• Briggsy805 (10/5): Great value for money - This hotel only has a few rooms, not sure exactly. It is a Thai terraced building. There are at least 5 floors. The wi-fi is included in the price and is very good. The value for money is excellent. The owner is very helpful and informative. After 6 pm, the front door is locked and entry is through the back by use of a card. Frankly I probably should have stayed there longer. There is a lot in the room. Even though I had the smallest, cheapest room, there were cooking facilities with a microwave. The owner can help you with tourist requests such as hiring a motorbike.

• James (8/5): - Close but not to close... a convenient 7-11 is located in every corner. Thai street vendors with pastries, fruits and meats. Taxi (motorbike) are ready to take you down to the beach or walking street (5-10min ride 70baht). At night the area is quiet and peaceful.
• Steven (8/5): - Really nice couple who own and run the place. I think it’s ideal for long term stay. Location is close to the action but nice and quiet. If you are a first time traveller I recommend other areas. But for a seasoned visitor you can’t beat the price and location is good if you like to walk or rent a scooter. Be aware of their hours. Not always open but very helpful and communicative. Highly recommended!!! But

• Justin (8/5): - M Place is a good place to stay in Pattaya if you are looking for a place away from Beach Rd. As an older building it is without a lift so if you’re a traveller with a heavy bag and you are given a room on the 5th floor be ready to haul your bag up narrow stairs. Wifi was excellent and I found the room clean and comfortable but a little tired. My only negatives is that the shower in my room - although having a heater - was cold and the pressure unsatisfying. Couldn’t wait to get to my next hotel for a decent, refreshing hot shower. Also, in reference to the building getting a little tired - the shower curtain in my room definitely needed replacing being black and mouldy at it’s base - details like this either have people coming back or not. Overall I enjoyed my stay but the lack of a decent shower just had me move on. The older couple that are custodians of the property are lovely people and you’re just a 15min walk to the beach. Recommend but be aware it has its shortcomings.

The room is always super clean and has everything I need to enjoy my time in Pattaya. The room is quite large and there is a large TV, dishes and plates, a table and comfortable chairs to eat and relax, a large bed, closet space with hangers, and a hot shower. I really enjoy the quite and private back entrance because it really feels like you have your own apartment rental. I am staying here again because the room is great, staff is great, and location is peaceful and safe and it is off the crazy tourist part of Pattaya. There are lots of street food vendors, bars, restaurants and 7-11. Also there are many places to visit around. I really enjoy staying here! Thank you!!!!!!:)))

It is a little away from all the craziness of Pattaya City. It is more local style and the staff is very friendly. The back street entrance makes it feel more like an apartment room. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The TV is very big and has lots of channels. There are dishes, utensils and bowls to use as well as a microwave. Great for buying food and bringing it back to the room to eat. Everything is great! Thank you!

• toroshans (8/5): Calm hotel out of the noise, good to sleep. - I stayed in M Place in March 19 period as 5 nites. Owner is very helpfull to its guests. Gives all tarif around Pattaya. Hotel location is very conveniet and east to go back to pattaya beach area.Rooms are large and confortable as payment level and its rate. Bathrooms are clean and normal standards. Regularly per day rooms beds, sheets are changing, cleaning everyday. The biggest shopping Mall (BIG C) just 150meter walking distance away. excellent staff. Highly Recommended to stay. Not disappointed.

• JAMES (10/5): Fantastic - I will stay again - highly recommended - Fantastic - most comfortable bed I have slept in Thailand. The room is spotlessly clean, modern, excellent WiFi , Sat TV . Arrived 9am was shown and given room straight away. Friendly staff ,helpful and speak English. I will stay there again as I know of nowhere better. Only problem which did not effect us was no lift. Has fridge , microwave and kettle. 7- 11 end of road ,plenty of eateries and Big C less than 10 minute walk , Pattaya Klang so easy access to Baht Bus. Plenty of motorbike taxi just up the end of Soi.

