It’s a perfect spot for a long weekend - peaceful, charming, and just the right distance from downtown. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast delivered to your door each morning is a great touch. The property is beautiful, with lovely spots to relax and eat outside, especially by the saltpond. Highly recommend!

On the wish list: We would have liked breakfast a little earlier than 8:30 since we got up to see the sunset at 5:30 a.m. which is spectacular from the back of the property. It would be nice, at least, to have a coffee maker in the rooms or a coffee station somewhere, also serving fresh water. Another lamp in the room would be nice for reading on the other side of the bed. The location is nice, albeit up a small hill from the town. Next time, I'd request a room (cottage) along the back side of the property because the Moped traffic noise is awful at certain times of the day.

There is an excellent breeze through the windows which kept the rooms nice and cool. Beautiful view of the ocean. Breakfast is brought to your room every morning. We can't wait to return!

- Louis (10/5): - This is a little gem of a place. About a five minute walk from the ferry. If you like the country cottage feel this is for you. No televisions or phones in the room. The location is great with an ocean view right on property. Robyn the assistant manager was awesome. She knew the island sites and her recommendations were very good. She made our stay warm and welcomed. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Freshly made and brought right to our room each morning. The room was very clean and well maintained. The only thing we could give as a “con” is the walls are a little thin and you may hear the neighbors. Other than that it was wonderful stay. Definitely a place we would highly recommend.

- Lyndsay (10/5): Charming, lovely, comfortable - Truly lovely from start to finish. The property is made up of several small cottages, with a remarkable view of the ocean from the backside of the property. The location is great for the non-partying crowd. A 10 minute walk to downtown, very manageable. The host, Robin, could truly not have been kinder or more hospitable. She was incredibly friendly and available at a moment’s notice to drop off ice or give us a recommendation on where to visit. The room (we had room 6) was charming. The bed was very comfortable and temperature was just right all weekend. The bathroom was nicely appointed with hotel-like shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the shower. Comfy robes are provided too. Breakfast is delivered around 8:30am and was delicious each day. They take such care in packing the picnic basket, all of the little touches are lovely. The one thing that would have made the place perfect is access to onsite coffee in the morning. We are early risers and are used to coffee when we first awake. The coffee shops in town are very walkable but don’t open until 7am (although maybe they open earlier in peak season). Caffeine habits aside we could not have enjoyed our stay more! Thank you Robin and staff!

The bed was a really short in length for my 6 foot husband. It made sleeping a little uncomfortable, but there were so many positive things it wasn't something that bothered us enough not to return in the future.

This was our first time on Block Island and this team made it awesome. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. TRUTH IN ADVERTISING: They self describe as an awesome place to get away from the world no great big TV. No giant air conditioning that chills room to 0°. They are not lying, this is a windows open sea breeze coming in, porch sitting, shoes off kind of place. Everyone clearly takes pride in their job around the property whether it be the owner, manger, reception, home-keeping or grounds. Looking forward to our next stay at the Sea Breeze.

I was able to text him when I needed something and the service was above expectations. The room was clean and there was clear directions for anything I wanted to do. I was able to rent a bike right from my room as well, which was super convenient. I also liked that I was close to some attractions such as the animal farm and a beautiful hotel where I met a friend for drinks. It was literally right next door,.

- Mary Ellen (10/5): A peaceful oasis - We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Sea Breeze. In early May not all BI establishments are open, but that was fine with us. We come for the natural beauty of the island and honestly don't enjoy the summer mayhem. The Sea Breeze takes us back to the days on the island when there were far fewer cars, mopeds and tourists--especially ones that don't respect the island. The room was very clean and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and the ocean views are breathtaking. Breakfast delivered to the doorstep was divine. The manager, Corey, was a lovely guy who knows the island very well. Being able to rent a bike right there on the property was great. If you're a super early riser and must have that cup of coffee right away, know that breakfast doesn't arrive until about 8:30 AM. Just take a quick walk into town and get coffee at one of the numerous places that open early. If you are a fussy, high maintenance type who expects large-hotel type amenities, this is not the place for you. It's perfect for folks who appreciate the simple pleasures of a classic cottage in a naturally beautiful setting. Turn off the devices and listen to the birds!

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town, the grounds of this property are absolutely beautiful! Grab a seat in an Adirondack chair overlooking the pond and the ocean or sit on the deck outside of your room and have the delicious (included breakfast) delivered to your door each morning in a picnic basket. Because there is no A/C, a ceiling fan or pedestal fan in the room would have been nice. This is the only reason I give the Sea Breeze Inn 4 stars instead of five. Regardless, we would LOVE to visit this property again. It's beauty and charm, not to mention the owner (Andrea), make you feel right at home on Block Island.

And our bedding was damp. The breakfast was exceptional. Nice products for the shower included. All of the wrongs were made right.

- Joseph (10/5): Best inn on the island - The sea breeze is everything you want in a seaside inn. It's a short walk from the ferry and old harbor, a beautiful location right on the water. Every morning a warm breakfast is brought to your room in a picnic basket, along with coffee or tea as you like. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean, the decor fitting for a beach cottage. There is no wifi or TVs, but that's not why you came to block island is it?
- Cindy (10/5): - Loved the location. A short distance from our room was a spectacular view of the ocean and 2 fresh water ponds. Property is secluded by a large hedge, so private and comfortable. The breakfasts, served in a picnic basket each morning were delicious and more than ample servings, all hand prepared! Staff are so helpful with lots of tip as to how to enjoy and see the island. Lighting in this particular room was not suitable for readin, staff immediately found us additional lighting. Older facility but very clean and well maintained. Hope to visit here again!

The room had a number of small easy to fix problems: -- Dim lighting in bedroom and bathroom -- Two hard wood chairs -- no soft reading chair -- No reading light -- Shower curtain is broken and kept falling down -- Table is too small for two people to eat on -- Artwork on walls is unattractive and boring
- Mo (10/5): - it was absolutely beautiful, the view from the room. very clean, bathrooms pristine, the breakfast brought to the door were our absolute favorite, staff was so friendly along with any neighboring guests. i will return! this place made me feel like my first vacation planned by myself without parents was a major success! i couldn’t be more happy with Sea Breeze!
