• Snigdha (8/5): Overall, very good stay - Overall ambience of the hotel is very good. Location is perfect and staffs are super helpful! The rooms are clean and have a balcony too. Breakfast needs to be improved. At least they can add some cereals, milk/yougurt and/or add famous local dishes including Bubur Ayam which is always there in most hotels in Bali.

• TREVOR (8/5): All in all great value little hotel in perfect location. - Loved the Balinese character of the hotel. Nice quiet location and only a short walk to many restaurants and shops. Loved the restaurant where the food was great with nightly entertainment by an exceptional singer who could sing anything you threw at him. Choice of two pools was lovely. The breakfast was particularly disappointing with a strange assortment of foods with only two hot dishes every day eg banana fritter and wedges. There were always eggs 5 ways and a few salad items and bread. But given the price of the rooms it wasn’t bad and there was always something to put in your tummy and good value. Also didn’t like the smelly resident dog who had a free rein to wander around the restaurants and bark at random to make people jump. Also noted on one occasion a ginger cat on the roof hopping through the kitchen window who was only shooed away some 5 minutes later.

• Joy (8/5): A Hidden Gem - Fabulous hotel and facilities, large room (Deluxe twin) BEST shower I have EVER had in Bali and room rate includes simple Breakfast. Brilliant little restaurant onsite with no ++ taxes - good menu, extremely well priced (approx $6 Aus for a Chicken and Cashew with rice) and good choice of beverages. Lovely spa onsite. Ten minute walk to the beach and the "shuttle bus" picks you up from out the front and can drop you off anywhere along its route up to Icon Shopping Mall. Pack your own Hair-dryer, face washer and soap 🥰
• Sarah (8/5): A lovely garden hotel in a convenient location - The grounds are lovely with beautiful gardens and traditional Balinese art. The rooms are comfortable with balconies or patios. Breakfast is simple: eggs, fruit, and bread but fresh. Overall a great and affordable hotel with very kind staff in a safe location. Water pressure
• Lara (8/5): - I loved the traditional Balinese architecture! The staff were exceptional at this family run business. Comfortable, clean rooms. Onsite Spa offering great value treatments. Located in a quieter part of Sanur. Short walk to the beach with a mulitude of eateries to cater to your taste. Nothing. Highly recommend and great value. Support local.
• Eric (9/5): Prima hotel in klassieke stijl en goede verzorging. - De ligging en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel waren top, het eten uit het eigen restaurant was ook prima. Kamers groot genoeg en voorzien van een balkon. Op 5 minuten lopen van Sanur Beach en voldoende winkels, restaurants en bars op loopafstand, helemaal prima. Er was geen lift in het hotel, met zware koffers is dat nadelig, ook was de TV niet aangesloten op het Internet, hierdoor kon je geen gebruik maken van diensten zoals YouTube, Netflix en dergelijke.

• Barns (6/5): Not too bad - Some of the local restaurants and the swimming pool was beautiful. The restaurant was great, but staff communication was not good. The staff were not very helpful. I asked for a room downstairs and was not given one. I am a solo traveler in my early 60's and have arthritis and found it difficult to walk the steps. The staff wouldn't give me a room downstairs. There are a lot of stairs in the place.

• Maksymilian Zcz (8/5): - Świetna lokalizacja, przemiły personel. Hotel przytulny, tonie w zieleni. Bardzo miłe pokoje. Nie to że zaraz nie podobało ale czystość ocenia poqiedzmy na 7 na 10. Brakowało czajnika w pokoju, nie wiem dlaczwgo ale brak totalnie małych łyżeczek lub szpatółek do mieszania kawy efekt - mieszałem widelcem. Śniadania smaczne ale dosyć skromne i mało urozmaicone.

• Radin (4/5): Probably won’t come back to this hotel again. - Not much as this was our return trip. Breakfast is not Halal! So was the food in this restaurant.All the lights in the room are fluorescent lights and that makes the room dark . The tap water sometimes was difficult to turn on n off but we managed it sometimes. The staffs when asked for extra towel was never fulfilled forever hahahhaa and same when we asked help with our luggage’s. Btw there’s no lift in this hotel .

Check at lunchtime it was hot when sunny, but luke warm every other time. Staff tried to assist but water not great when so far from system. I stayed 3 years ago and felt it had declined

• Robin (7/5): - The location is great -- immediate access to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The staff are fantastic -- kind, clear, flexible. I liked that it had a spa, though we didn't get to use it because it was fully booked. The restaurant connected to the restaurant was really great -- wide menu, fantastic staff, and a fabulous live singer (which I normally don't like) that got us all singing along. The breakfast was pretty basic, and the coffee was awful....but it did have a good egg station.

• Tenille (7/5): very relaxing and comfortable stay - Loved how small the hotel was, the traditional gardens and feel. i liked the location hot water wasn't consistently working bathroom was a bit smelly from the sewerage sometimes

Clean and neat without frills. The room overlooked the pool area, which was a lovely space. The breakfast was basic but plentiful. Staff were all lovely and helpful. The in-hotel spa was amazing - do not miss it.

