• Dhanushka (9/5): - Very beautiful scenery location. we enjoyed a lot. All the rooms have this beautiful mountain view. Also the tea process experience was also very unique. Appreciate all the dedication by the staff. Pretty much value to the price specially because of the location and the tea experience. Some rooms directly below the factory is very noisy during the day. It directly impacts the clam atmosphere provided by the beautiful scenery view. Gladly staff arranged us another room which didn’t had the noise of the factory and it provided us the better calm experience.

• Caitlin (2/5): Do not stay here! - Location is good, and view is very nice. It is the only saving grace of this dump! We had an awful experience here! We were given the wrong room initially and then when we were taken to the right room, it was absolutely filthy. There was a dead bird outside the sliding door, the floors were covered in dust and dirt and there was a dirty footprint in the bath. Luckily we only had to stay one night. Terrible value for money - we expected a lot more for $70 a night.

Полотенца грязные, белье в номере исчеркано ручкой. В столовой, где проходит завтрак грязные столы, заляпаные окна панорамные, через которые невозможно любоваться живописным видом. Пол грязный, липкий.Соотношение цена и качество не соответствует. Если вы выставляете такую высоченную стоимость за ночь , пожалуйста, поддерживайте отель на должном уровне!
• Bel (10/5): Unforgettable! - We stayed as part of our honeymoon trip around Sri-Lanka. The hotel staff were so fantastic and made us feel very special. The room was wonderful and the views from the room were incredible. I didn’t book for longer!

• Alison (4/5): Great view but the Hotel could be so much better. - The view is the star of the show but has absolutely nothing to do with the hotel, we didn’t have breakfast but we did have the buffet dinner, that was all ok and considerable effort had gone to present food in an appealing and organised way. Management were attentive and quick to place people. The singing duo were good and enjoyed by the room. I didn’t sleep at all as the mattress was old, of poor quality and uncomfortable and there was no bedding for comfort only a sheet and one pillow per person. The balcony light stayed on all night and not possible to switch off leaving the room in an eerie glow. I had to put our bags against the curtains to try and block some light. The towels are old and slippery not absorbing anything. Bathroom smelt of drains. The balcony frame was very dirty and cleaning it would be a significant improvement. From reception to our room was very long walk and up and down, a feeling of being a long way from any assistance. Ask for a room nearer to reception if you have mobility issues as there could potentially be a lot of walking and stairs.

• Janina (6/5): Leider nicht schön - Der Blick vom Hotelzimmer war wirklich sehr schön. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption war wirklich sehr bemüht, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, er half uns bei der Organisation der Weiterreise und organisierte einen Fahrer für uns. Das Zimmer ist an sich nicht schlecht eingerichtet, aber es war sehr dreckig, sodass wir uns überhaupt nicht wohlfühlten. Vieles war außerdem kaputt und gammelig. Die sogenannte Badewanne, von der aus man eigentlich einen traumhaften Blick hat, war dreckig und ranzig. Zudem war es sehr hellhörig im Zimmer. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt ist die fehlende Klimaanlage, es gab zwar einen Ventilator, aber bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel zu diesem Preis erwarte ich einfach etwas anderes. Das Hotel ist zudem scheinbar Anlaufstelle für viele Tagesausflüge, da direkt nebenan die dazugehörige Teefabrik inkl. Shop ist. Es herrscht also viel Trubel tagsüber.

Затем нам показали номер для детей с раздельными кроватями,, который нас устроил, но потом администрация отеля в одностороннем порядке решила поменять номер и отправила детей в номер, находящийся в подвале. По внешнему виду номер напоминал комнату для персонала. После высказанных нами возмущений, нам дали другой номер. Короче данный отель не тянет на свою цену. Не советую.

• Maria (9/5): - Lo mejor del alojamiento es el tamaño de la habitación que es realmente una suite con unas vistas de película al valle desde donde el atardecer es espectacular. Dispone de aire acondicionado y ventilador. Dispone de nevera. Artículos de aseo de calidad. Considero que las toallas estaban algo usadas por lo que se podrían cambiar algunas por otras nuevas. Por otra parte, algunas zonas comunes necesitaban algún retoque, como por ejemplo el enmoquetado del ascensor o la zona de las escaleras. Es difícil que te recojan por aplicaciones como Uber o PickMe, tienes que trasladarte en autobús o parar los tuktuk en la propia carretera, para lo cual el personal del hotel sí que nos echó una mano.

