• Jay (10/5): - This place is an absolute gem. Excellent location, great rooms (with ac!) good shared bathroom, and staff are really nice and accommodating. Fairly inexpensive too! My partner and I were backpacking across Spain and this was our favorite place that we stayed in. 100% will go back

Fortunately, noise and light don’t bother me therefore I was able to sleep. We like the location of the place in terms of closeness to dining places, metro, super market, pharmacy, etc.
• Heath (10/5): - The room was great: spacious, clean, and charming. Didn’t need to interact with staff much but the gentleman who helped us, Angel, was so very helpful. The place was great: everything and anything you need is within walking distance; nice, clean room; strong air conditioner — would definitely stay there again.

• Jonas (10/5): Enkelt, fräscht, smidigt, något lyhört - En enkel typ av boende, precis som kan förväntas av beskrivningen "hostal". Det är ett gammalt lägenhetshus där varje plan byggts om till att hysa flera rum. Vårt plan hade ett delat badrum/dusch och strax utanför ytterliggare en toalett bakom en tunn dragspelsdörr. Något otippat fungerade detta alldeles utmärkt under de fem dagar vi bodde där - bara en morgon behövde jag vänta på att kunna duscha. Värden tog emot oss, berättade att nyckeln gick till alla dörrar (ytterdörr, våningsdörr och rumsdörr) och så var det allt. Föredömligt smidigt! Städningen var också utmärkt, lika fräscht som man kan förvänta sig av ett hotell med fler stjärnor. Inget att anmärka på där. Det enda negativa var nog att på grund av husets natur så är det också *väldigt* lyhört. Jag och min dotter är duktiga på att sova, så det störde inte oss något, men den som är känslig bör kanske fundera på ett annat boende.

The place is really clean, but I would suggest they use a disinfectant that does not have a strong scent because the room smelled more like a hospital. Other than that, our overall experience is really good.

In the first hostel I stayed on near a street running parallel, for less money, I got breakfast, had my own bathroom and toilet and comfortable furniture Reception at Dragonfly is only open for a few hours a day, quite a walk to get to tourist sites, and rooms are poorly furnished. It was ok, very clean but the shower for example is so small that you either have a shower curtain stuck to your back or your belly pushing the tap closed. Soap in the shower was very cheap and not pleasant smelling. All up I wouldn't go back there when so many better options are available. Owner/manager is very pleasant and helpful.

Tout est très propre, ménage fait tous les jours. Hôte vraiment très accueillant et disponible tout au long du séjour. Nous avions une petite crainte concernant les douches partagées, mais à l'image du reste de l'hôtel, une propreté irréprochable. Situation parfaite pour visiter Barcelone à pied, que ce soit aller en ville ou à la plage rapidement. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter à l'hôtel dragonfly, et le recommandons à tous !

• Nathan (10/5): Perfect budget hotel in a great neighbourhood - This is a fantastic budget hotel in the perfect location! Firm and comfortable bed, a private shower in the room (which we weren't expecting), powerful A/C, and friendly service. It is in walking distance to almost everything, surrounded by great coffee shops and restaurants, and well-connected to transit. Amazing value for the price. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it highly.

Un jour, on nous avait enlevé les serviettes mais mas remplacé la totalité. Très bruyant jour et nuit. Dommage, car sinon c'est très propre, bien situé.

No elevator so if you have heavy luggage and are on the upper floors, it’s a long way up. Two toilets and 1 shower for a number of rooms. A sink in every room would be appreciated.

• Tyler (10/5): - Finding the location was pretty straightforward. All the staff that we encountered were incredibly kind and professional. Great location for exploring the Gothic Quarter and other parts of Barcelona! The room was small, but had everything you could need and was quite clean. Our only complaint was that the walls were a bit thin, so the people in the room next to you can really impact the enjoyment of your stay. Would definitely recommend staying here!

