• FEDERICO (4/5): - Rooms #1 is in urgent need of refurbishment. Missing window, curtains, fireplace doesn’t work, electric shower heater on the MB doesn’t work, curtains missing, WiFi not working. The location is great, the view, the restaurant. It’s minor things that should easily be fixed.

• Lauren (10/5): We love Cedrela and Al Mercat! - Cedrela is nestled in the mountains of Costa Rica. It was easy to navigate there. The accommodations are clean, but the standout of Cedrela is the restaurant, Al Mercat. We had a fantastic meal and ate nearly everything on the menu (advice - go with at least 5 people so you can effectively share!).

• Daisy (10/5): Stunning place, food and service! - Well, where do I start!I have had the best time! The place is so peaceful and beautiful, the perfect place to rest and recharge with nature. The service was really approachable and professional. The staff is proud of where they work and to deliver some of amazing food. I stayed for 5 days and tasted nearly every dishes on the menu. All dishes are created and composed with care looking at flavours, texture and originality! I loved it and was looking forward to seating down in the restaurant looking at the beautiful view. The room is comfortable with great bed and a very large window which connect you directly to the nature. Thank you to all the team, front of house and chefs. I had an amazing experience. • Ivannia (6/5): - Hace dos años viste el hotel y me encanto la estadía, en esta ocasión no fue tan agradables, el precio pactado en la aplicación fue de $84, con impuestos, al pagar me indicaron que los impuestos no estaban contemplados pague $94.92, el menú es de pocas opciones, pero si bastante delicioso, y no están los detalles anteriores como el pan o el chocolatito artesanal de cortesía. Las cabañas son hermosas, limpias y confortables. El staff no fue tan amable en esta ocasión, ni siquiera nos preguntaron al salir como estuvo la estadía o nos invitaron a regresar.

• Ann (8/5): - Beautiful area. Cabins nuce. Chef is incredible! Dinner was amazing. Ficus hike moderate, lots of ups and downs, like most of costa rica. Coffee and avocado farm interesting. Arranged a successful Quetzales tour. Other lodges in the area have bird feeders with fruit and Hummingbird nectar. Cedrela does not. Hot water in shower was hit and miss.

• Eitan (10/5): - The food at Cedrela Ecolodge was fantastic! It is gourmet and all locally sourced and sustainable. The chef deserves to win some major awards. It is the best food we have ever had in Costa Rica and some of the best food we have had worldwide. The cabins are nice and comfortable and have lovely views. The trail on the property goes through beautiful forest and we saw Quetzals along the trail. Highly recommended staying at this establishment.

Le personnel était très agréable et aidant pour nous aider à organiser les activités (et pour gérer une maxi araignée dans la chambre!). Restaurant très bon utilisant que des produits bio et locaux piur une cuisine costaricienne différente. La chambre était propre, très simple et salle de bain en pas très bon état (pourrait être mieux pour les installations sanitaires).

The menu of the restaurant is quite limited but everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent, very kind people work there. The views were very nice. Definitely worth the stay!!!

The property was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant food was AMAZING! This was the best food I had during my stay in Costa Rica. Fresh, locally sourced, and healthy. It is important to me to know where my food comes from, and how it is prepared. The food at the lodge was spectacular. I will stay here again!

• Brian (10/5): - With a motor cycle death at Cartago on the road to Cedrela, traffic ground to a halt. 4 hrs to drive 2km. Arrived very very late at Ecolodge, and were greeted by Marta like family, who took care of ordering in meals etc even at that late hour. Next morning yielded a beautiful panoramic view of the valley below from our breakfast room. Can't say enough about how they made us feel at home.

• Rafael (10/5): TRANQUILIDAD EN OA NATURALEZA - El hotel está en plena naturaleza en en entorno de montaña muy cerca de dos parques naturales. Tiene varias casitas de madera muy bien acondicionadas con baño y ducha privados. Son amplias y cómodas. Tiene un comedor y un salon como areas compartidas. El desayuno y la cena son abundantes y de calidad con muchos ingredientes organicos de su propia huerta. Wifi en las zonas comunes pero no en las cabañas. El hotel ofrece varios tours de pago pero tambien tiene un sendero gratuito por un bosque muy bonito y muy bien conservado.
