• Thatyane Costa (10/5): - O quarto é limpo e muito bonito. A cama é confortável e as toalhas limpas. A cozinha é equipada e os anfitriões disponibilizam comidinhas saborosas para os hóspedes. O check-in é muito tranquilo É um pouco distante a pé da estação Rato.

• Rowena (9/5): A great find in Lisbon - House Sao Bento is a great little find close to the city. The room was great and everything was super clean. We booked the private bathroom but there always seemed to be a communal one available when we passed by. Kitchen was handy for making drinks and light meals. We would definitely return if coming back to Lisbon. The key for the bathroom was a bit tricky and doors a bit noisy but it didn't impact our enjoyment!

• Prades (8/5): Très agréable. Nous recommanderons l’adresse. - La propreté, la gentillesse du gérant et la localisation sur le trajet du tram 28 qui traverse Lisbonne et va dans l’Alfama. Adresse que je recommande vivement. Une salle de bains proche de notre chambre était fermée. Dommage pour nous qui devions aller dans l’autre partie de la Guest House.

• Hobart (10/5): Excellent facility - THe host, Pedro, was friendly and very helpful. Our room was large, tastefully decorated and adjacent a shared balcony. I know this is hard to believe, but there was nothing we didn't like. If we ever return to Lisboa, we will stay here again.
• elea (1/5): Catastrophique - La literie et l'emplacement, plusieurs arrêts de bus à proximité. Séjour très décevant. La chambre était correcte, mais la propreté laisse à désirer : nous avons trouvé un ongle coupé sous le verre de la salle de bain destiné aux brosses à dents. L’insonorisation est catastrophique, que ce soit à l’intérieur même de la guest house ou avec les voisins extérieurs. Nous entendions tout ce qui se passait dans la maison (cuisine, salle de bain), et les voisins du dessus ont fait de la musique (piano, harmonica, chants) jusqu’à 2h30 du matin pendant plusieurs nuits. Le troisième soir, j’ai dû monter moi-même leur demander d’arrêter. À force, nous n’avions même plus envie de rentrer le soir à la guesthouse en pensant au vacarme que les voisins allaient faire. Nous n’avons quasiment pas dormi et sommes rentrés de vacances fatigués. Je ne recommande pas du tout cette maison d’hôtes.

Beautiful room/love the decor, we didn't take full advantage but communal supplies/kitchen very generous, nice social vibe. Close to some good breakfast spots and good transport links. The shower head was not stable in the holder, had to hold it.

The room and bed was smaller than in the original booking. The neighbors above were playing the piano after 10pm on a Tuesday. You could even hear them talking.

Localisation idéale pour sortir et visiter la ville. Très bon rapport qualité/prix au vu des prestations. On reviendra!

• O'Hara (10/5): Fabulous - Greeted by Pedro, the owner, on Saturday, who was extremely helpful and upbeat. He gave us a recommendation for a fabulous Fado restaurant. The accommodation is comfortable, with beautifully decorated rooms, extremely clean, and has everything you need, including 2 well stocked kitchens.There's a supermarket and cafés nearby, along with a bus stop and a beautiful park.. You can walk to Pink Streer In 20 mins (downhill). I would stay here again and recommend to others 👌 Nothing really., it's lovely accommodation at a good price.

Jag gillade den personliga och hemtrevliga inredningen och den smidiga incheckningen. Välutrustat kök för självhushåll och fräscha badrum. Saknade en sänglampa, men det går ju bra att läsa med takbelysningen på.

• Max (7/5): A cut above the average hostel - The staff checking us in were genuinely warm and welcoming. The place doesn't feel crowded or chaotic like many hostels do, and it's nicely decorated with real charm to it. Generally clean throughout, and there's free toast in the morning which is always a welcome touch. The rooms are on the smaller side, and unless you book the largest room you'll be sharing a bathroom with other guests — but to be fair, that's just the nature of a hostel and handled fine here. Not really a complaint, more something to be aware of before booking.

• Tina (6/5): Beautiful rooms, but unfortunately VERY noisy - The room I booked (with own bathroom) was really nicely decorated as seen on the pictures beforehand. I also got the information on how to self check-in in time and everything worked smoothly. The kitchen was well equipped as far as I can tell without cooking there myself. It was also really nice, that there was coffee, tea, cereal, a bit of bread and apples the guests could take! I also appreciated the area around the house, I always felt safe in the surroundings as a solo traveller. There are also some good restaurants nearby. Most of the communication was really easy and fast. Concerning cleanliness I was also happy! Unfortunately, there was one major problem for me, that made the stay not relaxing: noise. There are two factors to this in my opinion: 1) The noise you can hear from the other guests on the floor – which of course, is to be expected to a certain degree. But the walls are really extremely thin and the doors to the hallway are not well sealed at all. The first two days I basically had the feeling someone was in my room everytime someone went to have a shower in the communal bathrooms or were talking in the hallway cause the sounds travel extremely well. The locks on the doors to the room are also kinda wonky and not the quietest (they work though), which is another noise factor that could be prevented in my opinion. 2) The noise you can hear from the neighbours upstairs. This might only be so bad in the room I stayed in ("Óbidos"). It was very unsettling to hear basically everything the neighbours upstairs did in the room above me at night – from walking with stilettos (??), to playing the piano (that was the only nice thing), having loud discussions (if I could understand Portuguese, I would have understood what they are saying, that's how well I could hear them), some conflict with a shouting guy or more shouting guys (?!). At some point I was so concerned that I googled who to call about potential domestic violence, cause it was so unclear what was going on up there. Very not relaxing. Another thing that was weird to me was that I never saw anyone from the team there. As another traveller also wrote, it was not possible to find the "reception", I don't think there is one. Which is not a problem per se, but I found it irritating that it was communicated beforehand that there is one and that they need to register my passport (which never happened after I asked where I can find the reception). I don't need to show my passport if they don't need it, but the confusing communication left me with a weird feeling overall.

• Linda (8/5): Až na zimu v koupelně hodnotím kladně, ubytování super vybavené, v blízkosti zastávky tramvaje i autobusu. - Zahrnovalo možnost malé snídaně, o které jsme předem nevěděly, takže hezké překvapení. Hezké, čisté vybavení, plně vybavená kuchyň. Zima v koupelně, v umyvadle netekla pořádně teplá voda a jeden večer později ani ve sprše.

No puedo decir nada, estan rehabilitando la fachada y hay unos andamios, pero no me molestaron en absoluto, considero que será algo que quiten en breve.

The bathrooms were also incredibly clean, and there were plenty of them for the number of people that stayed in the complex. Cute decoration, and the kitchen was well equipped. The balcony might have been a highlight of the stay. A few minutes away from the city center, so a great location. Both entrances work through codes but the doors did not close properly a few times, so safety was a small concern but all was fine.
