- Andreas (5/5): Urlaub auf der Baustelle - Die Anlage ist nicht weit weg vom Zentrum Das Ganze Hotel ist eine Baustelle. Von Früh bis Abends Baulärm. Wenn ich das gewusst hätte wären wir sicher nicht hierher gefahren. Es war nicht angezeigt das hier Massive Zubauten und Generalsanierung sind. Schade habe versucht die Hotelleitung zu Kontaktieren und auch Booking, doch es reagiert niemand. Hauptsache Geld eingesteckt. Sind sehr Enttäuscht von Booking.com

- Fatima (7/5): Perfecte ligging met de juiste faciliteiten. - De ligging van het hotel is perfect. De mall is in de buurt, eetgelegenheden een groot zwembad, grote kamers en uitgebreid ontbijt. De receptie is extreem slecht bereikbaar we zijn de eerste dag van 18:00 tot 21:00 bezig geweest met de kamer. Ze hadden ons in het bijgebouw geplaatst met uitzicht op zwembad ja, maar niet op de main pool. Ik heb hier vaker geslapen en heb altijd een kamer in het hoofdgebouw gehad. Daarna wilde ze ons plaatsen in een downgrade kamer voor 2 personen en een extra bed plaatsen, terwijl wij betalen voor een volledige 3 persoonskamer. Uiteindelijk een kamer in het hoofdgebouw, maar niet met uitzicht op het zwembad. Als compensatie voor uren rompslomp kregen we een fruitschaal met 2 appels een banaan en een kiwi en 3 koekjes. Beetje schandalig. Overigens als je met je mobiel belt naar de receptie nemen ze wel gelijk op, bel je vanuit je kamer dan duurt het minimaal 10min.

- Sammy (5/5): 5/10. - It was okay. Getting renovated, the beds were comfy and the toilet was nice. The bedroom was outdated, the light didn’t work on the left hand side of the bed (room 1145). There were ants everywhere and we reported this and didn’t hear anything from reception after we called until we physically walked down. They offered a new room and were lovely! But we only had 1 night left so it wasn’t worth it. It was just OK. Nothing special, staff are lovely (mainly the women, and the men on reception) but unfortunately the ants crawling all over our room ruined it. We would love to request a potential refund.

- James (3/5): Noisy - The guest relations manager tried very hard to make up for the problems we encountered The hotel is in the midst of major construction works On the morning of my journey at 8am I received and email telling me “minor enhancement works” are ongoing. It is anything but minor enhancement. They are building over it. The pool area is dominated by a large metal hoarding screening the works there are two Cranes operating and pneumatic breakers scabbling back concrete making a lot of noise and dust. The dust blows into the pool area and the noise echoes off the metal screen. Our room had a smell of damp owing to the leak from the shower and the wallpaper was peeling. The hotel guest relations manager offered to move us but the alternative was to a room closer to the noise nuisance. We were offered lunch as a gesture and we appreciated this. We discussed this with the GRM as they directed us to and she was excellent. Despite the efforts to try to make it up to us the fundamental issue remains. We did not know about this until I was already at the airport. My flight was delayed otherwise I’d have been in the air at time of receipt of their warning email and it was too late to do anything in any case due to the cancellation/ no show policy. Had we known the works were ongoing we would have stayed elsewhere and the lack of clear communication is the issue. It was suggested that the booking.com listing doesn’t mention this works as it is contained in guest reviews. It is not acceptable to hide honest representation of your current hotel state in guest reviews and claim That for this reason the hotel doesn’t need to make the works clear on their site. In the only comms received the works are also grossly understated - it is anything but minor enhancement works.

- Jennyfer (5/5): Bonne expérience sauf au niveau de la piscine - Le lieu est jolie , le mall a proximité Il y avait des travaux pendant que j’étais à la piscine. Alors que j’étais allongé sur le transat, une sorte de morceau de fer rouillé est tombé sur ma cuisse. J’ai signalé l’incident à l’un des serveurs de la piscine, mais il ne s’est ni excusé ni inquiété ; il s’est simplement empressé de jeter le morceau dans la poubelle à côté de mon transat. De manière générale, toutes les mauvaises expériences que j’ai eues concernaient la piscine. Le serveur oubliait régulièrement de nous servir et je devais sans cesse réclamer au bar après 20 à 30 minutes d’attente. De plus, le personnel nous sollicitait régulièrement pour le paiement, mais prenait énormément de temps lorsqu’il s’agissait de nous rembourser ou de nous rendre la monnaie. Nous devions souvent relancer plusieurs fois. Je trouve cela dommage, car le lieu est très beau et le reste du personnel était irréprochable. L’accueil, la conciergerie ainsi que la restauration, aussi bien au petit-déjeuner qu’au dîner, étaient vraiment aux petits soins.