We had 2 rooms booked - chose the superior rooms as thought will be more spacious and nicer but they were all on very low floors and seemed unused. Dirty Balcony in one room. Damp smell in both the rooms and brown dirty water from taps all night, no hot water in the morning didn’t work

From the room, you can see lakes, waterfalls, and endless green mountains stretching across a wide panoramic landscape. It’s the kind of place where you can simply sit back and relax without needing to do anything else — nature at its finest. Although I had a few issues in the room, the staff responded immediately and resolved everything, even though it was quite late. Their quick action and helpful attitude really made a difference. A truly peaceful and beautiful place. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature.

• Marian (4/5): Ruined Anniversary Tour. - The only thing I can say was that the bed was comfortable. I suffered from food poisoning for 2 days from the food from the salad bar. I had severe stomach pain and vomiting. This I reported to the manager. It ruined the trip by train to Ella as I was also vomiting on the train. It was our Wedding Anniversary which I am sad to say was completely ruined. Our friends were with us and the gentleman was also ill from eating the salad. My husband and friends wife did not eat it and we're okay. I think that the hygiene standards need reviewing and that some form of compensation should be offered to me for ruining my and my husband's much looked forward to Anniversary tour.

• Lifanova (5/5): Disappointment with nice view - Nice view from the window, comfortable bed, and an interesting tour at the tea factory. The balcony was dirty, windows in the bathroom, balcony, and restaurant were not clean, the shower switch didn’t work, there was no stopper in the bathtub or sink, and the TV was super tiny (better not to have it at all). On the second day, hot water was turned off — no one knew why, and it took an hour to sort it out. The staff was UNPROFESSIONAL. A waiter refused to take away dirty glasses when we asked in the restaurant. Trash stayed outside our door all night — only removed after we asked twice. We gave a dirty plate from the room to a staff member, but later found it just left in the middle of the hallway, with no one around. The floor was freezing, but no slippers were provided. The curtain was dirty and stained. This hotel really needs a good, responsible manager.

We opted to eat in our room because there was a big and loud event in the restaurant, but that ended early so it was not a big problem. The staff seemed overwhelmed and it was a little chaotic but it was absolutely ok for a one night stay.

The staff was very supportive and offered us a two option to select a room as I requested for a twin bed room which didn't had a great view as there was a construction ongoing. Then they suggested another room which had an amazing view of Puna Ella, Kotmale reservoir and the breathtaking mountain view. We could enjoy a nice sunset scenery as well. Food was good. Will go there again.

By chance, we stumbled upon this hotel, and it turned out to be far beyond our expectations! The view from the hotel and our room was absolutely extraordinary – truly breathtaking. It felt like we were surrounded by nature's beauty in every direction. To top it off, the dinner was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Sri Lanka. The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were impeccable. If you’re in this area, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss!

Bed was hard, pillows were flat and only a sheet to sleep with. The TV reception was poor with bad picture quality and WiFi was poor.
• Niki (6/5): The view was amazing - the breakfast was okay the view was breathtaking, absolutely amazing. the Bed was unconfutable for me, the beautiful bathroom with view the mountains has a bad smell, it was a shame as this was still waters that could have been dealt with prior customers arrived. the covers on the bed and the round pillows had dirty stains on them :(
• Joanna (7/5): Great views but in need of renovation - The views from the rooms are amazing and the rooms are clean. A good location for stages 3 and 4 of the Pekoe hiking trail. The rooms are adequate but in need of renovation. Very uncomfortable lighting, just one option of bright lights directly over the bed. There are building works going on outside and the hotel gets very noisy early in the morning from 5am onwards. Some of this noise is guests leaving early, but it’s also staff who should be quieter.

They did not give enough Us water bottles upon request ( gave only two 500ml bottles per stay) . Usually other sri lankan hotels offer any number of water bottles during our stay ! Food was not upto the standard. Ala carte was a total mess !! First time we saw that Some indian travellers were cooking inside the rooms. 🤣🤣🤮🤮 Poor overall management

• Las (8/5): A comfortable stay in a stunning location - The staff and their hospitality, Ajith and Pubudu have been exceptionally supportive. The view from the room is breathtaking, a waterfall can be seen from the room and also the Kotmale reservoir from far. A great morning experience as you wake up and walk to the balcony, misty mountains are stunning. Nice comfy beds as well. The hotel needs an uplift, specially the room window glasses need a cleaning to give the best viewing experience to the guests
