Guest Reviews
- Joseph (8/5): - Nice, basic place. Close to town.
- Joanna (10/5): - What a lovely little oasis, so close to the busy town of Pai. Very close to the bus station. My room was really clean and I really appreciated the warm water in the shower. I would definitely recommend.
- Michael (8/5): - The manager is very friendly. It's an inexpensive, but good option in Pai.
- Khue (6/5): - I was hesitant about my stay at Breeze of Pai because of a few reviews people had about the owner, and I was a female traveling solo. However, I found him to be friendly and helpful, and kind of like a dad/uncle vibe. I'd say this definitely has the cleanliness and design of a 2-star hotel, maybe even a hostel. But I understand the type of tourists that visit Pai are OK with this. I think I just discovered I'm a bit pickier with future accommodations. There were ants in the upper corner of the shower, and the water pressure and temperature weren't great. I just found myself trying to shower as quick as possible. Two bars of soap are provided, so coming from hotels that had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was an experience. I found myself Googling how to detect bed bugs but there were any. All in all, just my paranoia and snobbery setting in. I'd say if you're good with that backpacker, bare bones lifestyle this place is perfect. I was able to park my scooter rental easily and it's walkable to the walking street and everything else. And really close to the bus stop from Chiang Mai. There's also a ton of plants which are lovely. And I didn't realize it until I was checking out, but there were free bananas for guests at the counter.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice place to stay, walk out have night market, will come back again and stay here, overall is the best
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Owners are awesome! Perfect location. Cant beat the price
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Perfect location in town. Beautiful little huts.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly staff, and very good location
:) :)
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent location, quiet, friendly staff, clean, good value
- BT (10/5): Affordable, good bargain, great location! - Affordable, good bargain, great location!
Staff was excellent, very accommodating, great budget choice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Just ok! - Staff barley spoke. Bed hard, bathroom leaked & smelled like sewer.
- NicC (8/5): nice little spot - very convenient location, short walk to the main walking street/night market. quiet room, air conditioner, private bathroom.. note, you do have to ask the front desk for new towels or if you want your room cleaned, but they are friendly and helpful.. bed was comfy enough (all of the beds I've slept on in Thailand are pretty firm).. all and all, a good spot.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice place to stay in Pai - Nice place to stay in Pai, friendly staff, great location accesible to everything. Rooms were clean. The only thing is that the rooms don’t have heat so during winter he’s really cold at night. Not sure if it’s only with this hotel or all hotels are like that, but just bring warm clothes to sleep at night
- Ugur (8/5): - Good place to chill but not to meet people.
- IR (6/5): Expensive for the room we got - The location is good and the staff were very friendly. The room however wasn't great, the matressess were old and uncomfortable and the there were stains on the sheets. The bathroom was musty and the all room smelled damp. We wouldn't stay here again despite the friendliness of the staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Our hosts were extremely helpful and friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Loved it - Perfect little rustic bungalow. We left a horrible place we already paid for to come here in hopes of a clean simple space to sleep... and we found it. Felt like our own little apartment and great location to walking street and live music venue. Loves it
- Rachelle (8/5): Perfect stay - So great'! Total experience and perfect location. We left another place because it was terrible to come here and I would again in a heart beat!
- Brooke (8/5): Great for a budget - Basic but cheap, the staff are lovely and you get free water and bananas. The location is great, just off the Main Street so close but little foot traffic coming past. Air con was great. Roof leaked a little and lots of ants but we extended out stay so that speaks volumes. If you're a backpacker you'll love it, if you want a hotel you wont.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location, good stay. - Enjoyed my stay. Definitely over priced on expedia versus what I could have gotten had I booked directly through the site.
- Maureen (2/5): Very Basic, Good Price, some Charm, but Worn - The ambience was great, the room not so much. This was the cheapest place I stayed in Thailand and for the price, it was fine. However, the room seemed worn, not terribly clean (dirty rugs, pictures in plastic with splotches & fingerprints, not painted in ages). It was a backpacker hotel and I am not. Staff was welcoming and friendly. It would be great however, if they made a better effort to have the basics of cleanliness a bit upgraded.