- Yanis (3/5): Aucun standing de 5 étoiles - - Localisation - Malgré la formation du personnel catastrophique, l’hospitalité marocaine est tout de même présente - Literie très confortables - Petit déjeuner complet et excellent - Inadmissible de ne pas prévenir pour les travaux et de payer plus de 200€ par nuit (cela est une honte et n’est pas non plus mentionné sur leur site). Les travaux font un bruit constant et rend l’hôtel plus moche et d’autant plus la façade où on dirait qu’ils ont détruit la moitié de l’hôtel. Sans parler des services non disponibles pour cause de travaux : SPA, salle de sport - Que dire de la formation du personnel ? Je pense que le personnel est mieux dans d’autres hôtels 3/4 étoiles. À notre arrivée, AUCUNE instruction concernant les services, les restaurants (horaires), vraiment cela est un gros point noir pour un hôtel 5 étoiles qui n’a finalement rien de 5 étoiles. - Les prix ??? Pas beaucoup de choix et pratiquent des prix d’un hôtel de luxe comme la Mamounia alors qu’ils sont très très loin - Infrastructures de la chambre notamment la Clim : je ne comprends pas comment la Clim dans un hôtel de ce standing n’est pas avec un thermostat digitale au lieu d’une roulette qui ne fonctionne pas. Nous avons activé la Clim à 10 degrés et cela ne donnait pas de froid. Heureusement, nous ne sommes pas tombés en période de forte chaleur. - Attention quand vous réservez, il existe 2 vue sur la piscine (qui n’est pas précise bien évidement): chambre prestige pour la petite piscine et je vous laisse deviner quand ils parlent de vue sur la piscine… on voyait peut être 1/10eme de la piscine. Si vous voulez une vue sur la piscine principale, il faut donc prendre l’option premium. A fuir tant que les travaux ne sont pas finis et que le personnel n’est pas formé correctement (je pense aux personnes ayant réservé pour cet été)
- Shadan (9/5): Very good and enjoyable stay - We had booked the suite for a family of 4 people and the suite was spacious ,modern and very clean . The hotel is very well located and access to the mall next door was very handy . We were not disturbed by the renovation work that was being carried out at the hotel . Breakfast had a good selection. Breakfast service needs some improvement and more attention to guests requests .

Posizione a pochi mjnuti di taxi dalla Medina, circa 30 minuti a piedi. Bellissima piscina esterna. Il minibar non era fornito. La camera era buia anche con le luci accese. Nella sala da pranzo per la colazione entravano volatili durante il servizio (con rischio per l’igiene degli alimenti esposti). Non tutto il personale di sala era in grado di capire o parlare la lingua inglese.

Hôtel fort sympathique et très bien situé - Nous avons étaient très bien accueillie par le personnel de l’hôtel, mention spéciale pour B.Moustapha qui a été formidable jusqu’a nous prévoir notre petit déjeuner pour notre départ à 4am. Et Soukaina au petit soin du début à la fin. Des produits de qualité et diversifiés au niveau de la restauration. Et plusieurs piscines proposées. Merci d’avoir rendu notre séjour agréable. Nous avons eu un quiproquo au Check-in le jour de notre arrivé qui a été géré par Soukaina.

Lina was an amazing tour advisor who booked all our tours and restaurants reservation, we booked both the city wall tour and the atlas mountain tour both the guides were excellent and well informed and also our mountain driver was a very good safe driver We were warned about the work being carried out at the hotel but I booked a spa and the dust and work was being carried out at the same time I feel that maybe spa booking should have not been taken with all the mess and noise was not really very relaxing. The location was excellent and service was good and again praise to Lina the tour advisor The only thing I could fault was the work which caused a lot of dust we were warned about it and there was cleaning constantly being done

- Shyam (5/5): It’s a good hotel but definitely not the money we paid roughly 275 usd per night - The property is huge and has a good size pool with a good spread of breakfast but not many vegan options , garden view room was good The property dint feel like a 5 star property as there was zero welcome on our arrival to the hotel , no drink offered or any Moroccan welcome …the room given to us was worn out and not in a good shape luckily the manager changed it to another room after our complain ..

