (10/5): - Great views all throughout, spa was amazing, very relaxing and delicious food, staff was friendly and helpful, overall excellent customer service
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic hotel - great location & very clean & fresh villas.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): Quite possible the best hotel I e stayed in 🤩 -
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing interior, great atmosphere, stunning views. Very nice staff Nothing
- Alessandra (9/5): Superb -
- Min (5/5): Passable -
- Jaime (10/5): Exceptional -
- Risa (10/5): - This property is magnificent. We checked in very late.
We didn't have much time during the day to enjoy the property.
The rooms are beautiful.
Our meal in the restaurant was outstanding.
The staff were very attentive.
I would highly recommend staying here.
It is worth it.
- mary (8/5): - Beautiful very clean property with very kind staff. It would be nice to have tea and coffee options in the room. Other than that, this is an outstanding place to stay with gorgeous views!!!
- Mary (10/5): Relaxing Stay in Sacred Valley - We had a very relaxing stay- we had planned for one night, but extended it to two nights as we enjoyed the property so much
The rooms/cabins are very large/ Nice bathrooms and beds with patios
We ate all of our meals there and enjoyed all of them (I am vegetarian and liked all of my options/ my husband who is not vegetarian also equally enjoyed the meals)
They have a few activities each day, we enjoyed a short hike and learned about the local community, plants and birds
In the afternoon, they have a nice tea time with small snacks-
For planning- it takes 1.5 hours from the airport/ plan a ride in advance- it is about $50 for a couple from Cusco
The local area has a few popular tourist places to visit though we did not take advantage of these as we just enjoyed staying there
The Sacred Valley was an adjustment in altitude for us (we are from Nebraska) and it was nice to acclimate there, before staying in Cusco and ultimately hiking the Salkantay trail. I wish they had a small store to buy snacks/bottled drinks for your room / I recommend packing some ahead of time
- Andreas (8/5): Very good -
- Shatha (10/5): The BEST hotel experience - This is the best hotel I have ever been to. Incredible location facilities room bed and scenery, a piece of heaven and I can't wait to going again. absolutely NOTHING
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lidia (10/5): - Excellent service, beautiful view, big rooms, super nice spa all the personal were really nice. Excellent in everything
The food it’s just ok! Not wonderful but ok
- Madiha (10/5): the perfect sanctuary in the sacred valley - the location is beyond magnificent! The view from the casita was legendary and the property is very spacious, a perfect sanctuary in the middle of the sacred valley a little preference would be to have more casual food available, not just gourmet food. but there is an amazing healthy restaurant down the road, so we were covered and felt well nourished during the stay.
- Diederik (10/5): It was terrific! - Staff, food, service, rooms, spa, it was terrific! Nothing!
- Jordana (9/5): Wonderful hotel in stunning surroundings - The Hacienda Inkaterra was a highlight of our trip. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the surroundings are breathtaking. We loved our luxury casita which was spacious and very comfortable. We used the fire place every night. The main building had wonderful relax areas and a nice bar area. The welcome pisco sour is the best pisco sour we have ever had. We had another the next night and it was equally fantastic. Be mindful of altitude impacting alcohol intake. We took advantage of two of the free nature walks. We did the morning one at 10 am. It ended up being a private tour for me and my husband and the guide. It was informative and we saw lovely grounds around the hotel. We also did the star gazing tour at 530 pm and there were about 15 hotel guests that participated. Very wonderful offering.
The hotel style was chic and not opulent which we loved. It was hard to leave we loved it so much. The restaurant only has one main menu for lunch and dinner so if you are looking for multiple meals it gets tiresome. The breakfast was super but some
More overall variety or a daily special could help change it up at the other meals.
- Lilia (10/5): No amount of praise will pay it justice. Inkaterra is just fabulous! -
- Anne (10/5): Magic Spot - This is one of the most incredible parts of our Peru experience. I had no expectations going in, except to relax in nature. We were really happy with our cottage and nightly fires. The food is outstanding and served by very kind, happy staff. The highlight was birdwatching in the mornings and doing the nature walks with the guide. This hotel is located in an incredible nook inside the mountains that makes you feel wrapped in the Andes. It is truly a magical location. Additionally, our spa services were divine.
- Luk (10/5): Fantastic location - super friendly people - great rooms. A total hit! - Fantastic location - super friendly people - great rooms. A total hit!
- Piotr (10/5): Amazing - Everything was just perfect since we’ve entered the hotel. The staff, the room, the food. All the facilities were great. It’s one of the best our experience! Thank you for that!
- Jonathan (8/5): A tarnished beauty - Magnificent, well run, luxury hotel in beautiful location. Spectacular cabins. The woman in charge the spa who ruined our stay through her extreme rudeness and poor service. Simply not good enough for a hotel of this standard...
- Claudia (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptionally amazing hotel! Absolutely loved the location overlooking the beautiful mountains. The hotel is stunning decorated with amazing hand crafted local Peruvian pieces which made the hotel feel warm and inviting.
The service was excellent particularly from Edgar. Book the suite with the fire place, it’s incredible!
- Angel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (7/5): Good -
- Elysia (10/5): pure bliss - beautiful you feel in paradise truly dreamy property every little detail thought about they didn’t clean out the plunge pool and reception needs to communicate better with spa
- Lelia (9/5): Incredible place to disconnect. Amazistop over at the sacred valley - Very nice location far from the noise, perfect place to disconnect. Amazing service from the staff, great food. nothing
- Kanako (8/5): Very good -
- Terri (9/5): Superb -
- Diego (10/5): Exceptional - great facilities! extremely comfortable. top of the line
- Ali Hassan (10/5): - Outstanding by all means, the views were breathtaking and the service was unmatched. Would highly recommend
- Kerry (10/5): - Fantastic place! Heaven on earth. The location is magical. We stayed in a casita. So nice. Lots of space. Great features. Service was impeccable. The one tiny thing that was unfortunate was: We stayed during the low season (Feburary 2020). They did some painting/staining in the dining room/kitchen area one afternoon. The next morning we went for breakfast and all the food; bread, fruit, cheese, etc, tasted like the paint/stain that we smelled the day before. It was very disappointing because it was our last day and we were so excited for the breakfast. That was the only negative. Overall the food was fantastic. Wish we could go back.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - I don't think there are enough great things to say about this place that would suffice. The location has spectacular views of the Sacred Valley. The hotel is immaculately maintained with no stone left unturned. The resort lobby is beautiful decorated with cozy place to sit back and enjoy the magnificent views. The most memorable thing about this property is the staff. The are so welcoming and accommodating to ensure that your stay is a pleasant experience. I highly highly recommend this resort to anyone that is looking to stay in the Sacred Valley!
- CHERYL (10/5): - This property is lovely and the food is literally garden to table and delicious. It is a bit out of town but gorgeous
- puru lovers (10/5): Perfect. Amazing - Absolute the best. Maybe the best in all of South America.
- Piotr (10/5): - Tolles Hotel in der Näche von Urubamba auf dem Weg nach Machu Picchu. Ruhige Lage, sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer einfach hervorragend. Gutes Restaurant,