Sheets and bath towels could do with an upgrade they appeared very well worn and consideration for tea/coffee facilities in the Standard Room.
• Monica (9/5): My favourite place to stay in Sanur - The overall 'Baliness' of it. Beautifully decorated throughout. 2 great pools. We had a top floor room and while it was sometimes a struggle to climb all the stairs, the room and the large balcony made it all worthwhile. Great view and wonderful breeze. Our room was so large and roomy. A joy to be in. The location could not be better! Too many up and down steps to get to breakfast. Breakfast itself is pretty poor but enough to start the day. The coffee/tea station is still in a corner and hard to get to when people are loading up the toaster at the same time. We had no hot water for most of our stay. They rely on a solar hot water system and while this is commendable, they should consider installing instantaneous hot water systems in the rooms so far from solar system that we have to have cold showers.

Great food, no ++ Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. 10 o'clock on the dot, sometimes before, all breakfast was removed and staff cleaning your table while we were still eating. But that is our only beef.

• Annie (9/5): Lovely mid size hotel with atmosphere . - Lovely old style and mid size Balinese hotel, just a block from the beach, that provides a haven of peace from the chaos outside, thanks to its well maintained garden and beautiful pool. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I have stayed there many times over the years and will continue to do so. The bathroom needs some maintenance.

• Sorell (8/5): Comfortable, clean and good location - Hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was always clean, and we could call reception if we needed anything. The breakfast was good; you can order eggs cooked to your liking. I would recommend hiring a bike next door, it's then only a 5-minute bike ride to the beach. My main complaint is the number of stairs- good for fitness. I had a toddler and was on the third floor, 40 stairs to carry her up, which was tough at times

I was not happy that I was charged more than booking.com advertised, this happened on two occasions previously, I have photos of what was advertised which is different to what I paid. • Glenn (8/5): Traditional Balinese Hotel with exceptional value - Location. Older traditional Bali style and atmosphere. The restaurant had great food and great value. One of the original Hotels before Bali was discovered. Most guests are older returning guests. No young families with noisy kids or young party goers. We requested a king bed which was subject to availability. On arrival we were informed this is a twin room but they could push the beds together if we want? It was late at night and we felt it was an inconvenience to ask them to do this. We already requested a king bed in advance they could have done this for us prior to our arrival.

• Doris (7/5): - Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück, hübscher Hotelgarten. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer, eines der beiden war wohl früher ein Raucherzimmer - der Geruch hat sich über die Zeit gehalten. Als Nichtraucher nicht so angenehm.

• Dunn (8/5): I’d definitely stay here again, a great base to explore Sanur or as a short stopover on the way to or from the airport - Great location, quiet but spas, shops, restaurants nearby and only a 5 minute walk to the beach Shower pressure not good and it barely worked half the time. Didn’t cater for gluten free, not much choice at breakfast and staff lady I asked about this was quite abrupt and rude.

• Claudia (7/5): Good facilities with tired rooms. - Swimming pool area was lovely. Spa was great and good value. The room was spacious and with place to hang wet clothes. Air conditioning very powerful. Location is great, a 3 block walk to the beach and the same to lively restaurants and bars but it is a relatively quiet area which suited us perfectly. Hotel restaurant lunch and beverages (specially natural juices) service for the pool area were very good. The room decor is tired, some items in the toilet like towel hangers were broken/ falling and towels very worn. The room cleaning was not great, we had to point out 2 alarming findings on the second day of our stay and only then they cleaned properly. Breakfast is not great if you are used to continental/ american breakfast. Value is good at internacional level but we went to stay in better places in Bali for the same money.

• Noel (4/5): - La situation de l’hôtel et la piscine. L’une des deux était fermée durant notre séjour . J’avais formulé plusieurs demandes spécifiques en ligne, un mois avant mon arrivée, puis de nouveau une semaine avant et même la veille. Malheureusement, l’hôtel n’a jamais répondu et aucune de ces demandes n’a été prise en compte. Je voyageais avec des enfants et avais demandé des chambres côte à côte ainsi qu’une chambre proche de la réception, car ma fille se déplace avec des béquilles. À l’arrivée, rien n’avait été respecté : nous avons été installés au premier étage, séparés par deux couloirs, et la chambre de ma fille était très éloignée de l’entrée. Lors du check-in, le personnel s’est contenté de me dire « désolé, c’est comme ça », sans chercher de solution. L’hygiène laissait également à désirer. C’est l’hôtel le plus décevant de mon séjour à Bali : nous avons vu des cafards et ma chambre n’était pas net non plus ,lorsque j’ai demandé des serviettes de bain on m’a répondu qu’il n’y en avait plus et qu’il fallait attendre. L’une des piscines n’était pas accessible aussi . Lors du déjeuner à l’heure où le buffet ferme la personne qui nettoie nous a carrément dit finis je débarrasse… première fois que ça nous arrives . Le buffet peut être fermé mais en générale on laisse les gens à l’heure table quelques minutes de plus pour terminer là pas … Dans l’ensemble, expérience très décevante.
• Ida (8/5): - Bra läge i den södra delen av Sanur. Stort utbud av restauranger och barer i närheten. 5 minuters promenad till stranden och den mysiga strandpromenaden. Fint prunkande poolområde på hotellet. Frukosten hade ett ok utbud. Jag saknade dock att det inte fanns en hårtork på rummet.