- Brahim (7/5): - L’emplacement de l’hôtel est très bon, idéal pour se déplacer facilement à Marrakech. Les chambres sont confortables et propres, avec une literie de qualité. Le petit déjeuner est bon et varié, ce qui est appréciable. Il y avait beaucoup de bruit à cause de travaux, y compris le dimanche, ce qui est dérangeant pour le repos. Une meilleure isolation phonique (double vitrage) serait nécessaire. Un problème d’évacuation dans la douche a été constaté. Le prix est vraiment très élevé . Je viens souvent à cet hôtel et à ce tarif, cela reste exagéré. Enfin, il manque des activités ou animations au sein de l’hôtel.

- Lynn (3/5): I would not recommend this hotel - The location The service and small details were not of the standard of a 5 star hotel. The room we were given at check in was not what I booked. The second one was next to a noisy construction site. In the first two rooms there was fruit, bathrobes and slippers, in the third room they were missing. On the second day, there was a leak and water was pouring from the ceiling. The iron and scales were not working. The breakfast left a lot to be desired and the service in other restaurants was not good, you could be waiting up to an hour to be served even though it wasn’t busy. I became sick on the third night with food poisoning (not the fault of the hotel) and had to return home on the fifth day. I told them we were checking out and were told to leave the card keys at reception which I did, unfortunately we were not given a final invoice. I have since emailed the hotel twice, once directly and once through booking.com to request a final invoice for my travel insurance company but I have not had a reply which doesn’t surprise me given the standard and inefficiency of the staff. The one thing I can say in its favour is that the hotel and pool areas are spotless clean and the pool staff and concierge staff are very helpful, efficient and friendly. We love Marrakesh and have been there many times but this is the first time staying at the Savoy Le Grand and can categorically state we will never stay there again and would not recommend it.

- Abdur (8/5): - Clean. Luxurious environment. Staff were friendly. Especially Chaima at reception. Very kind. Went above and beyond to help. The little things could have been better. For example shampoo, soap etc were far too small and basic for a 5 star hotel.
- Roman (7/5): Ohne Baustellenlärm wäre es wahrscheinlich sehr schön gewesen - Zwei Outdoor-Pools, gute Mischung aus 1001 Nacht und westlichen Standards, sauber Baustelle!!!! Kein Hinweis auf Booking zu finden, dass hier schon sehr lange eine Riesenbaustelle über dem gesamten Eingangsbereich wie auch eine weitere Baustelle direkt am „Relax-Pool“ bestehen. Zuerst wurde uns ein Zimmer zugewiesen, das zwei Zimmer von der Riesenbaustelle entfernt war. Erst nach sofortiger Intervention wurde uns ein ruhigeres, aber günstigeres Zimmer ohne Poolblick zugewiesen. Am Hauptpool hörte man wenig vom Lärm der Riesenbaustelle wegen der lauten Musik, am Relax-Pool fast dauerhaft den Lärm von der kleineren Baustelle. Meiner Frau wurde im Spa wegen des Baustellenlärms empfohlen, eine Massage frühestens um 17 Uhr zu nehmen …
- Danny (7/5): Het was okay. - De locatie, het personeel, zwembad en ontbijt. De kamer was helaas niet heel goed schoon, daarnaast kan de afwerking ook wat beter. Daarnaast was er een aan de voor- en achterzijde een verbouwing gaande waardoor je niet heel rustig aan de buiten zwembaden kon liggen.

Nous avons eu une suite vue piscine , nous avons bien indiqué que nous sommes 2 adultes et une adolescente (12ans), à notre arrivée le lit pour l’enfant n’était pas prête nous avons sollicité le service en cause e la personne nous indique que l’enfant peut bien dormir avec nous dans le même lit , j’ai trouvé un peu bizarre cette réflexion pour un hôtel 5*. Au petit déjeuner il faut descendre tôt si non c’est le haos total à partir du 9h30

Das Hotel und sein Innenhof ähnelt mehr einer großen Messe, als einem intimen (luxuriösen) Rückzugsort, das Frühstück Saal war laut, sehr viele und laute Gäste, das Frühstück Angebot war gut, das Möbel - billig, wie in einer Studenten Kantine. Die Lage war schlecht, die Sehenswürdigkeiten nur mit Taxi in einem Verkehrs Wirrwarr erreichbar.
