sharon (10/5): - We havecstayed at Commodore a few times its a great location, very clean, spacious, great shower and water pressure. Older style which means it has more in it and feels very relaxing.

Got there at 12.30 in the day ... every other unit there was full of sunshine except where mine was ... no sun at all.. and very cold for that time of day .. had to have heater on for rhe whole stay ..... the motels weren't full so they could have upgraded as most usually do ...the only comfortable chair to sit on was broken ... .. was tempted to ask for a different room which I have never felt like or done before

Garry (7/5): Comfortable, but dated. - Spacious room. Handy to main part of town. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was adequate for most needs. Fittings are dated. Because of proximity to train line and single glazed windows expect to be woken up once or twice during the night. Feel the place is a little overpriced compared to others we stayed in.

Judith (8/5): Lovely little place and they allow dogs. - Lovely friendly staff, spacious studio with comfortable bed and separate areas to eat and sit. Easy space to heat in the cooler months with the little heater. Television easy to use and has ability to have live TV or streaming. Amenities given for shower and daily housekeeping. Bonus dog friendly! Sliding door to shut off to the kitchen kept falling off the runner, low shower pressure, located just off the road and a train track so could be quite noisy. Lights didn't turn off outside so room was bright all night despite curtains.

Carol T (5/5): Rustic but clean, good for a stopover on your journey. - Good location. Good to be able to have car right outside. Handy kitchen for if you wanted to have meals there. The room reeked of a heavily scented floral smell, like a car air freshener. I thought the room may have just been sprayed but the smell never dissipated. I hunted the whole room for the source but could not find it. The next day it was just as bad.