• Autumn (8/5): - I loved the location, and Angel was very nice and helpful. The walls are pretty thin but it wasn't busy enough to be an issue. There wasn't an elevator and we were on the third floor, but luckily my friend and I are able to climb stairs without issue.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - The property manager was beyond welcoming. The room was clean, but modest. Lots of hot water. Towels changed every day even when we said it wasn't necessary. Everything worked. A great view of the street from the balcony. Wonderful neighborhood. There are quite a few steps to get to any of the rooms so perhaps not the best choice for anyone who isn't eager to climb a little. Good workout, otherwise.
• まるとも (4/5): - オーナーはとても気さくでいい人だったので申し訳ないんですけど、、ロケーション条件以外は残念でした。。ホテル紹介の掲載写真が綺麗に写しすぎです。部屋の鍵も建付け悪いし、もう壊れそうでした。シーツのシミも目立ちました。螺旋階段の写真はありましたが、エレベーターが無いことをわかるように書いておいて欲しかったです。宿泊費が結構したのに、金額に見合っていません。周りにはスーパーも美味しいお店もあるし、カタルーニャ音楽堂で夜音楽聞いて5分で帰れるのがメリット！と思い直して気分を変えました。ヨーロッパのホテル選びは難しいですね。

When we arrived to the room it was dirty (probably it was not cleaned after the previous customers) and during our stay they did not clean although we asked them to clean. The worst thing is to sleep in dirty beds.

• autumn (10/5): Would definitely stay here again - The owner is a lovely and friendly man who we viewed as more of a grandpa figure - he gave us advice about the city and was great with any queries we had regarding the room (e.g. How to work the air con). The location was perfect and the street Is safe and well lit up even at night. The beds were comfy and there was even a maid who cleaned rooms. This definitely felt more like a hotel than a hostel aside from the shared bathroom (which was also super clean)
• J.B. Van Wely (8/5): Live in the real Barcelona - The location is perfect. Twenty minutes walk (at most) to most attractions. Embedded in a lively residential area. Too many bars, restaurants, and cafes to list. Be aware. It's a lively neighborhood, and Spaniards keep late hours. There will be street noise until 1:00am. Also, it's on a pedestrian street. It's not a good choice if you're driving.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good rate with Hiking - We had to walk 30 mins to find the place as the taxi dropped us @ the wrong place, pulling 2 large luggage & going up 69 steps staircase was a challenge. We did it after people around kept on directing us the wrong way.... The room was fine with a shower & toilet was accessible, no crowds. Wish there was a TV, the first night was noisy fr the streets. Interesting alleys and close to Musica & walking dist to Arc de T & other key areas. The hostal rate was good if you do not have large luggage like us. Safe area ok.
• Lina (6/5): Nice Neighborhood, clean rooms - Not far away from Rambla. Nice street, some food and clothes stores, bars. Very clean and calm room. Some rooms has street view. Nice interior, seems cosy. You will stay in 4th stage, so many stairs and no elevator ( be noticed with heavy luggage). Two toilets and one shower. This hostel has 7 rooms. Every room has his own sink, and you can find hand soap. Walls are quite thin, so you can hear all conversations in coridor, and your neighbours. Beds could be better, was too hard for me, but pillows were comfortable. Shared toilets was always clean and you can find shower gel and shampoon left by others. Where were no place to put wet towells. You can find even a kettle, but unfortunately no cups.

• Andrew (8/5): Great location with easy access all day - Great reception on arrival which was quick. Staff was knowledgeable about the local area and was able to provide adequate information for our enquiries, being that it was our first time in Malaga. Terrace bar was a nice area to chill after a long day exploring and the location of the accommodation provided easy access to the city centre 24 hrs each day.

• Georgia (4/5): Cheap digs, no frills - Lovely hosts, cute room which was very clean. I had to ask for a kettle and a cup, no drinking glasses, no hair dryer available. The shared bathroom is outside, which was very cold since it was winter. Showers had smoked glass doors, and while they worked okay, I didn't feel like I had any privacy. While the venue isn't on smoking, there was cigarette smoking wafting through the whole time.

Overall very comfortable with good service, only thing is there is no elevator so be wary if you have multiple or heavy suitcases. I also had a shared bathroom which is not ideal, but overall I would go again.