There is a lot of little restaurants, bars and 7/11 not far from the hotel, also a bigc. I highly recommend it.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel, a bit off the beaten path - Room was cozy and had everything you need. Sink and dishes in room. Only downside it there was no lift and being on the 5th floor with luggage was a pain. It was difficut for tours to pick you up because It’s located down a small alley and the lobby closes at 7 and doesn’t reopen by the times the tours come to pick you up. After the lobby closes you have to use the back entrance so it gets confusing for rides. Great rooms though.

• hotelreview123 (8/5): VERY CLEAN MODERN HOTEL/SERVICED APARTMENTS - Very helpful, efficeint checkin staff, great room, good ac, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, satelitte TV, good free wifi, centrally located in central Pattaya - 5 mins walk from the main BIG C and shopping centre, surrounded by food stalls, 7/11, shops etc etc Guy at Reception speaks fluent English and said you are allowed to use the SWIMMING POOL OF THE NEIGHBOURING CONDOMINIUMS FOR APPROX 3 EURO A DAY - SO WORTH THINKING ABOUT IF YOU WANT CLEAN SAFE FRIENDLY AND WELL PRICED, BUT ABOUT 20 MINUTES WALK BACK FROM THE BEACH. VERY GOOD PLACE FOR AN OVERNIGHT STOP. RECEPTION CLOSES AT 8PM- BUT KEYCARD ACCESS for guests is 24 Hours just no new arrivals after 8PM.

I would recommend this hotel for your stay because it offers clean tidy rooms managed by friendly staff. It is close to many restaurants, several money exchange locations, Big C Extra is within walking distance. Easy access to the Hotel off main drag except for late afternoon when traffic starts to build up, but you get that pretty much anywhere in Pattaya.

They were able to rent me a motorbike which was very reasonable in price and most useful for getting around. • SagaContinues (10/5): A safe clean oasis in Pattaya - You can expect a no non-sense service from the staff at this place. Everything you need will be there or can be arranged. A clean and safe place to be at an extremely reasonable rate in the heart of Pattaya. I would definitely be back there again!
• DaveH54 (10/5): Very cheap accommodation out of sleeze area - MPlace is very cheap, and you pay for electricity and water you use. A bike cab costs 40 Baht to go to the main bar areas near the beach area. There are half a dozen bars around MPlace plus a 711 50 metres away. The main thing is rooms are clean, serviced every three days, have aircon, fan, fridge, microwave in room and is away from the noise of downtown. Weekly charge is around nightly charge of main hotels, small apartment block of around 12 units or so. Lots of eateries around that cost about 100-150 Baht for a meal, close to the Big C department store/shopping Centre to buy stuff. Not a place for wild partiers or those who want extra services in 5 star hotels, but one for those who want a friendly safe place to stay. I stayed 10 days and am going back next year.
• jollygal (8/5): Pattaya - My review is based on 2 nights stay in September 2015. What I like? - Big hard bed , which suits me - Big room (A size room) , well equipped with kettle, safe , big fridge, microwave,working table - Clean - very clean (I don't normally expect much with hotel like this, but I am really pleased that the blankets smell fresh and clean :)) ) - Near to a lot of local food hawker stores. And a big market (Big C) is just 8 minutes walk away . - The hotel provides simple breakfast , toast with jam and coffee/tea. - The owner is fluent with english, but the staff doesn't seems to speak much english. They are generally helpful and attentive. - Wifi is free and good. The wifi slowed down a bit on one of the days, and the owner went to check immediately after I have informed him. What I didn't like? - Noise. There is a school next to M Place. Unfortunately, there was event on one of the morning that I was there and the noise was a bit unbearable. Is not my first trip to Pattaya,but my first time staying in hostel like hotel. For the price that I am paying, is reasonable. What I like the most is clean, feels safe and decent. Although is in "central pattaya" - I am feeling a bit out of city - surrounded by school, local shops, etc. I recommend it to those who wish to stay longer in Pattaya just to experience Pattaya life and or like to be a bit further away from the crowd.
