The location is great, sitting near a shopping center complex with many restaurants in walking distance. I didn't notice any road noise while in my room. Breakfast was convenient and a good way to start the day.

Gambill (3/5): Will NOT stay here again and very disappointed. - The bed was a bit more comfortable. Our room, room 217, was filthy dirty. We found an orange near the end of the bed, empty Celsius cans, toy cars left from a previous tenant, our sheets were very obviously never changed and we're dirty. The bathroom had mold in the corners and the island aire has so much mold and visibile that it was disgusting! We breathed that mold.all night long. There was some substance smeared on the wall of the bathroom. The check-in person spoke such little English that it was difficult to have her help us. We were very polite through it all. We won't be staying here again and I don't recommend this site.

Freddie (10/5): Awesome service. We will be back! - The staff was very helpful. Especially the young lady that was the desk clerk. I had called that first morning asking if we could check in early. She told me that she would get with house keeping and make that happen for us. She then called me back later to tell me our rooms were ready. She went above and beyond to take care of us. Awesome service. E everything was great.

The price was better than lower quality hotels at which I have had nightmarish stays for a higher price. I am finding Holiday Inn Expresses at virtually every out of the way place I visit, and I am having a consistently good experience at Holiday Inn Express. They certainly are doing something right in their staffing. I am becoming a big fan of Holiday Inn Express.

Disappointed that through 3 days of stay, my bed was not made a single time. So I think room service is poor. Otherwise a decent hotel.

The door to the bathroom was too heavy and didn't slide properly. It made going to the bathroom and showering uncomfortable. The hotel was not full. This was unnecessary to put us in this room. We won't stay here again. We will be visiting this area often because our son is attending college here.

brinkp2025 (10/5): Turned My Frown Upside Down - We checked in here for the second night of a two night trip. The first night we spent at a hotel that looked great online but the reality was just downright dirty. I was happy to find a room with a King sized bed for a reasonable price on such short notice. The front desk staff was super enthusiastic and personable. The lobby was very comfortable looking and the room was HUGE and CLEAN! Fully separate bathroom, no sink in the hallway business, and stocked with Dove products. A cute foyer with the fridge, microwave, and a Keurig complete with complimentary K-cups. In addition to the bed there was a really cool couch/chaise lounge thing for seating. The area was very nice and safe feeling. While we didn't utilize them the pool area and gym looked nice, and the bathroom off the lobby was well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was HUGE, so many options. This hotel really turned our trip around and was a great place to rest after a long day of trekking around the Toledo zoo. If we ever go back to the area this would be my first choice to stay.

Brink (10/5): Holiday Inn to the rescue! - This was a last minute booking. We had a reservation at a different hotel for two nights, but after seeing the condition of that place we had to find something else. The type of room we wanted was available and from the moment we walked in everything was great. The staff was friendly and personable, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I was super excited to find Dove products in the bathroom, just like home! The breakfast selection was huge and the lobby had ample seating and an all around nice vibe. Our stay totally turned our trip around.

Footprints in the bathroom floor, dirt was heavy on the floor boards, room was not vacuumed, switched rooms to 322, room had mold on wall and something on ceiling walls, mirrors weren’t cleaned, food on light switch, switched rooms again 422, really wasn’t too much difference. Finally gave up after 10 hour drive. One breakfast lady working was very nice, however you could hear them complaining about manager or corporate not wanting to fix things, then staff, including the 70 year old maintenance guy were all eating breakfast and getting in line while breakfast was going on. Staff wearing crocs and moon boots while working. Pros: room was spacious with lots of storage area, large bathroom Cons: dirty rooms, hallways throughout were dirty, dead bugs near the pool entrance like walking through a land mine, not much selection at breakfast, fire alarm went off at 1:15 AM (another guest said it was the second night), bathroom for pool was outside the locked entrance, no eating or drinking in pool, pool NOT heated, beds not comfortable, vents in room (bathroom) including air units were full of dust buildup. Only put 3 towels in room, when it’s booked for 4 and we have 4 guests. I never understand this. In my opinion, overall dirty hotel. They need to take some time for deep cleaning and general maintenance in rooms on a regular basis. Would not stay again.
